zach wasn’t the problem, he gave his teammates plenty of chances to win the game, and they sold. The pick was bad yes, but it was either that or a sack and he was trying to win a game.

Great interception by Spillane he played his heart out.Good tough Raider win though the offensive has to spread around not focusing only on Adams.Meyers wasn't used at all.

I went to Mt Sac a year or so after Antonio Pierce transferred, absolute legend. We all looked up to him. I’m a cowboys fan but I sure was rooting for AP to be successful. This is a beautiful sight to see, so close to home. Let’s go raiders. AP!

Imagine how much more energy the team would have if they didn’t expend it on celebrating every time they do their job.
What's wild is that Wilson evaded the pressure of _three_ players, including juking Crosby, got enough space and fired off a rocket just before 4th player came down field and annihilated him. It was accurate and had it been caught, would've been for the win.

@@m.m.6044 Yeah, staring down receivers means you have a limited shelf life in the NFL. You could also tell that he was one of those players who just didn't understand that _everyone_ in the NFL is good. He was used to dominating, and when he couldn't anymore, it crushed him. Worse, he seems to have a processing speed problem, which shows up on the field as above, and off the field with a bit of Dunning-Kruger. One hopes he's had some humility & understanding knocked into him.
We'll take it. The coaching change has given the team some life.

He’s doin pretty good. Playing with heart but I’d like to see him manage the pocket better. He’s not a statue. On that TD pass he showed he can move around the pocket and buy time for a throw so there’s no excuses to take some of the sacks he’s taken. It’s not all his fault I realize that but I’m hoping to see him call more audibles and to release the ball faster in some situations. Overall I’m pleased with him but he’s got work to do.
He's benchworthy, he can't run the offense effectively. Beginning of the end for him. Jimmy G will be back in sooner than later. He can't even feed more than one receiver. Once a team stops the run he's done for.

Man, Zach Wilson actually had a really nice game, created some great plays scrambling for yards and throwing on the run. If he keeps his foot in bounds on the would be td run, amazing performance
But he DIDN'T keep his foot inbounds, then, penalties took another couple of TD's off the board and before ya' know it, they're kicking a field goal. Very Jetsy typical ish....

The Hail Mary nearly answering the bell for Zach Wilson. This was an incredible game b/w 2 teams that aren’t going anywhere, but Antonio Pierce has helped the Raiders to win with toughness when things aren’t pretty

@@GerardoHernandezjr Miami has more of an offense than the Raiders in my opinion which is why I feel like Miami will win this. The Raiders defense has improved in the last 2 games, but the Dolphins offense is a nightmare compared to Oakland, which is why I'm picking Miami to win this one.

I watched this game, the Jets shot themselves in the foot, they should havr lead 21-3, but every time they had rhythm, they got a penalty. It wasn't Zach Wilson, he actually played good. Their offense has many issues.
Overall lacks discipline and Maxx Crosby was a beast. Raiders defense was good tho. Overall it was an even matchup. Raiders defense def saved this game but yeah Zach Wilson, I feel bad for him. He is not a bad QB, but its not like he got much to work with. They need to protect him better and add Wr1

Our offense can't put the game away when we need to, our defense keeps having to bail us out, and we have a coach who doesn't put enough discipline into his players to prevent them from making stupid mistakes and committing dumb penalties.

Raiders difference now. Aidan is reading his progressions and not locked on a single wideout like Carr and Jimmy G were forced to under McDummy. Michael Mayer is going to be a star. Josh Jacobs reminded you he's a star. Davante Adams and Jacobi Meyers are a great 1-2 combo. The Raiders defense has been so underrated all year.

With all the great games today the NFL really saved the best for last having these two heavy weights who didn't make the playoffs last year go head to head on Sunday night football.
for a good night sleep before a new week, this is a very responsible approach.
The desperation was palpable, which is always fun to watch with aggressive defenses.
Nothing like a defensive battle
The Raiders defense is quietly improving over the weeks. The Jets offense continues to be their downfall for that team.
The raiders played tommy devito and zach wilson the last two weeks....they have tua and mahomes coming up we'll see.
Two wins, but still MASSIVE room for improvement. No excuse for that fumble toward the end of game. As a player you make sure that NO mistakes are made on your part that will cost YOUR team the game. They didn't do this. They made this win a lot harder than it had to be.
They can try, but the truth is mistakes ARE a part of the game, Interceptions and fumbles are a part of the game. Ideally you minimize them as much as possible but they aren't perfect, and to think they are or will play perfect every single down of every game is naive at best. Defensive players get payed a decent salary as well, to cause those same mistakes mentioned.
Give credit where credit is due. They’re playing with a rookie qb with their starting LT out and a interim hc going up against the #1 ranked defense going into week 10

He’s the only player doing anything. Mistakes happen when you’re fatigued you can’t rely on Jacobs to save the day every play and then not open up holes for him either. Their offense is still embarrassing if they keep on squandering it and always rely on defense. Their defense must be absolutely tired. I’d feel like telling O’Connell if I were on defense “are u gonna pass and make a play and get us a score or do I have to do that too?”

Embarrassing performance offensively. Classic Raiders let’s try winning the game with only field goals. The more things change ie: a new coach and QB, the more they stay the same.

Garret Wilson literally took the ball from Conklin! What is wrong with him????This could've been a beautiful ending but he single-handedly lost that last play. OMG!!! That was bad man
And vice versa, Garrett Wilson had the game winning catch if Conklin doesn't break it up. I like the idea of error on the side of being aggressive.

Good win for the Raiders. They still have a lot of issues. O'Connell is still very green and learning the ropes as a QB. The defense is always trying to play catch up to whatever the opposing team's offense is doing. The O line needs to protect O'Connell better.

As disgusting as Zach Wilson is, that last play would have been the greatest Hail Mary ever.
Besides the interception and maybe 2-3 other plays, Zach actually did not play terrible.
It really interests me when we usually think of good qbs, how much is actually because the rest of the offense shows up.
There were so many drives that could’ve ended up as touchdowns but were called back for penalties, bad blocking, or dropped passes.

Raiders play a much more composed game. Need to get running game going from start to finish.
Hope Davis keeps this staff together as they seem to have a clue on how to prepare the team for higher effort play.
Hopefully they work with AOC on spreading the ball around more. Renfrow is hungry and Mayer needs more reps.

Jets really need to understand what their offensive identity is, because 40 plus pass plays for Zack is just not it, you got 2 legit RBs just keep running them, your defense is going keep you in games, just run on every play I don't care, if you got beat at least go out there lose on your best guns.

Good lord! 🙄 The nfl schedules these games based on how good both teams look on paper. Injuries and coaching changes simply happen that could very easily change the season. It’s not something the nfl has control over.
