In 50 years of following the NFL I had never seen a team score more than 62 points in a game. This season, it has happened twice, the other of course being the Dolphins' win over Denver when they hit 70
I feel it's still different when dolphins that was near the first weeks 😂 this is near finals and the chargers can't even do ball coverage. People are saying fire the coach 🤷♂️ more like fire every member that makes millions dropping every pass
At least the Dolphins faced a team that actually has a shot at the playoffs this season. The Raiders did score 62... but they also gave up 21... against the Chargers. It's not really saying much. At this point, if you don't beat the Chargers, you're playing a different sport.
For Raider fans, last week felt like the whole Shell year in 2006. This game felt like the 59-14 blowout over Josh McDaniels' Donkeys in 2010. Next week's game is gonna be the Carr/Murray/Mack thriller in the rain in 2014. Plus they are playing KC. Fate.
Almost had a second team joinn the 70 point club this year. Even more insane is that this time it was a 5-8 team that just got shut out the week before absolutely pasting a divisional rival with the same record...😳. This might not be a game relevant to the season, but statistically, this will be a game to remember.
As Rams fan I gotta say our game from last Sunday against Baltimore was very exciting and one hell of game. I'll admit it you guys did real good getting the win in OT. Very impressive. Much props! 👏👏🏈

That Jack Jones pick 6 might have been the best read/react int I have ever seen! And I was around to see Deion Sanders entire career! Not saying Jones is Deion but that play was like street smarts meet college degree! 😂
Raiders defense has been underrated this year and came up massive in this one...and the offense finally exploded the way they always had the potential to do with talent they have. AOC amazing game and looked like he got faster since last Sunday picking receivers and releasing the ball. Most dominating Raiders win I have ever seen.
AP is game planning now, but Graham is getting all the credit. Our defense wasn't underrated before AP; we were doing better against bad teams and horrible against good teams. But remember that even under AP, we gave up 31 points to the Chiefs. Although, AP bringing in Jack Jones was a very good move. Farva did look better. It's good that Bo had Farva throw long balls early. We got easy scores, and it definitely helped the run game as well.
I don't think any Raiders fan expected this tonight. A win is good, but a total blowout? Wow! Every time they scored another touchdown I was yelling "holy ****".
It's as if the NFL is scripting events to push higher ratings.🤔 Seriously, do you think anyone would watch the Raiders/Chiefs on Christmas Day if the Raiders came into that game after losing their last 4 games, one of them by a score of 3-0?

This could b start of something . Please Mark Davis dont dismantle this team keep coach and team together give them a chance!!! We can’t take another rebuild Raiders 4 life!!!
Well, let's be clear: your team was under *one of, if not the worst coach/GM duo in the history of the NFL.* Absolutely no way McDaniels could have coached such a dominant game out of his players. Zero chance whatsoever.
@@WhozaCardoza Wrong guess, Whoza: Steelers fan here. Which ain't saying much this year... But still leagues better than rooting for the homeless Bolts. Still, this got to be the first one anyone ever defended McDaniels on... anything, really. Man, that Raiders copium must be something else. 🙄
explain to me how the turn overs and complete blown coverages on defenses leaving WR wide open for touchdown passes would have changed if herbert was in? yeah chargers would have scored more. but Runningback fumble, kick return fumble, Sack fumble. from the runningback getting bulldozed trying to block a linebacker that sack fumbled the QB on his blind side.@@gzus1482
That's an extra point kick. Field goals are worth 3 and you usually kick one when you are fourth down and don't want to risk not making it past the first down line. @@ZoomNotice
@@ZoomNoticethink of Field goals as a consolation prize, you can’t get into the End Zone with all the tries you get, so if you get close enough you can try a kick for 3. The fact they couldn’t get that close should tell you that the Raider Defense was doing its job well, even if they never had the “pick 6” (which is an Interception for a TD) or a “scoop and score” (when the ball comes out, and someone on the defense runs it for a TD”
I've been following this great game from England since the late 80s and never have I seen a team less intense and competitive than the chargers here...they were congratulating raiders defenders for great interceptions and steals for heavens sake...im all for playing the game in the corinthian spirit but that was the most lacklustre show of indifference I've ever seen and I'm not exaggerating...that said some of the raiders offense was poetry in motion, I'd love to see in person action like that diving catch over the line for a td, the guy was horizontal flying into the end zone😊

I feel it's still different when dolphins that was near the first weeks 😂 this is near finals and the chargers can't even do ball coverage. People are saying fire the coach 🤷♂️ more like fire every member that makes millions dropping every pass
May set new records. One is a team that had given up 70 points. The other a team that scored 63 points missing the playoffs
At least the Dolphins faced a team that actually has a shot at the playoffs this season. The Raiders did score 62... but they also gave up 21... against the Chargers. It's not really saying much. At this point, if you don't beat the Chargers, you're playing a different sport.
Glad they brought back pierce as coach this game made me believe in the raiders again they definitely on their way 😊🙏😁
Incredible that the Raiders score 63 4 days after being shutout in that same stadium
They got that force fumble technique down 💯
Vegas had THE PERFORMANCE OF A LIFETIME, MARK DAVIS HAS TO BE IMPRESSED!
Fate.
Still can’t get over Jones’ Pick 6
That pick was one of the greatest interceptions I've ever seen honestly.
crazy i watched this in amazement coming from a niner fan
@@LiamDeege not as raiders fan, or really care about the AFC too much, but yeah... nice pick there.
@@djjoshskiWe should be able to respect good plays no matter who we support
It's like he was in the huddle
Almost had a second team joinn the 70 point club this year. Even more insane is that this time it was a 5-8 team that just got shut out the week before absolutely pasting a divisional rival with the same record...😳. This might not be a game relevant to the season, but statistically, this will be a game to remember.
If Staley is fired this week... You're welcome charger fans. Go #Raiders
Keep Staley!!!!
@@NorthIce22😂
42-0 at half time is INSANE 😭😭
Man, the Chargers score one touchdown and the Raiders D really took it personally.
Yeah they really sat up in their chair after that one.
As a Ravens fan I’m impressed by what the Raiders accomplished tonight 🎉
Go get the Superbowl 🏴☠️
As Rams fan I gotta say our game from last Sunday against Baltimore was very exciting and one hell of game. I'll admit it you guys did real good getting the win in OT. Very impressive. Much props! 👏👏🏈
Nobody asked 🖕🏿
Rooting for Ravens to beat the Chiefs and make the Super Bowl to beat any team that makes it since Lamar is one of my favorite players and even wanted him on the Raiders 💀
As a raiders fan I will say the same about Baltimore! Hope y’all pull thru this year. Rooting for you!
This game sealed Brandon Staley fate as head coach. I’ll be surprised Chargers don’t fire him now but if not they definitely will this offseason.
Just read Staley and the GM got fired
He is now Fired. We all knew that was coming after this Devastating loss.
Fired on a Scorigami
You guys want belicheck? We are having a sale
Wow, what a Crazy season for the Raiders. Zero points last Sunday and then 63 points on a short week on Thursday
What if they were to win out and go 9-8
This most be the most fumbles/takeaways in an NFL game in history!
5 Takeaways for 5 TD’s
What a sweet thing to see my raiders score :’) I know it won’t last but tonight reminded me of the games I used to go in Oakland as a child. Go raiders ! Till the wheels fall off !!!
Why don't you think it would last? The Raiders are a good team.
I was at this game! My first NFL game ever in person. Unforgettable, Raiders aren’t even my team but for the memories they gave me tonight and being my hometown team. I’m definitely a fan 🤙
I am happy that you got to see your first NFL game in person. How old are you, by the way?
Lol
This makes me so happy and so sad for you because you may never see this performance again 😂 (32 year Raider veteran)
Welcome to the Darkside! ☠️ Lol #RN4L
That Jack Jones pick 6 might have been the best read/react int I have ever seen! And I was around to see Deion Sanders entire career! Not saying Jones is Deion but that play was like street smarts meet college degree! 😂
That pick from Jones comes from really studying your opponent. Hats off to him man!
Jack jones with the cleanest pick 6 I’ve ever seen
Raiders defense has been underrated this year and came up massive in this one...and the offense finally exploded the way they always had the potential to do with talent they have. AOC amazing game and looked like he got faster since last Sunday picking receivers and releasing the ball. Most dominating Raiders win I have ever seen.
Their defense has gotten better ever since Antonio Pierce became HC.
AoC had good coverage, great play set up and he threw lightning fast.
The chargers defense has struggled this whole season
The Raiders defense went up against scrubs
I’ll never forget this game or the jack jones interception that was the greatest pick 6 I’ve ever seen
I knew Raiders was going to win but scoring 63 wasn't what I expected...Go Raiders
Roger Goodell declared this win null and void since it was against the Chargers
I don't think any Raiders fan expected this tonight. A win is good, but a total blowout? Wow! Every time they scored another touchdown I was yelling "holy ****".
How do you go from losing 3-0 to scoring 60+ ?? This year makes no sense
It's as if the NFL is scripting events to push higher ratings.🤔
Seriously, do you think anyone would watch the Raiders/Chiefs on Christmas Day if the Raiders came into that game after losing their last 4 games, one of them by a score of 3-0?
From 0 pts last week to 63pts tonight is just crazy! RN4L 🏴☠️
The last Raiders TD reminded me of Jack Squirek in the Super Bowl 40 years ago
That one handed pick was sweet. Also shows bro was paying attention in film study.
63pts ? Who seen this coming? Gotta love the NFL 🔥🔥🔥
Raiders fan since 76 all the ups & downs over the last 40 plus years. I’ve never seen them put on a more dominant performance! Good job Raiders!!! Where has this team been all year ? This could b start of something . Please Mark Davis dont dismantle this team keep coach and team together give them a chance!!! We can’t take another rebuild Raiders 4 life!!!
true! The defense is the making of something special
Well, let's be clear: your team was under *one of, if not the worst coach/GM duo in the history of the NFL.*
Absolutely no way McDaniels could have coached such a dominant game out of his players. Zero chance whatsoever.
Lmfao y’all can’t be Herbert like that trust me
@@madderthanever Found the salty charger fan lol Hold this L
@@WhozaCardoza Wrong guess, Whoza: Steelers fan here.
Which ain't saying much this year... But still leagues better than rooting for the homeless Bolts.
Still, this got to be the first one anyone ever defended McDaniels on... anything, really. Man, that Raiders copium must be something else. 🙄
Who else still coming back to watch this beauty lol
What a bizarre season this is.
More please.
As a Chargers fan, no thanks we about done with this season.... along with half our roster lol
They could have easily put up 70+ but pulled a classy move like Miamis headcoach. I felt sorry for the players. Go #Raiders
Everyone feels sorry for the Raiders, but they never hold back. 😂😂😂 Thank Herbert's injury for this win.
@@gzus1482 It had nothing to do with Herbert being out, it had to do with dominate offensive and defensive play.
@@LiamDeege Well, that and the waterboy greasing all the Chargers players gloves before the game started.
explain to me how the turn overs and complete blown coverages on defenses leaving WR wide open for touchdown passes would have changed if herbert was in? yeah chargers would have scored more. but Runningback fumble, kick return fumble, Sack fumble. from the runningback getting bulldozed trying to block a linebacker that sack fumbled the QB on his blind side.@@gzus1482
@@gzus1482they would’ve won even w/ Herbert in…not by 63 but still lol
I‘m glad Jakob Johnson is back! He had an impact on this game!
Blowout or not, that's gotta go down as one of the best interceptions in NFL history.
Raiders really trying to break every record known in the NFL in two weeks. 🤣
👏👏
The fact that there were no field goals is crazy. Especially with such a high scoring game.
My Raiders finally brought touchdowns to a touchdown fight.
I’m not a football fan, can you explain why they didn’t hit a field goal? I thought it was like mandatory😭 after every touch down.????
I myself have never seen so many fumbles - and turnovers - by the same team, and just in the first quarter.
I hope you can make it out to an NFL UK game someday!
Branden Staley should be fired.
@@dos3622don’t worry he and the GM are. (I’m sure you’ve seen the headlines by now)
Pulling for the Raiders and I've never been a fan of them. They showed just how good they are FINALLY! Much better team than their record shows and got to show that last night.
Grats to the rookie for one of the best offensive performances in Raiders franchise history
