1 and 2 are no longer issues. You have to pause or stop the sound of one device before you can hear the sound on another device or else it won't switch to the other device. Must have been a firmware update. As for 3, yes all studio headphones are over the ear and especially the closed ones will generate heat. There really is no solution for that. But I noticed when I bought velour ear pads for them, it was less hot. But it can still get hot after a long while. Not the ones you would use outdoors in the summer time. But so cozy in the winter.
My personal deal breaker on this headphone is quite different. I was looking for a multi device good sounding headphone, also an all rounder because I go for walk, gym, consistentaly and spend a lot of time on voice chat while gaming. On paper this headphone check all the boxes, and it does. It has great sound quality for its price during walk, gym, watching movies. While making only voice call, the mic is great and connection is good for me. The thing it bugs me, and i spend a lot of time search online for a workaround, is that when you are using bluetooth mode while on Discord, the headphone assumes you are making a voice call. It picks up all the surround sound and play back to you, it is able to turn off by going on the app checking off Sidetone. Although sidetone is off, the "handsfree mode" is engineered differently compare to normal mode, the gaming sound just doesn't sound as good, it will have scratchy sounds. In order to get pass it, you would have to disable the handsfree driver on PC, now you have to use it thru USB connection which totally defuse the purpose of wireless experience.
I am also looking for an all rounded headphone which check all the boxes of day to day use, I know its good for mixing but I'll mostly be using it for casual listening.. My friend has a m30x and he told me that ath headphones are used as reference headphones, mixing mainly and he said that it's better to not get it for listening to music as it offers raw audio, I guess that's what you mean by the "scratchy sound" it gives the authentic audio to the listener which is not that pleasant to listen to. I really like these headphones but this is the reason I'm confused whether I should get it or not..
I bought M20xbt 2 weeks ago go and I had this ears sweat problem from beginning too and return them . I couldn't come to terms with the fact that my ears are itching so much and that the hole for the cable is on the left and not on the right
