I recently picked up my, 2024 F250 Platinum Tremor w/ 7.3. My dealer required a $500 deposit. I had one dealer want a non-refundable $1000 deposit because I ordered mine with carpet delete. I wanted the vinyl floors.
How long did it take for you to get you're truck from the time you ordered it? I just ordered mine on June 9th and is going to be built starting the week of July 15th.
@@polarbear5740Sounds Great! They must be building the upper trim lines now. Order my F450 Limited last Sept 2023, got a build schedule early May and a delivery 2nd week of June, about 9.5 months. Your short build is a lot more tolerable. Best of luck, enjoy the truck! Absolutely get machines other than price.
@@marcochavanne I find no problems with daily driving... I don't always drive it daily, but when I use it for non-towing city driving, it drives great. It's rather big being a dually, but other than large size, no issues driving. I personally find it a luxury feeling rig to drive... very quiet, nice interior, on highway it rides extremely good for a F450, quite smooth, etc. My Wife dislikes rough riding trucks, and she enjoys taking a few trips in this one. The diesel does absolutely great!
Personally I think the black appearance package is way overpriced for the f250 at over $4,000. Also I don’t understand the ultimate package. I would get the platty before adding the ultimate package
He built a platunum with a blackout package. I really considered buying this exact truck. I cannot stand the chrome on the platinum and they wont let me black out my truck. Im going to have to order the blackout items separately.
No he didn't. No massaging seats, no power tailgate with down-camera, lower quality leather on the seats, no LED taillights or projector headlights, etc. Terrible build.
This truck will sell just because you can't get the black out package in the Platinum or King Ranch. Just bought a Lariat 250 Tremor and would have bought a King Ranch Tremor if I could have had the black out or sport appearance package.
The reason y trucks are so expensive is cause all car/truck companies are putting a 25% tariff tax on them. Ford did this cause their Shares or stocks were/are behind 0.5%. I would buy a f350 tremor!! You can put a lot more skid plates on it lol.
No way this person really intended to buy this truck. They were just seeing how many boxes they could check. Short bed with that type tonneau cover, no fifth wheel prep. The staircases look ridiculous. Scales on a F250 without the Fifth wheel prep? Some old man’s wife set him straight on this one😂
If you as a dealer charge a $5k deposit, the buyer is simply gonna go down the street to a dealer that doesn’t require that and you simply lose a sale. The biggest issue here is Fords pricing. $5k for a tailgate step and some switches?!? $4300 to use the exact same trim pieces as any other truck but made of black plastic? Ram is just as guilty wit their “Night Edition” or whatever it is. It’s literally an up charge for something that cost the company zero dollars and may even save them money as molded piano black plastic is likely cheaper than chrome plating plastic.
Heh, that's not the most expensive Tremor you could buy. Back in 2021, there was a Shelby American F-250 Super Baja truck that cost around $125, 805. I got to see it up close at the All American Quarterhorse Congress that year. My spouse wouldn't let me open the checkbook for it. Of course, the rationale part of me couldn't justify that much for a truck back then, but looking at prices now, that would've been easily justifiable if you're spending that kind of money.
Sorry that specific truck is a waste of money. in april 2024 i bought a ram 2500 w a 6-4 hemi crew cab 4x4 for 50 grand after incentives. has 17000 tow cap w the 410 gears this truck in the vid not worth 58 grand over my hemi wagon. nice truck though but u need to make 150 grand a year to stinkin even get a loan on these houses on wheels.
Dealers were marking up vehicles and now they are stuck with the surplus, screw them.
I'll give them $68k. Anymore and I'd be paying too much.

How does it handle daily driving?

AGREED. Platinum all day long. Love the color though. No retractable side steps? WTFO?
Great information , as for price , it depends on what you are willing to spend .
Why don't they offer the black appearance package in the platinum?

@@SliderFury1 Really? I honesty did not know that the Lariat Ultimate did not come with massage seats
@@ffrob2001It should have massage seats, just not as much adjustable bolstering as the platinum has.
Would be better getting preowned Get 10-40% off!?
It's the same color as my truck but I got the 350 no sunroof and they couldn't get the winch
What’s changed on the F250’s that they have 11k gvwr? My 2017 is 10k
I just ordered one and it's a 350 tremor with a 12k gvw package.
In the ft worth area there are 11 trucks that sticker over 110000k, on the dealer lots . They all have the witch
No. 4.30 Locker.
FYI high output is not mandatory for the tremor, you can get the 7.3 as a tremor. “The more you know”
IDK grill looks like an XL, IMO
His options literally pay for my second commuter car (Tiguan).
Is this truck in the United States or Canada?

The two stage side steps - is that new for 2024? How much does Ford charge for that??!!
I agree on the deposit. Gotta have some skin in the game lol.
All that foo-foo crap and no WINCH on the build sheet.
Apparently you can't get the winch here in Canada
dosent even come with a 5th wheel prep package
Wonder how long customer waited and then walked away

I saw one, it SOLD.
I'm thinking there might have been a financial setback that broke the deal.
Those aren't power deployable running boards, though... They are the Tremor running boards.
Mmm...my 2024 Lariat F-350 TREMOR has the power running boards (factory)...
You can't get a platinum in a black out package
All those features come standard with a platinum lol. I honestly wouldn’t spend more then $85k for a Lariat nowadays
Offer the dealer 5K below invoice if it isn't sold by the time the 2025's hit the lot.
Nope. They left off the $550 goose neck package.
I would have denied the persons build simply because all those options were added to a f250. F350 holds way better value and is easier to sell.
Such a terrible build 😂 could have built a 350 platinum with most of the same options for the same price
