For those watching this for instal direction, he failed to mention the torque spec for the long, lower clamp bolt. It's 45nm. Hope that helps anyone wondering.
I’ve got my bike in for the Tekniksport front and rear suspension overhaul. Am taking your advice and getting this unit for sure. Will wait for the wheels to explode before buying new ones…maybe. Another great video dude.
I have the same pipe/decat and even the same stabilizer , but I put on the Muller red with the +20mm - so that means you sir have amazing taste! The only other performance mod Im going to do is the Tractive rear shock because with gear and my weight the stock is too soft off-road - it was amazing how much weight I shed with the decat- it was like a thanksgiving turkey
Are there other companies besides Muller that make the bracketing for the Scotts? If so who else did you consider? Might be purchasing a DDX soon and doing all my research. Enjoying your channel!
I was wondering about the stock stabilizer. Now I know there not so good. I like the new Muller but having to remove more parts to get the tank off is a pain. (I know I am whining) But things like this seem to bring out the procrastination. So, the air cleaner might get passed over now and again. Thx for the video.
@ianf2012 you have to atleast remove the bottom bracket as it covers the front tank bolt. Its just easier to remove 2 more bolts to get it fully out of the way.

Thanks, let me know how you go with the suspension im looking at doing that before another big trip next year 👍🐨
I'm using the Savage steering stabilizer along with the Muller Motorsports brackets. Works great, much better than the stock fly-screen door damper.

They definitely work well, nice with the suspension 👌 Im doing that mid year before my next big trip.
Excellent video, much appreciated. Good thing the tool broke instead of that bolt😅.
Haha yeah ive definitely had enough broken bolts.
Great Video's... my only question is do you like the handlebars being taller or would you have them the same height?
I dont notice any difference as it's only a few millimetres.
🔥🔥🔥👌
Great video! What is the service interval of this dampener?
Thanks, Scotts dont really list service intervals for these. If your giving it a hiding, prob best to change the oil at least once a year.

Thanks for that, There is one by Vanasche motorsports, but I liked the build of the Muller one better.

Yeah this is much better. Its not really removing more parts to get the tank off, just a slightly different way with this Stabiliser.
@@koalakoncepts Oh cool bird also.
@rollyman3754 hahah yeah King Parrots are pretty friendly.
Hmmm, think you could get the tank off with the Scotts in place??
