This an absolutely fantastic motorcycle. I have a 2023 original and it's the first ADV bike I could ride out of the box. I've ridden over 90k miles in 3 continents and this bike blows all it's competition out of the water. It's comfortable, simple and the different ride modes are well thought out and work! Ducati put a great suspension on it without succumbing to electronic suspension frivolity. If it's not there, it can't break. One minor feedback is I ride in lots of Vermont goo and have yet to have any issues with the lower mudguard. I also run the Scorpion rally tires which shed mud really well so maybe that helps. Thanks AMS Ducati for making this video....much appreciated. One thing to point out is you can adjust the rear brake lever height as well on the regular DesertX.
I own a multi enduro 2018 , but I’m toying with the idea of getting a desertx, I do a lot of touring with my friends but love going off road, my multi is too heavy for where I want to go off road . Great video from uk 🏴
Hey Mate, Great video. A couple fo quick questions - 1. The suspension on the Rally version - is it more stiffer or softer than the base? i've read somewhere it is more softer than the base but doesn't make sense to me. 2. For 2 up plus luggage - does the base version sag down too much with luggage on it? is the rally version better for 2 Up with luggage as a RTW bike? 3. how is the road going characterstics of the rally compared to the Base?
@@AMSDucatiDallas i did that and i was told it was due to the front tyre and once it wears down the vibration will go. I just laughed and walked away shaking my head
“Rally Spec” 250mm front suspension travel, so many adventure bikes are faster than their suspension. Heavy, powerful bikes need decent suspension, 48mm & 270mm travel minimum.

Have they moved or sorted the air box problem??❤❤🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Air box has not changed since the bike has launched. 🤷♂️
Great video
Excellent! Was hoping to hear the Rallys song.
Rally song is the same as the DesertX song with the full termi which can be heard here ruclips.net/video/SbrT4PjjqmE/видео.html
Awesome! Thanks for the video. ’ sent you guys an email yesterday for a desert x rally quote :😊
Is that the water pump totally exposed on left side of engine rally version?

Me just buy a Desert X Delivery 2 Weeks? From Italy Bike Center in Arboga Sweden 😁
Good choice!
I’m worried if I get this I won’t ride my Pikes Peak as much…. Hmm.
I have the Rally and get an awful vibration through the seat especially at the crotch, that bad i cant ride it for long.
Take it into your authorized Ducati service center to check it out!
