1. Listen to music for inspiration. 2. Record yourself singing any idea that comes to mind for 15min straight (use your smartphone, make shorter files, don't record the whole 15min in one take). 3. Transcribe / write down your recording on staff paper and rework it (add or throw away things to make better sense). 4. Write a draft with music notation software. Maybe refine it again. 5. Print and play your music. 6. Take your pencil and mark any changes you want to make (slurs, dynamics, etc..). 7. Repeat steps 4-6 as often as you like. 8. Have fun! Thank you for the video.
