Thanks for featuring this beauty Ethan, I knew you'd be touring it soon, one of my favourites. There's another (+-)4km from here on approximately 10 acres, but they left it standing and renovated the interior. Probably would cost a fortune to restore and that roof is not good in snowy climates, and neither historic or architecturally significant enough could be argued. The houses with character and charm are slowly vanishing, and I can hear the sightseeing tour bus guides saying, "And the next mausoleum on our right," as they drive through these neigbourhoods. Awesome awesome find! It totally gave me a cross between “Family Affair” and “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father” vibes. (Two great sitcoms from the late 60s)
If I could give this 5 stars, I would. Amazingly Beautiful, and that RRoyce.. exceptional find! And I totally agree with you 💯, I've seen some beautiful homes along the way, but this hits right up with the $40,000,000 home. Thank you Ethan, this was Gorgeous!
Wow, one of my top 5 favorite house that you have done, amazing layout! This house must have been the most modern contemporary home back in the 60’s and seventies , truly California style modern. Once again, what a sad shame that they will tear down this , no one will probably ever find another unique modern layout like this , glad someone like has the sense and the nerve to at least preserve it on video so many will be able to see it for years to come. Thanks for all of your hard work Ethan! . ( I hope they done forget the Rolls and the truck in the garage 😧😧😬😬😬)
No shame tearing down something this dated. They probably tried to sell it for 16 MILLION.... like our tour guide claims.... and then when they didn't even get an offer in the $160,000 price range.... what else mcould they do with it but junk the clunker?
@Frank Farago There's always shame in tearing down a building that is representative of a certain time period and architectural style, especially if it's custom built with a one of a kind floor plan and was designed by a well known and respected architect. The automotive reference "junk the clunker" doesn't apply because "clunker" refers to something that's decrepit and falling apart and this house appears to be in immaculate condition.
Houses like this are inevitably torn down. Do you know why? They are made of very cheap materials and they highlighted all of the advanced electronics of the day like an in-home intercom system. Nobody wants that in their house today it’s dated crap
@@chrisk920 not to everyone, if that were the case , Ethan Minnie himself would call it crap, and probably wouldn’t even bother to have a RUclips channel looking at old houses. He’s young , yet he’s appreciative of classic buildings and design, and doesn’t want it to be torn down either. Everyone love a new contemporary palace , even me. But someone doesn’t and would love to live in one of these classics. I guess you don’t appreciate old cars or anything else old , either. And “ dated crap “ usually is built better than most new builds these days.

Ethan, this is my most favorite house that I have seen you explore. I've been watching your videos for the last two and a half years. This is definitely my dream home. Such a bummer that a place like this is going to be demolished.
Aww Ethan, you're never annoying! My parent built a house, started in 1956 and probably finished in 1961, we had built in bookshelves in the living room, and built-in closets and dresser drawers in the bedrooms, cuts down on furniture needed. Yeah, I'd live in this house, but the wall frieze in the entry way gots to go, I don't care for human statuary lol. Great video, and love your enthusiasm!
Ethan, do you ever get scared exploring these homes on your own? I keep expecting someone to jump out from behind a door or something! Love your videos by the way 😊

my heart is broken that such beauty will be torn down!! I am also in awe at the details in the flooring and all of the gorgeous brick work throughout. I hope the formal living room sculpture is saved!!
It should be on a historic register that would ensure it would be preserved! Doesn't Canada have something like that? I watch a few abandoned video like this and this video blows all others away! Your emotion was warranted. I had a vision that maybe, somehow, this video would prevent this house from being destroyed? If there is a connection to the wall sculpture and art in the subway? Hopefully someone sees this and intervenes. I can't say "great job" enough!
WOW!! I love this house! You have been to some amazing places but this has got to be my favorite. From the time you walked into the first room to the very last frame I was mesmerized. Love this one Ethan! It is gorgeous 😍 and it's got so much personality. If I were super rich I would buy a huge older house as well although I prefer the 60s and 70s 🙂
Wow. Just wow. *You've ruined my dreams permanently. *This home is absolutely pristine. Not a spot of decay, a spore of mold, a drop of water, a speck of dust. Not a single crack in any wall, not a smudge or fingerprint anywhere to be seen. *The woodwork alone in this home is worth a fortune. The cabinetry is all teak. The doors are all walnut. The paneling is rosewood, for crying out loud! * A property like this deserves to be landmarked and preserved. Homes of this era are so full of character and craftsmanship from an era that we won't ever see again. *This home has probably been occupied by the family the built it. I would guess that the replacement home is for the current owner. Property owners in many North Toronto neighborhoods tend to rebuild or remodel rather than move out, that being so in Leaside and Bennington Heights....i presume the same holds true for the neighborhoods off of Bayview north of Eglinton. *I'd be cautious about going inside that property again, Ethan. That security system is still very much on and active. I wouldn't be surprised if it is monitored 24/7 via discreet video surveillance....the presence of that Rolls in the garage would have sent me flying from that property like a bat out of hell. Please be cautious. Thanks again for ruining my dream....and keep up the incredible work, eh?

What a really cool house, I can’t believe it’s being demolished. I sure hope some things are salvaged before they take it down! I would love to have this house!! ❤
Love it! Great find, Ethan! Your enthusiasm is contagious...thank you!
John from Edmonton Alberta! Hi Ethan👋 You just found your dream house plans! Memorize everything! Thank you for showing us!
What an amazing find!! 🤯 I’d be so scared to explore by myself!🙈
@@francoamerican4632 exactly, I agree …
@@chrisk920 not to everyone, if that were the case , Ethan Minnie himself would call it crap, and probably wouldn’t even bother to have a RUclips channel looking at old houses. He’s young , yet he’s appreciative of classic buildings and design, and doesn’t want it to be torn down either. Everyone love a new contemporary palace , even me. But someone doesn’t and would love to live in one of these classics. I guess you don’t appreciate old cars or anything else old , either. And “ dated crap “ usually is built better than most new builds these days.
Your excitement had me smiling the whole way through. This home would be my dream home, too. It's got the sunken living that my husband would love and the multi-living spaces that I would love for parties. It's a dream home!
Love this one Ethan! Beautiful mid century modern. Top quality you never find in todays homes. Great find! 😊
Great adventure Ethan, what an amazing find! I dig your vibe! Peace from V.A. ✌
Most beautiful and amazing home. I love this era! Love all the brick in this interior home. Thanks Ethan!
I watch all your videos and I think this is the most beautiful house you ever toured. I'm an interior decorator and love these homes you show us. My mind comes alive on what I would do with the homes if I had a chance to design them. Thank you for your videos. ❤
I wish someone would step in and preserve this home, it is such a shame it will be torn down and replaced with some crapy new construction. I love the sixties and seventies retro look. Great video!
I don’t get bored watching your videos. Some others show drone footage but stay too long, showing the same thing. You do it perfectly. Don’t change please.😊
That home was absolutely gorgeous. I just love the layout of this home. ❤❤❤❤
Wonderful adventure 💙💙💙💙
Thank you Ethan for showing us this gorgeous home. Stay safe and I look forward to the next adventure 💙💙💙💙
Why is this being tore down?
This house is gorgeous as it stands.
to rebuild a new home unfortunately
Once again the Academy Award for Urban Exploring goes to Ethan Minnie for this very unique and exquisite find in Toronto. You never disappoint Ethan, keep up with these cool video's!
What the what??!! Idk how I missed this one but Oh. My. Goodness!! This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen...hands down my favorite ever. Love everything about it, from the front entrance to the sunken living room (beautiful sky lights😮) to the pool, the kitchen, the interior brick walls, the Rolls! I’m literally screaming with delight! I would give everything I will ever own to live in this house.
Oh my God,what a neat and super cozy retro house with the right time decor that I love all the way, hard to belive that it will soon be demolished,so sad. This house is perfect in every sence of the word, would love to live there.I hope they salvage as much they can of the house decor before demolition.
Ethan Minnie-take care and thanks for finding this dream retro house and shooting it before it's gone, what a big shame and a waste.Have a nice weekend.
Ethan, this is my most favorite house that I have seen you explore. I've been watching your videos for the last two and a half years. This is definitely my dream home. Such a bummer that a place like this is going to be demolished.
So sad that home is going to be knocked down. Truly amazing. I got so much fun seeing you so excited Ethan. Loves from Australia.
Wow this is such a beautiful home. Man if I could I would buy that place and move in. 💜💜
Love your videos by the way 😊
Was wondering the same thing
Sweet Ethan! I'm in aww. Daugherty WPB FLORIDA
Wow Ethan I love this house and thank you for sharing it with us ❤️ Sad that no one is living here 😃Another great video 👍And the power is still on 😳
this is incredible… i will never understand how homes like this can be demolished
i don’t even want to know what the house they build in its place will look like
Ugly home with massive garage in the front. Modern garage home.
I’ve been following you for over two years now. You surprise me with each house you go through. I can’t remember how many times I say are my favorite places . Each one I see I want. Wish I someone who was rich enough to buy something as beautiful. Thanks for your work. AMAZING ❤
my heart is broken that such beauty will be torn down!!
If I lived in this house I would never leave. I can't believe someone isn't coming back for the vehicles. It was great to see you speechless and excited. Great find! Thanks, Ethan
What a beauty Ethan. Really nice. Sucks it's going for demolition. What a waste. Really do love your excitement and enthusiasm, it's cute. They better be removing stuff before it goes. Can't believe there's a Rolls in the garage. I prefer Jaguars myself.
Yo E epic house have to agree that style and age house over any of the new style homes that have no character. Thank you for your time and effort the quality of your channel reflects as much love from central Florida
Spectacular home!! 🤩💖 Every bit of it looks amazing! And wow those kitchen cabinets are incredibly beautiful! The whole house looked like it was in impeccable condition! I'm with you on that, if I won the lottery, this type of home would be my absolute first choice no doubt!!🤘✌️
WOW....!! Yes I agree, this is the most beautiful house I've ever seen too. It's perfect. I'm going to save this video and share it with my family. I'm sorry to hear that the people who lived here has passed away. It is sad that it's going to be demolished. It probably already has. Thank you Ethan for sharing this video with us. Love it !!
Thank you for bringing this forward Ethan. Probably in the top two in my book.
Another great find beautiful house it's a shame that it is going to be demolished thanks for sharing it keep up the good work
What's up Ethan?!! What a beautiful house .. very modernish house and well kept. I just loved that wild sink with the yellow bathtub and sink. Was definitely not harvest gold. The bedrooms were a nice size but the master bedroom was massive. Pool was nice but I think the pool you found in one of your previous houses was nicer. Now for the car and the truck ... I think they may belong to the developer? Truck is too new and the RR might be a toy of his? Who knows?? Lol. Tfs!!
"It smells like rich people and old house" hahahah
That really is a really well built house... I would love to get a hold of that one...
They did a good job on it..
It was adorable to see how giddy you were over this one... I could tell you really liked this house..
One of my favorite homes you’ve done. I love the layout and the condition it was in ❤❤
ETHANE!!! This was absolutely amazing. I’d give anything to see it in person. It’s just yeah, a loss for words!!
This is my favorite explore of yours. Stunning, amazing, spectacular! I love seeing u so excited. Much luv.
WOW!! This is such a spectacular home. What a Beauty. I could live in that right now as is. It is a total shame it will be torn down for a mcmansion. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Just a shame..😔
Whoa what a beautiful house👍 it's huge and what will become of the tow vehicles if the place is demolished what a mess very nice vidéo✌️ it's cool to close the cupboards👍 bravo Ethan awesome the swimming pool 👍👋👋👋👋
Ethan, all I can say is Holy Moly. Oh my goodness, what a place, incredible 👏
Excellent job 👍
Ethan,
This Mansion is appsultly beautiful! I can understand as to why you were so ecstatic about this place.
Loved all the artifacts that can never be replaced such as the gold Egyptian plaques on the wall, and the whole Mansion has been carefully planned out.
To bad this Mansion has to be tourn down. Hope they get those expensive cars out of the garage before they demolition the Mansion.
Excellent Exploring tour.
Love your Podcast.
And thank you so much!
Have a wonderful holiday!
Unbelievable!!!!!! I am in awe that anyone would move out of such luxury. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Ethan this home is beautiful love it. I think this one is my favorite it’s not trashed like most of them are it’s perfect and a shame that it will be torn down. And that car and truck wow. Thank you for sharing have a great day 😊
Ethan Minnie 🔥 I absolutely enjoy seeing your videos and I must say, the houses you show are beautiful, but this one has got to be the bestest to date 👌👍🔥love your accent too 👌 👍 thank you for showing and sharing 🔥 look forward to more of your finds
That house is move-in ready. It's unbelievable that it's being demolished. So sad. This house is one of my favorites.
Absolutely incredible property. Thank you for the amazing video.
WHY DEMOLISH IT. IT'S STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE THE POOL AREA, ALL THE WOOD WORK. YEAH IT NEEDS A BIT OF AN UPDATE BUT IT'S STILL GORGEOUS.!!!!
Love this one Ethan! It is gorgeous 😍 and it's got so much personality. If I were super rich I would buy a huge older house as well although I prefer the 60s and 70s 🙂
Real cool dude, love their old charm in those houses... don't get it today🤔 keep the good work up.👍
I would buy and live there with no changes. I love the built ins! Dude, amazing house. If I had that house I would never leave!
Beautiful House! THANK for the amazing video 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍I do appreciate it.🌻😊
Your enthusiasm is fabulous! Keep doing what you do! Love it!
Wow.
Really beautiful home. Ethan, i love your enthusiasm and love for this home. I too love this, my style for sure. What a shame that its been demolished. As C E commented, we are such a throw away society, what a shame. Very sad. Thanks Ethan for taking us along.
I want this house!!!! I don’t want to see it torn down! That Rolls is so crazy! The house is a bit of a maze, but still love it.. nice explore. Take care!
Another beautiful house that should not be torn down. It's such a shame developers are so greedy that all they care about is money instead of preserving these gorgeous homes. I wish I could afford to buy that house and keep it as is. Also loved the Rolls Royce!
All developers are not greedy and you don’t need a developer for this property. There is a saying in real estate there is an ass for every seat, but who in gods name would want to move into the Brady Bunch house. It’s cool to look at but would you pay millions to live in it? I don’t think so
Absolutely stunning! I was as awestruck as you were.I loved your description of the closet as rich smelling. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Thanks 😊 hey Ethan love all your videos keep them coming stay safe god bless
That house was absolutely gorgeous. Too bad they're going to demolish it. Who ever left that Rolls Royce behind was crazy. Awesome video 👍☺️
The original owners have passed. Car my guess belongs to new owner. Dont think anyone is leaving behind a 500k Rolls to just be taken.
I’m married and I have six kids and living there and everyone having their own space in that house would be AMAZING! Great find!
wow, just wow, and to think its going to be destroyed. great video and great find
Hi 👋" Ethan ' 🤗 Another Killer upload like always 💯 you know it's going to be nothing but the best 💯 When Ethan is on RUclips 🙌 Lot's of love from San Antonio Texas 🥰🥰 That Mansion Exploration was breath taking ❤️
I absolutely love this house. If I could choose one home to live in for the rest of my life this would be it.
Would love to see it again when it's daylight; difficult for me to fully imagine the layout bc it's so dark. Still enjoyed it, tho. Really cool place, thanks for the upload, Ethan ✌️💕
That is definitely my favorite kind of house too- my absolute DREAM house. Gagging through the whole tour, we should go in on it together! 🥰👍🏼🎀
OMG!your video just started, and I see that gorgeous wood work...just wanna cry!!!thanks for your great videos!
