- Sud Italia is an iconic food truck at Spitalfields Market, one of London’s busiest markets. Silvestro opened the pizza truck in 2015 and, after driving his truck to food markets around the city, he eventually decided to settle in Spitalfields. From then, the truck has become a London institution, and a way for Italians living abroad like me to instantly feel at home. In this video, Silvestro shares his story with us about how Sud Italia came about.

My go to place for pizza in London has been Santa Maria in Ealing since I moved to London in 2010. An Italian friend of mine took me there originally, and we still go from time to time :)

The cooked pizza needs to be the thumbnail! I’ve never had Neapolitan pizza but I’ve read it tends to be undercooked in the middle? I wonder if that’s true.
So delicious, I could tell from the dough it was going to be so tasty!
Milwaukee has a couple of awesome pizza restaurants that started out of food trucks...one is Wy'east, the other is Flour Girl and Flame.
Flour Girl and Flame still does remote work, including a weekly farm pizza in the summer. They have beehives on the roof of their restaurant...they make their own hot honey to drizzle on their pizzas.

That's cool I wouldn't have thought UK would allow a real pizza oven in a vehicle. But I guess since they left the EU they're not held to the extensive rules and laws anymore
