Tahir: "Although I have never heard of this food, and have never seen it before, and have never tasted it before, I will tell you the correct way to eat it, the proper time of day for consumption, and all of it's medicinal benefits."
Who cuts an already cut PB&J sandwich? Or dunks it in tea? No ... and ... NO!
Y U do dis?? ;)
And, yes, definitely drink water (or something) to wash it down. Otherwise you get sticky peanut butter throat. (Perhaps less so with the jam than with just plain peanut butter toast... But still, even then sometimes, if there's too much PB & not enough J.)
Tahir is fussy of how he eats the food. Tea, coffee, fruit juice or water.
Mamma Mia 🤦♀️🙏🤷♀️
he's my favourite, love all his health advice! :-)
He’s the self-appointed international food mansplainer. He deserves a business card that warns people!
@@MGmirkin Im an Australian And I can tell you Its not unusual for a Australian to dunk a piece if bread into the coffee or tea I've done it many times.
Yep, milk would have been way better than grape juice
I'm from the UK and wondering what makes milk go better with PB &J?
Milk would definitely be better, but I don't think they have much of a dairy industry where they are. Could also be that lactose intolerance is very common where they are as well.
@@jaydaniel2145 for me it's a pairing thing , the milk loosens the peanut butter without overwhelming the flavor of the sandwich. It's kind of like getting the right wine
Exactly what I was thinking. That's how I give it to my kids.
Definitely would have been better with milk it blends together so well juice is ALRIGHT. But milk is always a go to with a pb&j
Anyone else find Chaudhry adorable with his expressions? He’s like the Uncle that likes all of the sweets!

@linebrunelle1004 right, but I commented on this 2 years ago when it was just becoming popular. Also, I had only seen a couple of videos from this channel the day I commented. That's why/how I was able to develop an opinion on his mannerisms. 🤗

But there's a time and a place for those conversations, and this ... isn't it.)
@@lisahinton9682 I applaud your freedom of speech..be true to you💯
I sympathise with you. Several of my family members have depression. I've noticed they're all extremely kind people. I also come to the conclusion after speaking to them that depression is most likely caused by people being alone with their thoughts for extended periods of time, such that it causes an endless loop of negative thoughts/stress. In other words, overthinking. I think it explains why depression rates are so much higher in developed countries than in developing ones. After all, people in developed countries tend to have more time alone to themselves and are less likely to be living in lively households that would keep them busy. To cut a long story short, I'd personally recommend spending a lot of time chatting and spending time with family and friends. It'll help immensely by keeping you preoccupied such that you keep away from negative thoughts. You could even try prayer - or meditation if you're not religious! Spirituality and a busy family life seem to be doing wonders for my grandmother, who used to have crippling depression! Exercise is also great because it helps increase your dopamine levels. Anyway, all the best 😃
@@beastvader I meditate and everything..sometimes it’s an organization and the stress from it which leads to such circumstances (isolation, ostracized and overseas). I’ll leave it at that #salute #beblessed

Ah how I enjoy watching these videos. So nice to see real people experiencing something so foreign and completely enjoying it.
I live in Peoria Illinois, about 3 hours from Chicago, We call it central Illinois. And I always drink milk with my pb&j sandwich, and the bread is never toasted. Some people use white bread, but I always use wheat bread. Never heard of drinking grape juice with a pb&j sandwich, and I am 60 years old.
I think white bread is cheaper option. Same as in my country Malaysia. We also used toast bread for breakfast , it's crispy. Instead of Peanut butter, we used coconut+egg jam called Kaya and drink with Milk tea or black tea
I've never used PB&J with wheat bread and I'm 29. I might try it though.
Pekin here - 59 - never heard of grape juice with PB&J - milk only.
Well, grape juice is, I think, pretty common to serve to kids in the US with like snacks or meals. Kinda' like apple juice, or orange juice...
True, milk is also common. But we do drink a lot of fruit juice, as kids. ;)
You might also try PB&J on a very light sourdough. An interesting way to mix it up. Not like super-sour dough, just one of the slightly-sour doughs. It's pretty good contrast with the savoury/sweet of the PB&J...
I'm also in Peoria, and milk is the go-to drink to accompany PB&J!
It is very interesting how they tend to relate food with health. In the west most people don't think this way and that is why we are dying of obesity and heart disease.
Mostly 'cause we're just eating way too much processed sugar & fat... And more sedentary, vs. folks who eat less, more rustic food, and actually do *work* [burn food/calories] (manual labor, farming, etc.)...
that has way more to do with lack of exercise and manual labor as well as using cars to get around then feet
@@MGmirkin take a look at some of the channels that deal with food from pioneer or medieval times. food was much more unhealthy then if you consider salt, sugar, fat content etc.
Preach!
@@toomanyaccounts We eat way more often these days, we snack constantly, in those times they wouldnt have. We have more health issues than ever before, from cancers to Alzhiemier virtually all of it stems from our diets.
Chaudhary and Sher Khan are my 2 favorites but I love you all! Chaudhary is so expressive with his face! Sher Khan seems so happy to try anything. The lady is a sweetheart. Tahir he is so funny with his "medical advice." I can't remember the other guys name but he seems pretty chill. Love these videos!
Brilliant move pairing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with grape juice. The lovely lady who said westerners eat light food while she held a sandwich in one hand and juice in the other hand perfectly represents my own way of eating peanut butter and jelly. I love these videos.
I was just in the hospital for a week and you guys saved my sanity, thank you so much!
Happy Recovery Mate. Hope you get to enjoy PB&J sanwiches soon!
Be well!
"Westerner want to keep themselves healthy and fit so they do not eat heavy food" LOL, yeah right!
If they knew how poor Americans health was, they'd laugh at us.
I'm always impressed how they remember the English words for stuff after hearing it once. I can't hear something once and remember. And I'm bilingual so it's not like I don't have language skills, but theirs seems way better.
I was surprised to hear them say the grape juice was sour as I’d really expected them to say it was too sweet!! I love these videos!!!
Tahir is the Cliff Clavin of the Tribal people.
For a second I thought you meant Norm (been a while...), but Cliff, yeah, I can see it. ;)
He even looks like a darker version of Cliff.

Oh my gosh, YES!! 🤣
My comment from a couple weeks ago.
Everything will either give you a cough, or cure a cough. LOL
I love these outcomes of the first time trying things . These people are so simple and enjoy the things Americans would take for granted. My husband thinks the peanut butter and jelly is a treat as I am a gourmet chef.
I love these videos. Everything is a treat for them, much like it was for me growing up
