I used to be afraid to try out watercolours because they tend to not be as precise as my other drawing that I've done in coloured pencil. But after seeing a few paintings at my local art gallery that is done in watercolour, I've had fallen in love with it. I'm still a newbie and there's still yet more to learn. I love drawing my OC's and do fanart for games and shows that I like.

What a wonderful new world....I spent 20 years with acrylics. I always thought of learning to watercolor but thought it would take more talent than I had. I realize that with proper instructions it may be doable. I know it will take time and effort but it will be worth it. Thank you 💖

Anyone can "do art." Almost anyone can play music, also (very few people are tone deaf). With music, I spent at least 10 years practicing before a became an "instant success." As a kid, you're not troubled that you're terrible.
Until a few months ago, I used to think that I can't draw stick figures. It turns-out that while drawing and painting "come naturally" to a few people, it's ABSOLUTELY something that anyone can learn. I took/take classes. It's really about "learning to see." You're ultimately just making marks on a piece of paper/canvas. It. Is. Not. Hard. I'm so annoyed that I let this stupid idea hold me back for so many years. Take a class! It's a great way to zone-out and relax.
If you keep practicing and have a good to go attitude, you can do well. Some people are just better than others, but anyone can draw/paint with enough motivation

Hello! I have been wanting a watercolor palette for a long time, and I the thing I enjoy most about painting is the fact that art, in general, helps me escape reality for a moment and I get 'drunk' in my own little world. It heals me, it is therapeutic. I am grateful that art exists in our world!!!
What I really like to paint are everyday breathers. Things that give off a heartwarming feeling. For example, coffee, cafés, rain, books, plants, and the like. :) I just find looking at them so calming.
What I enjoy about painting and drawing the most is that there are no boundaries or limits to it. You can get as creative as you want. Another reason is because it makes me feel relaxed and calm if I'm feeling anxious or stressed. Thank you for this giveaway! I love your channel so much! When I was young I used to paint and draw a lot, but when I went to high school I stopped for a while. Last year I started to draw again but just 2 weeks ago I was at a shop and bought some paint tubes and a canvas to paint, and now I ask myself why I ever stopped.
Painting is so relaxing and free, I can paint and draw what comes in my mind and love to learn. The things I would like the most to learn to paint are flowers and landscape.

Hi Mako! I just borrowed my friends watercolours and we painted together, I love to paint autumn. I love the colours and the whole season in general. I can't believe how much I have fallen in love with watercolour. It helps me let go of perfectionism.
i like painting in watercolour at home. It is an easy way to express how i feel through colours. I don't particularly like to paint certain things but sometimes, i just start stroking my brush and it creates something beautiful, as my imagination takes over and creates something out of nothing
I really admire when someone can create beautiful art, so I decided that I can too! I like the way colors can blend to create an image, and when you look at that image it makes you feel a certain way.
...I watched her every step of the way, and it still looks like magic the way it suddenly goes from 'blobs of color in the corners' to 'underwater scene' before she even adds the animals!
I used to paint, and then life took a turn for the worse... I am now ready to go again but have no supplies as i lost them all in my circumstances. I love your video as it helps me to know what I need to get started. I love painting, drawing and creating art because it is really relaxing. While I'm painting i forget everything around me and for me it's like reading a wonderful book- what i also enjoy really much- but painting is a bit better because i don't just read a story i create them with my pencil or brush by my own... yeah that's why art is so special to me.

What I like most about painting and drawing is that it is so relaxing.When i'm working on projects it's like i'm lost in my own world of creativity. Doing art is not just for fun but also to make memories to cherish your whole life.
Flowers and wild nature are my subjects of interest. Letting go and being okay with imperfection -- what wonderful and fun therapy!
I enjoy painting with watercolour so much because it is really peaceful. You can just let your thoughts flow onto the paper. It is like I entered an alternate reality.

Hi ❤ my name is Maria. Since I was little I liked to draw and paint. I've never been very good at it but I've always tried. Until today, every day I try to make the most of it because painting (and drawing) is one of the most beautiful things in the world, it is a unique way of expressing myself with the world.
There are things that words can not say. So I draw and paint everything from the bottom of my heart. From sharks wearing skirts to the manga characters I read yesterday. I still have a lot to learn but I will not give up! ❤
I think one of my favourite things to paint is nature, especially backdrops such as sunsets and the ocean or rivers. Flowers are great too, because there are no limits to the colours and techniques you can use, and more often than not I end up creating a new breed of flower entirely! That's another thing I love, there are no mistakes in art, and I have the complete freedom and control over what I create!

I have a few friends of mine who can paint and we always share our thoughts together. Also, painting helps me express my feelings. I've seen other watercolor videos and this is by far one of my favorites, I liked watching the techniques discussed being put to use, you made it sound so simple which inspires me bc I tried watercolor once but I wasn't any good
What I like most about watercolor painting is that it has a mind of its own. I used acrylics for 40 years doing murals. When I got older and couldn't climb ladders and scaffolds, I retired and, since my knees are bad, can't do the ping pong and shopping. So this is an amazing journey. I never did watercolors since a child when you colored in a book and stayed in the lines. I'm amazed at the artists and videos and the whole watercolor challenge. I'm hooked!
I luv painting butterflies.....what makes me love ❤ this is how I can experiment with different colours and blend them together.....Making a bunch of flowers 💐 and flattering butterflies is always fun
This was so helpful. I'm an artist but I can't find proper paints or desired paints. I love doing canvas art and I do a lot of paper work using paints and watercolors both.My uncle does oil painting which I'm learning too but I need a lot more practice for oil painting as its very difficult

I love painting oceans. when I paint I love mixing blues,greens and teal together while using a sponge to give it texture. I also like making flowers out of shells and hot gluing it the my paintings!
i love love painting using watercolors. but the thing is i'm not gifted with the talent. so i need to look at examples especially video examples/tutorials like yours. i still paint horribly and i would love to improve.
i like the tissue paper technique to create patterns as you've shown here and in the how to make a bookmark video. hopefully my love for watercolor arts is deep enough so i won't give up :)

And I love painting galaxies, underwater, sunsets/sunrises, nature and other things, but my family doesn't have enough money to buy things for me, so I try and earn money from my neighbours by doing chores and things while my parents pay off the debt and stuff like that. The only thing I can actually draw without looking like.... well you know... Is mmm.. who is it that called... Like fruit and a jar with flowers, and that kind of drawings.
But I would love to try something more abstract, so the chances to make that look great are quite higher :) I've always been better at painting than actually drawing, but still... xD I need practice... I love art because it gives me a chance to relax and just escape from stress that I get from school. I just love how art is so beautiful and mesmerizing. I'd love to win the giveaway, because I love art and drawing because it simply make me happy, on days where I only have bad thoughts, I try to draw anything, dosen't matter what it is. I am relax and not thinking negative anymore.personally I like to paint places and draw animals or people, both detailed or simple. Every Wednesday I'm at art school, right now I paint a picture of a forest and a phrase I usually say to myself if I am depressed, if art had been so important to me, I had been a completely different person. That is why art is so important to me. Art and drawing is a big part of my life, and I hope that it is grow up.. That's way I enjoy painting and drawing so much as I do.

What I love painting the most is indeed the ocean, ando also the sky. Blue it's my favourite colour and it brings me peace. Thanks for this video. It will help me so much because I love watercolour but Im a beginner.

I just recently discovered the joy and possibilities of painting with brush and colours (I used to draw only with a pencil). I think drawing flowers is so much fun, because there are many ways to draw them and it's really easy. But I also like painting abstract patterns. I would be really happy to get that watercolour set, because I'm very impressed by your technics and want to try them myself!
honestly, I just love to paint emotions of animals. I read "drawing with the right side of the brain" and it changed my life so much. Since my love for animals and reading this book I usually paint what i would see as an animal or the beauty of being a creature. Then I read "The brilliant history of color in art" and "Big Magic" and now I paint the first escence I see anywhere at whatever time.
