Everyone plays there own plant is completely not there xD Always showman

YES SIR
@Chris Manzi That being said the majority would probably rather see a reunion with Led Zeppelin than those two individuals that you mention although I do appreciate Jeff Beck especially with Johnny Depp doing a John Lennon cover isolation that’s a cool Cover song from Jeff back
@Chris Manzi So mean, unfair, shabby, indiscreet, disrespectful, try to be 1/10,000 of what it was even high. Shame on you, little sir.
Everyone was into the Beatles including me. 1963. I was 13. Then came LZ. Never looked back
I was eleven in 63 grace but have followed the same journey.
Page was a young session player on A Hard Day's Night.

I was there. Robert as hot and on as ever. Jimmy never sounded better. Transported me to the time when Zep ruled the world. Will never stop being a fan, ever.💙🪶
Фантастика! Великолепный блюз! Роберт браво 👋👋👋С оркестром это вообще чудо!!! ❤
Just incredible when you think Plant and Page cant get any better they do this. Amazing arrangement with the orchestra and all musicians. Roberts voice is the best ever as is Jimmy... Best band ever existed Led Zep. No one else comes close to these amazing guys...nor ever will
❤
❤
That is fact
The Drummer RIP Did not live much longer then these videos were made.. but don’t quote me on that…..😢❤😢
Oh Jimmy!
✌️😎🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Robert voice is just fucking amazing in this song on this night lucky for Chicago
THIS is the best version ive heard EVER. Not hyperbole. Roberts voice has full range and KILLS the high notes. And Jimmy......! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. They were both in such good form in the 90s. Saw them twice. Having been too young to see Zeppelin live but having been hooked on them for a few years already seeing Page and Plant live was a dream come true. Magnificent concerts.
1973 Madison square garden from the movie is better!
@@dariusleitch1416 - Well it’s hard to argue against anything from 1973. But this is a fantastic version.
can i ask you a question robert which high note did you touch in this performance?
@@dariusleitch1416 I agree Darius from 69 to like early 74 ZEPPELIN could not even be approached. This was an excellent version but there are two HUGE pieces missing, of course JPJ and the man, myth and legend John Henry Bonham
Peace brother.
@@giuseppecasa3574 "best I could" sounded like it was straight from 22 year Robert
Always love the fact that they didn't continue without Bonzo , what an amazing relationship
Robert Plant didn't want to continue w/o his best friend, John Bonham. They'd met in high school and Plant got him the gig as drummer.
He said "I think I loved him too much". 😰
It would never have been the same. While I've seen some really close Bonham covers on youtube nobody could do it just the same, and yeah I agree its a great way to honour Bonzo to stop
WTF?! They continued touring, recording, and playing all the classics--just didn't call themselves Led Zep anymore...🤨🙄
So what?! Page and Plant, with or without Bonzo and Jones, are still, well OBVIOUSLY The Zepp‼😏🤦♀️
@@muzicaempathica6479 no they literally ended the band after bonzo died

Plant's vocals are spot on!!

Holy shit. The genius that is Jimmy Page is on full display here. He’s so good that Plant, following the mind bending flourish that concludes some truly inspired soloing, just about creams his pants.
God this version is insane ... 'm a huuuuuge fan of this song in particular. Probably listened to it more than 3k times ...
Never bored ...
Мурашки по коже бегут от такого исполнения. WONDER!
Page is on fire- amazing!
If they were gonna do another reunion, the best time would be in the 1990s -
Page had pretty much become clean, and plant’s voice was the best it had been in over 2 decades
Wow! That solo by JP is fantastic. That's about as good as it gets. 👌
Led Zeppelin ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Greatest . Sir Robert Plant and Sir Jimmy Page...
Plants voice here is goals
Page's guitar work here is impeccable
a lot of sour bends by jimmy, heroine makes for a tight fitting jacket
Without JPJ they needed a small orchestra.Robert was on fire!
Page, in his years after Zeppelin, often looked like some crazed sorcerer as he gets into some wild soloing.
He often makes me think of a tight rope walker doing flips and pirouettes 50 stories above ground. As he comes down onto the rope after some wild twisting back flip his foot slips and you swear he's a goner and is about to fall to his death but he always saves the move, and himself, and comes away looking even more graceful than before. That's why he's my favorite guitarist. He should have been splattered on the sidewalk a long time ago but you happen to look up and there he is again, looking graceful as ever.
+mrfester42 lol..im not sure whether i dont like this or i love it..??? haha
mrfester42 haha I love this analogy. I'd assume, at this point in his career, after 20 odd years playing this song, he was bored and just wanted to muck around with it a bit
Jimmy and the guitar become one, he makes love to that thing, fascinating. World's best guitarist ever, hands down.He has mezmerized me since I was 12 years old. (42 years!)
Well, you compared him with a guy in a rope... ok then
mrfester42 - Yours might be the best description of Mr. Page's talents I've ever seen or heard.

SIBLY is a powerful and awesome song but in THIS performance JP is letting the magic flow unbridled.
This is one song Jimmy always played his best on. I think this is way to honor the blues. Blues is Pages foundation to all his music. Just listen to him talk about his idols.
WOW! This version is really stunning! The orchestra really complements Jimmy’s guitar. Also Michael Lee is a superb drummer.
I was at this concert! The very first thing I bought with my own money was a Led Zeppelin box set at the age of 12, and I fell in love. My parents thought I came from a different place and time altogether! Three years later at 15 in 1995 my father bought me tickets to this concert and I truly had never thought at that time they would ever tour again! This entire tour was a blessing! ❤️❤️❤️
What Plant accomplished on these '95 through '98 tour dates as a building of tension and expression in these songs. It's really what makes songs like Gallows Pole and this work at these shows.
I’m 71. Loved them forever. My mama said to me once in 1969. Who u listening to. I said out the doorway of my bedroom it’s the best thing ever
Роберт не просто исполняет блюз..... Он его проживает так эмоционально!!! ❤
The voice of Plant is so intense and powerfull . Is better than his 70's voice in this Song. Awesome

Almost crying for this version,it's amazing and emotional.
Robert And Jimmy the Best Ever!!!👊👊👊👏
Boy, Robert had the juice that night.
Hahaha yes he was crazy singing
And the juice runs down his leg!
This sounds like Zep at its best!! Everyone blending together, Jimmy cranking the solos soft and hard, Robert's voice one moment blending and one moment soaring to new heights I have never heard him hit before!!

Fantastic string section. Awesome no question.
Pamiętam jak w latach 70-tych ubiegłego wieku dziennikarz muzyczny Piotr Kaczkowski puścił ten utwór a potem długo milczał.... Byłam wtedy dzieckiem i nadal pamiętam tę audycję.
Page and Plant must have dipped their toes into the fountain of youth on this night.
Wow! What a great live version of one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs! Both Robert and Jimmy and the whole band are in the zone!
Amazing version... all the same... Led zeppelin played this after so many years and Robert Plant still has a voice..... yeah!!! and Jimmy can still make that guitar cry so beautifully!!!! Beautiful song:))

OMG! ❤️❤️❤️ this!!! Jimmy and Robert sound AMAZING!!! oh how I wish they would tour again! 😫
I love how all the violinists are so focused on playing so precisely and then there's Jimmy probably saying to himself, "I wonder how far off track I can take it this time before they notice?"

Page was at his pinnacle with this one! he never sound this good!
He was actually better, to me, on the 98 tour. His solos on Babe I'm Gonna Leave You were mesmerizing and fresh. Jimmy's whole textured playing on the Clarksdale album appealed to me more than the rock god fret board freakout style of playing.

I am in love with the way Jimmy and Bobby dress, the colors, textures, patterns, details, and decoration--from their hair to their clothing to their shoes, belts, buckles, rings, bracelets, necklaces, scarves and so on. And each thing they wear is symbolic of a message they give out that most do not even realize, but I do.
I always pay attention to these things now-occultism 101.
Rose Kitty, Gray Kitty, and Jack Kitty Plant is an occultiste?

Geez, I was at this show and just happened to come across this video and I was blown away by it. But reading most of the remarks below I was like, did we watch the same video?? Yes we can all compare what happened in 1970, 71, 73 etc...Who cares. To me they breathed life into a song that was 25 years old. They laid it out there, and thats what a musician does - lay it out there and let the cards fall where they may. And who on this list can tell me that they werent more physically able to do certain things in their 20's compared to their 50's.
Robert Plant is supernatural!
I was there. And yes... Amazing !!
What a great performance!

I saw them a year later in Sacramento and I think I heard the best version of The Song Remains the Same, Jimmy was on fire that night.🔥😮
The entire group-everyone had the highest standards and they never phoned it in. They played the most pure, soulful blues rock.
Nice to hear Janice Joplin in Zeplins music. I'm from grand op...but💥attempted to sing rock. Blues is my thing. I love this!! Thank you!🌹
doesn't get any better than this, the best of the best...........
Najlepsza wersja w wykonaniu Page to Madison Square Garden in New York City in July 1973 from The Song Remains the Same.
Fantastic string section. Beautiful arrangement
Wow! Before pushing play, I couldn't have conceived this topping any 70s versions. But this was fantastic. Very, very well done. Thank you for sharing.
D Angah the song remains the same live version takes the cake for sure. i mean this is great and all but the other is the holy grail of rock
@@JA-yx9mq I must agree with you
@@JA-yx9mq tbh, the song remains the same version isn’t even a performance; it’s probably one of the most edited songs in the entire film. The intro, the guitar solo, even the screams and wails are a patchwork of all 3 madison square garden shows.
fantastic point in time when they still had their voice, their looks, and their hair. ok they didn't have Bonham....but. stupendous tour de force of everything Zepp.
Didn't have Bonham or Jones...
And to think that I was born and raised in Chicago and was living only 17 miles from the stadium at the time this concert was going on and didn't even realize they were in town. What sand pit was my head buried in!?!?!
I saw Page and Plant at Reunion Arena, Dallas Texas, in '95. It was exceptionally fantastic. The crowd was the loudest I had ever heard at a concert. Not so bad I couldn't hear them play, but in-between. Page and Plant loved it! To bad they won't do it one more time. Have Jason Bonham on the drums. Plant just cannot do it without John. I understand. I lost my best friend. Though I think I could play now, especially with his son. They did in 2008, I believe. Just one mo'time... One..mo'time... I said baby... I loved watching that scene in,"The Song Remains The Same," this song, "Since I've Been Loving You," the people getting into it. And the girl with blue eye shadow I think, getting into it. It's one of my favorite songs. Great playing it on the guitar.
Love
This one number, just one, is what makes these guys legends of the rock and roll genre. Somewhere in the Mississippi Delta Robert Johnson is laughing with the Devil listening to this song.
What a stunning version, Robert and Jimmy are amazing 😍👏🏻
Whoa. SIBLY was great on this tour, but this really is among the best versions I've seen/heard. Great stuff.
If anything it may be better than the record.
Thank God this is uploaded. This is pure gold. 119 people apparently addicted to auto-tune.
This is how I remember them. And the music is SO all encompassing that you can literally lose track of yourself, your surroundings and just float. You come out of it reluctantly as it ends and take a minute to readjust to reality again.
If you're having any negative thoughts about Pagey, just let this sink in for a moment. Post 1973, even on his worst night, he's still better than any other rock guitarist.
this performance is incredible! it gave me chills! thank-you so much for sharing this...
WOW!
just
WOW, thank you Percy & Pagey (and Jonesy and Bonzo ~ RIP)!
This song for me is one of the best interpretations of the blue's that has ever been done .. period....🎸🎸🎸🎸
The people in the audience that night witnessed something incredible. Page and Plant were ON POINT and the drummer and the orchestra were gold. This was in my opinion cleaner and more powerful than the MSG concert back in the 70's.
Wrong...
Wow, just stunning. They really had captured their thing again during this time. The whole production is bloated to the point it could have easily been self-parody, but the principals delivered the genuine article and it makes all the difference. That whole venue must have been crackling with electricity and chemistry that night. There truly is something powerful about artists as talented as Page and Plant finding even greater depth of expression in performing the songs they wrote in their youth as men in their prime - the wisdom and experience inform the performance and they've lost none of the physical technique and musical prowess of their 70s heyday. In fact, like all true musicians, they are only better 20 years on from the original. I love this and take inspiration from it as a player of some 30-odd years myself. Thanks for posting!
BLOATED is an understatement!!! Page, Plant, Charlie Jones, and the late, great Michael Lee, DID NOT need this distracting orchestra. Who thought it was a good idea to mess with perfection??? 🤔
@@maryjvanderwerken3192 Not that they needed it. But, I think the decision probably came down to "Let's have an orchestra. Why not?"
I don't see the addition as bloat. To me, it's just Page and Plant deciding to add another element. And, sure, other bands at the time
were adding orchestras too. Page, Plant, and the whole band were on another level this night. Nothing about the orchestra could take
anything away from that. I was too invested in the song to even tell when the string section kicked in. Just background in my opinion.
Jimmy page es de otra galaxia y robert sin palabras silencio señores solo disfruten de esta obra majestuosa
