- It’s something about the candy apple red! Here we have a 1974 caprice that was painted candy apple red over silver base…. definitely one of my favorite colors. We get to play around with the colors on this one should all the chrome trim, be gold or half-and-half, chrome and gold ??? Decisions, decisions, .  we also have the 24 karat gold leaf pinstripe … would that be too much ???  let’s continue putting the car together in go with the flow . Feel free to voice, your opinion in the comment section below. I’m pretty open to sharing my tips and advice as I build my channel and perfect my craft. What’s the base coat for the Kandy Red?
You can go with gold silver, or even black
No Gold Leaf, It's Clean, Just Like That.

laying it on to wet no reason u should. have to buff it twice if it’s painted right and your scratches show because u don’t use sealer
Ussualy happens to me cause it’s to wet and to much solvent ate what ever you sprayed over. Shit sucks. Good luck

You paint candies in pieces and don’t have any problems with the colors between the panels not matching?
With house of kolors absolutely not lol and I probably wouldn’t recommend any other brand when it comes to painting Parts separately but this particular brand I’m using, Autopaint HQ somehow figured it out as long as you know what you’re doing. I haven’t had any issues with blending or repairing this brand of candy. Still be mindful that there are pearls and metallics so still be cautious…

It was called super wet show clear from auto paint hq. But typically I use finish one clear 720

At first we did but we had to reshoot it because of some reaction, but definitely wit candy you wanna spray all at once
