  • This is my monster Banyan schefflera tree. it started out as a $40 overgrown indoor plant. In this video, we are defoliating to work on the branch structure of the tree and removed any dead branches. #banyan #bonsai #bonsaitree

    The vine growing on the tree is a Ficus pumila cutting that fell into the pot and take root. I left it because I like how it is climbing the tree

    This tree is 🔥 Awesome work man. I am going to start looking into this type of tree,more multiple trunk work at the base.The Home Depot and Lowe’s by me are right next to each other,I kid ya not 🥹I know these are always laying around hidden among the large palms they carry.Again nice work dude.💯👍🏼

    I really love fig trees too. They are very unique and interesting to grow. Thanks for sharing yours Sir.

      Thank you very much for watching! Fig trees are some of the best species for bonsai. This tree here is actually a Schefflera but it got aerial roots like a lot of tropical fig trees so I like using them as Bonsai.

    using paper towels to create the aerial roots. Strips and keep moist ? or is there more to that?
