Here's a few tips for some of the mechanics mentioned in the video. 1. Never choose the sword when you play as cavalry. Always choose the lance. It has much larger reach and is much more forgiving. It also has a charge attack that is immensely satisfying. 2. When you're on horseback, you can regen your health by pressing I think 3 or 4. This drops ammo and health packs that instantly start healing you and your horse. 3. The cavalry also gets access to light anti tank grenades that can be thrown on horseback. Great for attacking tanks. 4. When you got in the Train at 11:20 you weren't driving the train, you were only operating one of its mortars. You can tell which part you're operating by looking at the bottom right next to your ammo counter. There are 4 seats in the train and the person in seat 1 is the driver who also has access to mortar #1 which you can switch to by pressing 2 I think. You were in seat 2, so you were mortar #2 user. There's also an anti-tank cannon and a high explosive machine gun on seats 3 and 4, with the latter being very effect against infantry. 5. When you do drive/operate/pilot any of the behemoths, the best way to play them is to take them to flags to cap them. Their armor will help you not only cap flags but also pull a lot of players' attention towards you and away from other flags that your teammates can then go and cap while you keep busy with the enemy. 6. The Char 2C which you saw are only on 2 of the French maps. The driver can also operate its main cannon which has pretty harsh drop but can 2 or 3-shot most tanks. 7. If you manage to play on Heligoland Bight, that map has 2 Dreadnaughts that fight each other right at the start of the match. It's beautiful. If a team starts to lose on this map, they will get a 2nd dreadnaught to help them if the first one has died. 8. On the smaller, more infantry-focused maps, you won't have access to behemoths. Instead if a team is losing they will be given several Elite kits back at their team spawn. Bonus tip: If you and an enemy bayonet charge each other at the same time, the person who charged SECOND will always win. I know this was a lot of info but I hope it helps. Battlefield 1 is my favorite Battlefield game and my favorite PvP game. It's extremely special.
Thanks so much for the detailed info - I’m trying to raise my Horse game & I’ll try the lance and grenades approach. The Behemoths are amazing but it’s first come first served & I just need to win that click race & get in the drivers seat. Aware the behemoths are meant to take the Objectives, they’ve got insane HP. I need to test if Support class can repair them? In any event they’re loads of fun. Shame this vid seems to have flopped as a lot of people I know are like me & never played BF1. Missing out!
@@timelessgamer_UK You can get inside some of the behemoths before they appear on the deploy screen. You just have to get back to spawn to get in them manually when they're first appearing. Support can't repair behemoths. The weapon modules on them can be repaired if they're disabled but it's an automatic timed repair, you don't need a wrench to fix them, they fix themselves. Also I was wrong about the "who bayonet charged first" thing. The 2nd person who charges is the one who wins, not the first person. So the counter-bayonet-er is the one who will always win. Glad to help. Keep up the content.
That was a great intro - many horses were harmed in the making of this video 😅 Glad you’re enjoying BF1, you should give Medic a try. I’d also love to see you turn to the Dark Side and start sniping… perhaps the Great War will make you break 😂
It’s definitely one of the tougher BFs for me, but it’s nice to have something new (if that’s what we call an 8 year old game). Nothing wrong in mixing it up a bit ahead of the next title
I’m looking forward to it - it’s nice to have a new title to be working with. Hopefully I’ll start to get a bit more luck and spot the other Behemoths more frequently!
I have but I don’t think it works with my living setup. I’ve got an active family house & almost no control over when or how consistently I’m online. I can easily be called away after sitting down for 10 minutes, sometimes I get an hour. Maybe one day if things quiet down around here!
Enjoyed‼ 🎈 Keep them coming ❣ Check out the different crates available during games. Clubbing is great and Flaming Funeral Fires For Fun... Timeless Gee FTW
Thanks for the support as always! I’ll try to learn where the crates are, I w had a crack with the Flamer before it’s really good fun. Looking forward to what I can find!
It’s such a joy to see you having so much fun with bf5 and even more so now with bf1. 1 might take the cake for me. A true diamond. May I suggest the “Elite Classes” that are offered across various maps; Flame Trooper, Sentry (two variants: one carrying an MG 08/15 and the other carrying a much faster-firing Villa Perosa), Tank Hunter (you would 100% adore this), Trench Raider and The Infiltrator. Beautiful showcase as always 10/10 ❤
The behemoth mechanic would be cool thing to have in next BF! Having a commander for the loosing team would also be a option. Nice video once again! :D
I used to be pretty good horse player, here are my tips: - use your rifle to skirmish against infantry. I rarely used my sabor unless I was sprinting through trenches and tight places. Even then, a direct hit with the horse will kill - always retreat when low health and drop a med pack to heal up (don’t get shot or it will stop healing) - use your anti tank grenades to chip at tanks. Use 3rd person advantage to peak over hills and lob grenades from safety. I usually play as a tank hunter - movement is key, so don’t run into objects. You don’t want to be in a place where your horse does the slow turn around animation
Also for horse battles, they are mainly about hitting each other with your AT grenades. I think it takes 2 grenades to kill a horse, so toss them and run away until they regen
Thanks for the tips, I need to work on this. I really like the idea of tank hunting but I must say my early BF1 experience (15 hours played?) is tanks are very hard to find on the field. Few in number and people really seem to be protecting them by holding on the back lines. Anti vehicle is definitely my thing though so I’ll hang in there
Thanks for the video. It's my second favorite FPS game after BFV. 13:50 Small tip: you can use MP 18 Trench weapon without aiming, it's a hip-fire laser beam
Why return Behemoths if we can have Titans from BF2142? They are by far the best attempt at creating a large game-changing mobile platforms. They don't give them as a pity for worse teams, it's not a nuisance or an annoyance, it's literally your whole objective to defend yours and attack your enemy's one.

I’ll give it a shot! Does it play like 2042, or is there something special about it?
Nice video and very informative, but just a warning that behemoth turrets do actually repair but slowly
I’ll keep that it mind, thanks!
nice intro to the game, there is a lot to like in bf1, horses are top tier just like the sound of the Martini Henry
It’s definitely one of the tougher BFs for me, but it’s nice to have something new (if that’s what we call an 8 year old game). Nothing wrong in mixing it up a bit ahead of the next title
Great video! Glad to see that you’re branching out with battlefield, if you liked the armored train just wait until you see the dreadnought behemoth!
I’m looking forward to it - it’s nice to have a new title to be working with. Hopefully I’ll start to get a bit more luck and spot the other Behemoths more frequently!
My favorite thing in BF1 was the Battleship when it dies. The explosion can be heard throughout the map, and it sounds absolutely amazing. Truly epic.
I’ll see if I can find the maps which have it - not come across it yet. Something to look forward to
I really want to play BF1 now
Get in there - I still think BFV is the best but I’ve only just started the journey so let’s see!
Jeez over 2K now, doing something right.
Yeah we’re getting there all be it slowly - still waiting for the Gods of the Algorithm to smile on me but until then I’ll keep praying!
I hope you will be able to catch BF3 and 4 before the servers will go out.
I’ll try to get there - it took me nearly 6 months to finally find time to get good enough at BF1 to make this vid 😅
Always a good day when you upload and have you ever thought about streaming?

lovely content

Brilliant opening!

I'll keep playing and give it a try! Sadly this vid's a bit of a flop but not giving up on some BF1 fun. Maybe next time will land better!

Nice video once again! :D
Never played with a Commander, predates my time with the BF franchise. All I know is Noob from BFF but it didn’t look like he did an awful lot 😅

I’ll give it a try! I have to be honest and say BFV is my favourite as well. Epic game
Nice video, but poor horses 😂😂
They started it, riding around like they own the place 😅
Thanks for stopping by :)
I, too, hate horses. But I ain’t no equinophobe.
The horse is evil and must be punished, just how it has to be
I like the tanks in bf1 a lot, especially the frontline support land ship
I don’t know why it is, but I really struggle to get any tanks in BF1. Never available!
What monitor are you using? your gameplay recording is gorgeous.
I’m away from home at the moment but it’s an Alienware 34” ultra wide 4K monitor. Bought it… 3 years ago?
do not underestimate the horseman carbine from horseback. It is like a sniper rifle with a tight hip spread
I need to try the horses out more for sure, only just started there. Nice to have something to work on.
I might have to reinstall this one, now we are playing BF V more. Hopefully the hackers are not too prevelant in this one now 😂😜
It’s been alright you know - sure I’ve met a few and got some lovely clips, but that’s BF!
May not be as realistic but it’s way easier to aim out of ADS for me
For all guns, or just the assault rifles?
@@timelessgamer_UK sorry should have clarified, in Assault planes as the gunner ✌️
Attack planes*
I often pilot and if I have no gunner switch if I’m being tailed.
Nice content anyway man

I’ve really got to look into 2142!
