Flying Squirrel changed my bf life. It is absolutely amazing how many silly things you can do as a single soldier when you’ve gotten familiar with the wing suit ;) Tank Slap™️ is the best for deleting goofy armor goobers when all else does fail though

Solo,I'd prly c5 my own Pondhawk and drop it on you from an unexpecting angle (which is obviously the East side from their spawn or rather that Building's side) Once you are 2 guys working together you can always clear that roof - as you so eloquently explained here :D Great Guide!

Hey sorry I just saw this one - yeah I’m in Singapore so that puts me something like 7 hours ahead of you (does Germany do summer / winter clock adjustments?). Linking up is possible as I do it with friends back in London but we cannot leave it to chance - it only works if you set a time to be there (I’m randomly up at 2am 😂). Also if I’m on your server I’m pretty much only good for Rao spotting and Angel reloading due to the lag. I don’t mind just what it is. Cool that’s your thing on videos. Audio does a lot to add to a video, I was very apprehensive at first too but you get over it. Give a try, what’s the worst that can happen?

I just don't know why Dice allows vehicles to be spawned on top of buildings xD I thought we figured this out season ago, back when the breakthrough point on Kaleidoscope was at the top of the tower? Thanks for figuring out a solution to this degeneracy! I'm all for the Irish APS trophys, but not when they are used for camping. I think they should probably detonate after use.
I mean for me the really BS thing is how close the trap point is to the spawn. I can see why this is catching out new players / pilots. It’s so easy to defeat but I just watch the masses crash against the rocks night after night I had to say something 😂 I think for me I’d like it if the Irish trophies had limited rounds & depleted, just like you’re saying. It would also be good if they could be overwhelmed by say a Hydra pod volley. Not completely useless but they can’t just stay there forever in the face of 16 rockets!
Great strat! Not tried it but i imagine this can also be countered by a stealth heli with tow missiles and the 30mm if the stealth helis gunner opens with the emp shot but the apache strat is proberably way easier
I tried the stealth heli. Yea the 30mm can bypass but it’s hard to hit. Also a high risk of being caught out if you stray too low. The EMP is all but useless now since the changes Dice really needs to rethink the gunner chair
Great video. I would also recommend pairing with a hovercraft equipped with the AA gun. Dual AA guns absolutely wreck aircraft. Also, with the hovercraft, you have powerful anti-infantry guns on the sides should any squirrels or infantry show up. I like to keep it away from the Brawler and keep moving it around. That way it's hard for them to anticipate where to fire Liz rockets or pop up aircraft.
I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for it! I found when the squishes are up there I can take them pretty easily with a 25mm jet cannon. If I’m on the roof team, why not? Give it a try

Aircraft are too powerful to go unchecked, and no matter how hard I try to play other roles I always get pulled back in because NOBODY ON MY TEAM IS FIGHTING THEM 😂😂😂

It’s like anything, in many situations being able to call in a vehicle doesn’t matter too much, but in others it can break the game. Remember when we had to capture the top of a skyscraper on breakthrough with 32 people covering 4 elevators & every AA conceivable watching the sky?! This wouldn’t be so bad if the trap point wasn’t right in the US side’s face & there were ways onto the roof which didn’t require an aircraft!
This is actually very very true - I addressed it in my Apache Balance video. Air power has gone too far, it’s natural people are looking for ways to stay alive.

Ok so not getting nerdy but first of all, the server tick is different in 64 vs 128, it’s slightly slower in the larger games. Latency is everything with a Lissile, yours and also the person you shot at. At my home server I get 2ms, playing in Australia 92ms and in the East Coast US about 240 to 260. I’m glad it helped, stick with it and you’ll have it down in no time. Be warned though I have a sneaking feeling Dice are going to roll out some BIG changes for Lis in 7.0, let’s see… good luck!
Squid g is another master of Sundance. Ever seen a fly by 360 sniper shot? Or fly by sniper then 180 throwing knife then continue to fly? Rondezuke with rockets? C5? AT mines?

if they would not allow vehicles to be spawned on buildings, this crap would not be so powerful. On any map, vehicles should only be spawn on the ground, period
Much of the time I’d say spawning on top of a building is a disadvantage for the team, as it can’t push objectives. It can be a problem on maps like Renewal where someone puts a TOR on top of the E1 / E2 building. But for all that yeah, I don’t disagree the game wouldn’t lose a lot by simply removing the ability to do it.
Completely agree. But I am amazed even again last night how many rounds pass without anyone doing it. It does feel like it’s always me who has to dig these players out. Dropping in an Engineer can be done for sure but it is a little bit harder due to the slow descent. That said in the chaos on a messy roof fight, anyone could potentially slip through…
Respect not the Camper, and always strive to foil their ways 😅 The only thing better for me thank taking out a camper is beating a Hacker. We will literally drop everything to nail the known cheats on our Asian servers 😂
Moving the spawn back 100m would at least give people some chance. The Factory cube is way too close and basically gives the Russian side a huge advantage. Hope this helps ppl out.

I hear what you’re saying and of course there’s no guarantee the other 60 people on the trap team won’t completely drop the ball at taking advantage of what this trap can give. All I can say from painful experience is I’ve seen many a team lose the round due to lack of air power, and all it cost was a CAV & a few players. Personally I would never leave it up, just my take.

That’s why I made this video - because based on my own painful experience, there’s a lot of players that don’t know how to break it. They’ll throw all our vehicles on a bonfire not handling it right. It couldn’t be easier to escape if you 1) keep an eye out to stop it happening in the first place; and 2) use the correct tools to dig them out. I completely agree a good squad can deal with this.

But just go capture the flags and win the game lol 😆 play the objectives . If people focus you on the roof they are wasting time whilst your team is spawning in a truck where effectively 2 people can operate and your losing other flags whilst surrendering to being stuck on the roof lol.
Fair point but counter argument - the limited people up top are denying the entire Air Force of the other team & raining down shots on spawning ground vehicles. By the time you reach D1 you’re damaged and hopelessly outgunned! I’ve seen it go both ways!

True, we lost that particular round - I can’t help what goes on below & what our pilots were / weren’t doing. Objectives are King absolutely, sometimes you can give your all and still end up taking the L. As I say, I’ve seen it go all sorts of ways and typically a team that gets pinned in their spawn like that get slaughtered. Who’s to say, put 132 players in a sandbox and anything can happen, one of the reasons I love the game :)

Man i hate the Nightbirds, i wanna know how you deal with Nightbird pros?

1) defeat them with Attack Helis
2) Lissile them with Lis
3) Army of 2 with SOFLAM and launcher?

Ok so not getting nerdy but first of all, the server tick is different in 64 vs 128, it’s slightly slower in the larger games. Latency is everything with a Lissile, yours and also the person you shot at. At my home server I get 2ms, playing in Australia 92ms and in the East Coast US about 240 to 260.

Squid g is another master of Sundance. Ever seen a fly by 360 sniper shot? Or fly by sniper then 180 throwing knife then continue to fly? Rondezuke with rockets? C5? AT mines?
I’ve seen Knul do all these things regularly - I am starting my Sundance journey. Not worthy to stand alongside those two but one day I’ll get there!

I just read in patch 7.2 notes that apparently this won’t be a thing anymore. Irish Trophy won’t take out anti vehicle weapons anymore.
if they would not allow vehicles to be spawned on buildings, this crap would not be so powerful. On any map, vehicles should only be spawn on the ground, period
Much of the time I’d say spawning on top of a building is a disadvantage for the team, as it can’t push objectives. It can be a problem on maps like Renewal where someone puts a TOR on top of the E1 / E2 building. But for all that yeah, I don’t disagree the game wouldn’t lose a lot by simply removing the ability to do it.

Completely agree. But I am amazed even again last night how many rounds pass without anyone doing it. It does feel like it’s always me who has to dig these players out. Dropping in an Engineer can be done for sure but it is a little bit harder due to the slow descent. That said in the chaos on a messy roof fight, anyone could potentially slip through…

Moving the spawn back 100m would at least give people some chance. The Factory cube is way too close and basically gives the Russian side a huge advantage. Hope this helps ppl out.

while u guys are just camping the spawn of the enemie team is doing great at PTFO and at the end u will be loosing the match
so from my point of view theses traps are useless and u should not even bother trying to get rid of them ^^
I hear what you’re saying and of course there’s no guarantee the other 60 people on the trap team won’t completely drop the ball at taking advantage of what this trap can give. All I can say from painful experience is I’ve seen many a team lose the round due to lack of air power, and all it cost was a CAV & a few players. Personally I would never leave it up, just my take.

That’s why I made this video - because based on my own painful experience, there’s a lot of players that don’t know how to break it. They’ll throw all our vehicles on a bonfire not handling it right. It couldn’t be easier to escape if you 1) keep an eye out to stop it happening in the first place; and 2) use the correct tools to dig them out. I completely agree a good squad can deal with this.

But just go capture the flags and win the game lol 😆 play the objectives . If people focus you on the roof they are wasting time whilst your team is spawning in a truck where effectively 2 people can operate and your losing other flags whilst surrendering to being stuck on the roof lol.
Fair point but counter argument - the limited people up top are denying the entire Air Force of the other team & raining down shots on spawning ground vehicles. By the time you reach D1 you’re damaged and hopelessly outgunned! I’ve seen it go both ways!

True, we lost that particular round - I can’t help what goes on below & what our pilots were / weren’t doing. Objectives are King absolutely, sometimes you can give your all and still end up taking the L. As I say, I’ve seen it go all sorts of ways and typically a team that gets pinned in their spawn like that get slaughtered. Who’s to say, put 132 players in a sandbox and anything can happen, one of the reasons I love the game :)
