A great follow-up release that really does extend the brand with a cohesive design language..
200%. Thx for watching Corey 🙏
That silver dial looks almost champagne. What a unique and aesthetically pleasing watch.
You can taste the champagne
I really liked the watch at first glance, and I believe it will look even more stunning once all the dials are changed in the final version. The lume is fantastic, and the bezel is simply amazing, but what truly stands out to me is the unique and different look of the 12th-hour indicator. All in all, the watch is excellent, and of course, your presentation is outstanding. I would even say it’s a visual treat for the viewers. The watch is expensive and out of my budget, especially since I just added the Studio Underdog Watermelon Chronograph to my collection last month after 8 months of saving. Please keep making such videos-it’s a pleasure to take a break from this fast-paced life and watch them.
Such kind words. Thanks ! Congrats on the 🍉
I think you're right. Vintage vibes without it being an obvious copy of something iconic from decades past.
Thx for watching it all the way to the end 🤛
@@BowlOfSalmon thanks for such a detailed review, even down to the clasp.
Every watch you shoot makes me want to buy it !!!
Imagine what would happen if more people watched 😂
There are so many chronos these days. Standing out in a saturated category is always a challenge. The bezel is definitely the point of difference. I love the coined finishing.
For me though I have learned that unless it is sold in Australia and is accessible to try I now steer away.
I have a vision of owners turning their heads to see the 3 and 6 the right way up.
I still love the Tag Glass Box more and is much more legible.
As always top notch videography Tom. Nice designed piece.
We need a windup equivalent down under to try them all on. Thx for watching Trish.
That would be great. There is Watch Fest.
What a great looking watch if a little on the chunky side. A nice step up from the Model No.1 for sure even though that one was nice too. I think the bezel looks fantastic (the Gekota Airstream is another watch with a similar style bezel). It's a shame you didn't get your hands on the other dial variants too though; I would've have loved to have got a closer look at the brown dial variant. I think it goes without saying but your videography is stunning. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the compliment ! Yeah it’s usually more fun to get more dials to play with and showcase them. I agree in calling it “the brown dial “
@@BowlOfSalmon You’re welcome! Yeah I realised afterwards that they’re calling it Golden Gray. I guess it does look like an old grey dial patina’d by the sun. So cool!
Great video as usual! I know many people might disagree, but I would have liked to see a date window for a daily wearer.
I’m trying to think of a chrono where I actually like the date incorporated but can’t come
Up with one. On my tag glassbox the placement isn’t really globally loved either. I usually don’t dislike dates but I never like them too much either. Nomos got your back tho : yesterday they released a watch with two date windows 🤷♂️
I absolutely love everything about this except the price.
Value is absolutely there. And for those who want a big brand name on the dial. Think about these as a good non main stream designer watch. Just like buying you clothes in a small boutique
Congrats on the #NWA, Tom!
😉 you spotted it
Amazing shots, man! Insane. Great watches and design language from Lorca. If the no. 1 was a traveller’s GMT and the no. 2 was one mm slimmer, I’d be in serious trouble 😍
Thx mate. Much appreciated. So model 3 for you then. Wonder what that could be 🤔
@@BowlOfSalmon I still want both though, I’m barely able to resist. For now
Love the video Tom, the lighting really shows off those details and reflective facets 👌🏻 Model 2 looks really good, am impressed by both of the these. But wait, French Fries are Belgian? Get outta here! 😂
Yes. And we put mayonaise on top
A different piece for a couple grand? Love it
This is a cool release. It's a touch small for my preferences (would love it at 39 or 40mm), but I'm sure is perfect for enough people out there. It does fit with its inspirations, such as the Rolex 6265. I would like to see a silver dial/black sub-dial model, but can't really complain about the design choices.
If want to see those black subdial too. My usual is 39 or 40 too. This doesn’t feel too strange on the wrist tho. Do try it if you get the chance
Gorgeous and almost perfect, but those weird endlinks kinda ruin it for me. Would probably look better on a vintage style beads of rice bracelet
Agreed, those endlinks looks like an afterthought.
Right. I forgot to cover those. Maybe I even did on the prev video. But they just don’t stand out to me in a negative way. In fact. Now that you mentioned it … i noticed they are not “usual”. But that’s the great thing again
@@BowlOfSalmon Totally, they look intentional to me! Same as Nomos’ lugs, a strong stylistic choice. Just not one I’d like on my wrist, to each their own
