Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."

I really like the Zulu Time, especially the Ti versions. However, the deal breakers for me are no on-the-fly adjustment... I use the T-fit often on my Tudors. In 2024, there really is no excuse not to have tool-less adjustment in the clasp, especially at this price point when even micro-brands have them. Secondly, with those male endlinks, the true lug to lug is around 52mm!! Way too long for a 39mm watch and doesn't wear well on my girly 6.75 wrists!

The indexes of the brown look beige, while those of the others look white. Is this the case or are the indices the same in all 4 versions?

I'm actually not a fan of the "dark room" style. it reads as significantly less natural and more marketing-edit. as a watch collector I don't really respond at all to images that appear overly staged or edited. that doesn't mean they can't be - but when a watch is sitting on a table with a single source of perfectly white diffuse light, it just doesn't look right. no part of planet earth is ever actually lit that way. maybe the trick si having multiple controlled light sources if not including ambient? but what do I know. been a big fan of monochrome watches articles because their photography seems decidedly natural - none of that "weird dark room" effect that makes for example Teddy Baldassare's b-roll basically useless imagery.

the iphone shot freaked me out. was watching this tutorial to get a sense of why my watch shots were so unbelievably bad. thought it was camera and lighting related, obviously, so the lighting advice and products will be of great help. but i figured something else was going on with the iphone because it simply refused to capture what the naked eye would see - it introduces all sorts of random color grading, fuzziness, poor focus, idk...almost always its user error.

Price update: So i just bought the black dial version a few days ago for $1063 or €984. And that is what I love about Seiko and their relationships with their ADs. I was choosing between this and a Hamilton "Interstellar", when the price dropped I got this. But the mere fact this watch gets compared to Omega, Tudor, etc. at 3x or 4x price you know Seiko has a winner and as the price drops the vaue proposition gets that much better. IMHO, best looking 300m diver on the market today given the dimensions.

Very difficult to change the straps. I have many other watches and the new 3861 bracelet has stiff springbars. Absolute garbage, would not recommend it. Easy to scratch and you need the special tweezer tools to do it easily. Pathetic design

The Black one is dope in real 🔥 The other colors are also stunning, there is not a bad choice. I wanted the silver/golden but I changed my mind after I put them on my wrist.

Going to add another Studio Underdog watch to my watch collection with my Rolex Submariner, Omega Seamaster 300m blue, Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 Steve McQueen blue dail, Cartier Santos, Doxa Orange dail. why am adding another Studio Underdog there fun and different to other watch brands there a must have in any watch collection. ⌚️

I have the new blackbay 58 gmt (coke) but had this watch been available Mainstream, I would have bought it. I think it’s better looking than the Tudor or the Rolex explorer two.

I really like this line, however GO will not be seeing any of my money until these hunks get shrunk. T)

I love G10s, it's a shame B&J are overpriced. £28 for a strap is ridiculous. I bought 2 from Adrian but then found CNS watchbands. They are the same quality and start at £9.95. in the sale they were as low as £1.95. I don't know how they do it as it's cheaper than hit and miss AliExpress..

I can't decide. I can only buy 1or 2 watches in this price range for the next 2 years probably. I'm leaning towards black for now but only by a very small margin. In a perfect world I would get the blue one, and the new black bay with the black bezel/dial both.

Love this and the debut piece which I’d been fawning over since Wind Up 2023. Got to see both in person this year and got the No. 1. Price aside, I prefer the size and gmt functionality of the Model 1. The bracelet, which is on both, is amazing. Feels nice to have something fairly unique in a city of Subs. Great coverage of both watches!

I've owned Citizen Eco drives for years ( maybe up to 2 decades) exclusively as dependable workhorse watches. Just bought a 2012 NB0040-59A Signature Collection watch from ebay as an alternative to mid level Swiss brands. The Citizen absolutely kills every Swiss watch Ive owned when it comes to attention to detail & finishing ( dial, bracelet, case... unsurpassed). I think the 2 watches reviewed here also reflected a quality that just cant be matched by any Swiss brand dollar for dollar. This brand has super quality. ( my Citizen auto is better than the Orient Star that I purchased last year).

Do these white dials mean you sacrifice the wonderful lume found on the darker versions?

I ended up with the black one after comparing them side to side. The reason is because black goes with any color strap and that's important since you're limited to NATOs.
