I love the ultra thin movements that they provide. It brings some of the charm of the nautilus and royal oak to the club sport. Also there arent a lot of watches that are that thin with automatic winding.
Thanks for the review! I, too, enjoyed seeing all the “flavors” on the color wall at Watches & Wonders 2024. But I had already decided on the Petrol with the 37mm case on a bracelet. Petrol is the perfect shade of green. Oddly enough, I haven’t pulled the trigger on this watch, as it is more entry level than I normally buy. Nevertheless I’m confident it’ll be in my collection one day, as I want a Nomos in my collection.
I love the longer lugs 😅 makes the watches wear super well. I have a same size wrist to you and i have the orange club 36 and it’s amazing on wrist. I’m thinking about getting the 37 petrol next
@@BowlOfSalmon totally get it, I think the other club models with the matte colourful dials work better on straps because straps can compliment the colour - whereas a sunburst dial works well with a bracelet as well as straps
I've always loved the clean look of these! I'd have to try on the 39mm to make sure it wasn't too small on my 8" wrist. Usually nothing below 40mm looks good on me... at least to my eyes.
Great video as always (the diverse range of brands you cover is great) I see Nomos as more of a dressy watch brand. I think the petrol model would look great with a leather strap and used for summer weddings etc
I love everything but the lugs on these. If they had a short lug option, I imagine the sales would be the death toll for that 'design language'. Yes I've tried them on. If they had shorter lugs, I'd have a few already. Great review/footage.
Oh I can never do one piece tbh. I dress up less than I need something more sturdy. In meetings the nomos would feel more at home over the campgrounds … Ps. Mr isn’t home ;) Tom is fine. Thx for watching!
I love this watch for its simple elegance and timeless beauty. However, I must admit, the price is quite steep. For the same amount, you could easily get a titanium watch, which offers both durability and a premium feel. While the design is captivating, the high cost makes it a tough choice for me.
I've been wanting to get into Nomos for a while. Tried to like the tangente (including the limited editions) but it just doesn't work for me. These though....!?
1) Great watch. A Nomos Club is the only watch 90% of us will ever need 2) the final « c » in « tabac » is silent. The word sounds as « taba ». French viewers thank you.
Thx for the lingo advice. In English it is pronounced and if this was a French product I’d probably would have done my best to pronounce it that way. I’m not a native English or French speaker and I just do my best.
def something that feels stranger when you are not use to thin watches like this.. but i see these as dressy , sporty so it feels "right" for them to feel thinner on the wrist
Never knew that the bracelet was all that these were missing to help blend away that long lug to lug
This is probably the best summary and I wish I could steal that quote and have it in the video. Pinned your comment. Thx

not sure how we get to the nautilus or oak but jeej to thin mvmt's ;)
@@BowlOfSalmon
The nautilus is thin with 150m water resistance.. similar concept I guess.. it's quite rare at any price point..
The 37mm in petrol is perfection 😍
We agree!
Agree 👍🏽
I love this Nomos! I’d probably go with the 37 in blue for my 6 3/4” wrist.
Size sounds spot on. Blue one looks great too

Nomos is just outside of the "pickup" window indeed in terms of budget. still great piece and the petrol colour is unbeaten. thanks for watching !

The bracelet option works well for my wrist. Would I prefer shorter. Yes. Does it bother me much. No

Yeah I also have a boundary when something feels too small or big and I can’t get used to it. You could try the 39 or the 42 date one.
Thank you very much for this wonderful review!
My pleasure! 🙏
Gorgeous man, great video! Such wonderful dials.
They are!thx for spending some of your Sunday time on my channel 😉

Thx ! Appreciate the feedback and I hope to bring some more diversity. Getting hands on with the ones I want to talk about isn’t always easy tho
I have the 42mm in blue. Its big but its my favorite watch
I wanted to include that but they sent me a tetra thing in 42 instead 🫣
This video was much needed, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Yes, I did enjoy the video! I’ve now subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video Tom!
Thanks legend !
Great video Tom. The petrol looks like a standout.
Thank you Trish. I think so too!

Thanks. Yeah. Def a make or break for
Some. But this is still a very popular model for them so I don’t see the
Changing that soon ;)
@BowlOfSalmon agreed, they'll keep the long lugs, to my detriment 😂
Thanks for the review Tom, honestly Nomos just don’t do a lot for me, I don’t know why 🤷🏼♂️
Knowing what is inside your watchbox I can totally understand that. But thanks for the support here ! Means a lot to me and the algo 😅
Thanks for letting me post my mean comments in wc. I subscribed
All is forgiven now.
My only complaint is the lack of screw down crown. It could have been a perfect watch...
fair
Dear Mr Tom, not obviously same piece but as a GADA which would you choose - the Nomos Sport or the Vertex m100?
Oh I can never do one piece tbh. I dress up less than I need something more sturdy. In meetings the nomos would feel more at home over the campgrounds … Ps. Mr isn’t home ;) Tom is fine. Thx for watching!

Fair enough but sounds like a totally different kind of watch. I find the pricing for these a pretty good value prop tbh
I've been wanting to get into Nomos for a while. Tried to like the tangente (including the limited editions) but it just doesn't work for me. These though....!?
I felt tangente wearing more natural but I’m less a fan of the lug design
All automatic Nomos watches (especially the clubs) 😊should have a screw down crown, please Nomos
I don’t really see this as a watch I’ll take swimming but knowing I can fall into the water and have the watch survive is great. They have good wR
I like nomos, but had to send my new watch to get serviced twice 😂. I don’t think they have best QCs.that being said I love my Nomos watch.
Oh. Unfortunate but hope they solved it properly for you ?
@@BowlOfSalmon they eventually did :) they make good watches. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work 👏
Nice watch, just regret they dont have big seconds and some other design
Nomos be nomos. I like how they stay inside their “design”
@@BowlOfSalmon why not

probably a strange qns, but does it wear too thin?

the lugs
very nomos
