I got a sub date a few years back from an AD and have come to notice a fine white fiber floating around on my dial. Its driving me insane but the only option is to send it in un warranty to have it removed and the wait who knows how long for my watch to return. Not to mention the last time I sent a different Rolex to Rolex to be serviced with notes saying, "DO NOT POLISH CASE/BRACELET ETC." and they accidentally polished the case and called to tell me they're sorry.
It’s crazy sometimes they just get too busy and disregard some things I’ve had hands changed dials changed etc all at service centers because the old ones didn’t “meet their standards” it is what it is we will all live but it suck’s for sure
Peter, I wouldn’t send the Explorer at 7:30 back! That one defect on this one watch, triples the value! The only watch out of 1.25 million to have this defect.

No one was buying , everyone was wanting to sell… And he started “Borrowing from Peter ( NOT THIS PETER 👆🏼😂) to pay Paul ( Not Paul Thorpe 😂) And then he probably used one consignees watch. Probably told them it hadn’t sold yet when it did , then paid them back , then did it again with like 2-3 ppl , maybe paid 2 out of 3 .. then did it again with 5-10 watches , maybe paid back 6-7 and so on and son and before you know it it snowballed, he starts drinking 24/7 knowing he messed up, knowing it’s getting out of hand . Plus drugs , then being miserable & lonely , starts paying for prostitutes . And just went down hill . Plus he had to keep up appearances and make everything seem normal so more watches kept coming in. Probably told himself over and over he’d pay it back etc etc . Probably believed it too ! If he would’ve just went to a damn meeting , maybe even rehab for 60 days before he started using people’s stuff to leverage the business , payroll, his lifestyle . 🤦🏻♂️. Even if he would’ve stopped at sound $1M or under and went to rehab or something and sold some things off , paintings , blow out sales of merch , maybe 3-5% of all profits being allocated straight to a secured account to repay it .. i believe if he could’ve stopped , asked for help before it snowballed . Especially if he would’ve got clean , and stopped once he hit the $1M mark . He probably could’ve fixed it , maybe even quietly . Hell I’m surprised he didn’t insure everything at 20-30% higher and had a robber staged for an insurance payout 😂😂😂 (Possibly for the 2nd time 😬 , Marco did get robbed in LA for over $1M in watches with that Asian dude . But idk back then they were doing really well . They were bringing in $30M in revenue already being only a 5 yr old company, with 2 owners and like 7 employees - then became 11 employees . Where as LB was a 20-25 yr old company at the time , 3 owners and probably 15-20 employees total and doing $100M a year. TPG was doing extremely well. They had so much going for it. An amazing logo, name, Marco & Anthony did well together. Then plus Had the support of so many. But AF is an addict / Alcoholic. He accomplished all of that because he had 4 years clean and was doing well, focused. But once he got off parole, he relapsed on camera that exact moment he got the phone call from his Lawyer ! That’s when things hit the fan. SMH He had the world by the balls and blew it . But I will say . Even owing $4-5M maybe $250K in legal fees and court cost . Etc … I guarantee you they’ll make a movie about him. And what’s funny one of his goals was always for Mark Whalberg to meet him, play him in a movie 🎥 🍿. He might just get his wish . And with a movie deal and his life rights he could possibly make that millions , then plus a book and art too . He could make millions and pay that back and have a nice nest egg to start over 🤷🏻♂️
As you said people are greedy. If they want to sell it privately they have all the Hassle of advertising it and there is a lot of Time wasters out there. Sell it to someone like you and they will give you the money ASAP.

No, customers who purchase a watch at a fair price could minimize their loss I tell people all the time I can’t pay you what I sold it for because how would I make money. Only some watches I can buy back for the exact price in some occasions. If your loss is 10-20% over two years, you basically rented the watch.. you wore and enjoyed a timepiece for a minimal loss. When you get crushed on purchase price you lose 50%+ which is insane😂

Honestly anything GMT you’re doing ok, explorers & subs you can make a little something, presidents with colored dials Daytonas on oysterflex with some dials etc it’s a very fine line
also if it was that humid to reliquify coating the dial print or something else would have damage but I believe it happened when applying the Lume someone scraped too hard at rolex.

The public think you can get rich of selling Rolexes what they fail to understand is that it's really low margin and to be profitable you have to trade in volume. It's a lot of work.
