@@ic7ue472 no problem! :) Regarding hours it's difficult to say: I was learning how to animate while working on this, how to build the sets and use vfx, so if I have do it now, it would probably take a lot less time i suppose 😅. Especially if I am not busy with my freelance illustrator job. It took me about a month and a half in my spare time to learn iclone 7 (3d animation in general) and create. But the last few days of the competition I pulled a few all-nighters and a weekend. Honestly, if it wasn't for Acculips, the many tutorials online and the intuitive shortcuts iClone offers I would've been lost.
As for the subdivision, I don't remember to be honest. I might have. Is there a way to check?
@@animashinka Thank you for the detailed answer. I understand what you mean because I'm going through similar journey. As for the subdivision, I just noticed that when characters get subdivide for one level a remarkable amount of visual improvement can be noticed. The only way I can think of to check that is by going back to the project file and check its settings.

What would be cool if Reallusion added a way to create textures that we can use like a slider. So anime shade over the head but can be controlled with a slider.
Hey Aysterix, I think they have something similar already (but not certain ). Check the Substance Super Tool in their Content Store ($79), it's also included in the package Visual Essentials ($149). Hope it's what you are looking for ;)

Apologies for the late reply. I have forgotten how XD But I remember I found the solution on one of Reallusion Channel's Tutorials. Check the ones about the PopCorn pluggin, the answer should be there. I remember it was quite straight forward and fast to do :)

Thank you!! 🤗 I used Morphs! I have a whole video about morphing the face which is the same principle. However, I think you can do that in Iclone 8 directly without using morphs. I plan to start a tutorial series (after one more video about rendering) that will explore character creation in CC4 and of course I'll touch upon eye morphs. 👁 😆
