Kind of hilarious how long LEGO spent trying to find a replacement for brown, only for said replacement to be a color that was already on a lot of the older brown sets.

fun fact there’s a species of Vorox trapped on the jungle planet that are taller and stronger than their desert cousins and I can see this redesign fitting in to that group
With how "Feral" Vorox can be, maybe this is an "alpha male" version. He is an older specimen of his species, and something tells me that he keeps other Vorox in line with a good whack with his tail.
Maybe the one Malum killed.

I never really was a Bionicle fan, I was born too late for the craze i wound up more in time for Hero Factory, but my brother had owned this set and lost it to the bin. I remember pawing through the bin and finding that strange pincer like head enamored by it I began to search for more pieces like it and eventuality rebuilt the model. I have fond memories of this set one of my limited experiences with Bionicle, but it was awesome to see this scorpion tailed savage get this awesome remake. Thank you Nick.
Always nice to return to BIONICLE once in a while, and a great Vorox build! (:
I would love to see this design with more green and brown (but still retaining the tan base) to represent the Jungle subspecies of Vorox from Bota Magna
The insect like mask part adds so much, but the tail is the star of the show. Such a great design improved even more.
The Broken chain was an epic touch! Such an awesome upgrade to the figure!
I Always looked at this Scorpio guy and i said once...
"This Scorpio boi looks like he belongs in México".
Nick I've gotta say these mocs are genius and they are inspirational. But there is one line you can make better with your expertise

Exo force definitely felt like one of those lines begging for the owner to customize and detail
Vorox are very awesome. They know how to survive in the desert. If someone manges to befriend some, they got it good.

Really loved the chains. Very nice detail, fitting to the lore.
Brown is just darker orange, so Phantoka Pohatu being that color makes a lot more sense than gunmetal or yellow on Hewkii....which ironically should also been orange due to his burnt orange (aka vibrant brown) color scheme as a Matoran.
We always love the Sand Tribe members, we just love bug like characters and the Vorox and especially the Zesk fill that beautifully (fun fact, when we found out Malum was a Sand Tribe member, we got two of him, one for his normal look, and another to MOC into what he could look like in the Sand Tribe, using the armor and weapons of the Vorox, primarily the tail of the member he killed as a sorta spear whip like weapon)
Also you can say this was a Bota Magna Vorox or Kabrua himself (minus the chains), since they kept their intelligence unlike their Bara Magna cousins.
Also, do you plan on Mocing the Agori?
I've tried, but there just isn't much about them to "fix."

Nice. I like Bionicle Sets as is, but these mods of Nick's are something else. Not just his Bionicle moc's either. Vorox looks much fiercer that its original build.
These mods are so inspirational, fantastic take on Vorox here especially the broken chain!
Every moc you have shown is amazing
I always found Vorox to be a really strong build from this era of BIONICLE, and I like the extra storytelling done here with the chains and the AvP style weapons (Great reference with that)! I could see this being some aged alpha in a pack commanding authority from the others due to it's imposing presence and figure

You've definitely made that creature most Bestial in appearance indeed! And near Scorpion-like too! I myself had a go at recreating the Vorox in my own way; A little different, but good enough...

For the record this was the third response when looking up "Vorox". Not that "Vorox" will have much content, but somehow I feel that is important.
Love the busted chains, adds a nice bit of character. This definitely looks like an alpha type Vorox or maybe even a Vorox who can speak.

I’m really curious about that brown glatorian you’ve built.
I have gone through this video practically frame by frame, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how you connected the torso and rear mata foot to the spine. It’s a full-length “upper arm” connector making up the spine, right? I’m stumped here.

The only one I could really see myself modding is Nektann to look like the other Piraka. Their proportions an' whatnot are already so great, I don't wanna mess with that... 'cept maybe their one dinky Metru arm.
if you're out of mods, will you still continue making Glatorian MOCs? perhaps some bionicle story-videos? less like covering the actual lore and more about coming up with your own stories, that compliment the lore, something like that?
