Hi! Creator of Flak Furnished here, i feel super dishonest in how i presented my warpaint. What i did was select the best of the best seeds to showcase it, and i feel i couldve showcased it better, i plan to make a v2 later down the line that fixes some of those issues. I love that you love it but i hate that its not all that it seems 😭
@@Endiiii what I was planning to do is 4 things, add a new texture that is just the hazard stripe, then map that to the spots that they're already on in the showcase (because rn the location where the stripe appears is random), then make the grey secondary orientation (or uv locked), and add new detail to that, this current iteration was limited by how much I could achieve with park pigmented
-first thing to do, get rid off the wear system and make it instead as style. -add more strange stats clocks for higher tiers. warpaint got too much of random element to it. worse then hats.
33:30 theres a good point there, theres unusuals like smoking and the dimension unusual effects but the heads are still visible even if you cover you head with the smoke is not that intrussive
You should never have an unusual that can cover a part of the player’s head, they should only sit on top or behind the head. The only time front-of-face effects would be acceptable is as professional killstreaks, and even then that’s a difficult weight to balance, as this would still obscure too much of the face.

Visual updates are fine. Whether or not said visual updates are good is another thing. There are mutliple reasons not to do use those updated effects: - Value of said effects would likely change - They just don't look like they belong in TF2. As Zesty said, the old effects still adhere to the game's overall aesthetic for the most part. Newer effects and these updated effects really like to be dazzling and sparkling. Also I just don't see how the old unusuals look ancient. They look good. The only one I think could do with an improvement is the circling peace sign.

I feel like i have to go against the grain here and say that most criticisms of Funko Pops is misguided because it comes from the soy/consoomer memes. However, you need to also consider their place in the collectible figures market. They are inexpensive and still have lots of franchises to choose from. If we take tf2 figures as an example you can pay hundreds for a single Neca figure or a fraction of that for one or more Funko Pops even though scalpers are holding both types of figures hostage at the moment. That being said i don't understand why people get so many of them since they are supposed to be cheap. Maybe they want to fill their wall like maxmoefoe did but i think that this looks tacky.
