I appreciate you giving us the knowledge of different kinds of beehives that are out there and have been around for centuries. It is too bad that everything that you showed on your screen was unavailable to the reviewers watching this video. But it was interesting and I would like to thank you for trying to maintain the interest in honeybees. And preserving them for future generations to come.
Samy Ismael Our area, like so many others, use predominantly Langstroth hives. I personally and experimenting with and have a top bar, a polystyrene hive, a cedar hive, an 8 frame Langstroth hive and an all medium configuration. This year I'm adding a Warre hive to get experience with that too. I can't offer any meaningful feedback yet to pros or cons.

Have you done the experiment with trying out a few different types of hives and seeing what works best?
