Thank you, Billy is a very good presenter as well as a great beekeeper and has contributed so much to help us all be better beekeepers, he has been a real inspiration to myself for which I am grateful . I love the graph of the different stages of learning beekeeping and I have meet many three year keepers who know it all. Thanks again to Billy and to you for filming and saving this film for posterity best wishes, Phil Andrews, Hereford UK.
great video.....one of the key elements in making these videos is SOUND. always use a lapel mic on speaker via wireless to your camera....night and day. You can do it!! Do it for the bees!! :)
My point of view is not on the bees.It is on the enviroment, where they live .You know the stuff we can not see without a microscope. Over 8000 organism live in a hive that have been catalogued .It is just like a natural garden. You either take care of the plant because that is what you see,or you take care of the soil.I have raised garden and bees for 12 years now without a drop of chemicals . For cold crop like cabbage or brussel sprout I use spores .My point is try and think outside the box and you will see a lot about nature ,but I guess in science there is no money grants given to something that wont return a profit to the chemical industries. If you use chems in your hive then you will have to KEEP doing it.If you decide to stop, then the first year or two of weening off you will probably get hurt pretty bad.Great talk Billy.Thumbs up!
+John Eick I had a terrible time hearing Billy, which is a shame. I agree any presentation that is filmed should be mic'd to give clear sound. If he gives the presentation again I would re-film and get better sound.
This is one of those fantastic presentations that you need to watch at least once a year!
