അതു റിസർവ് forest ഉണ്ടാ ക്കലാണോ? പുഴയുടെ തീരം ചെരിഞ്ഞ് ഇറങ്ങുകയും അവിടെ ചെടികൾ ഉണ്ടാവുകയും വേണം. ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ തീരം ഇടിഞ്ഞു പോകും. ഭിത്തി കെട്ടിയാൽ വെള്ളം മലിനമാവുകയും ചെയ്യും.

തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിൽ പാവറട്ടി പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ പുഴയിൽ ചില കപട പരിസ്ഥിതി വാദികളും ഫോറസ്റ്റ് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റും ചേർന്ന് സോഷ്യൽ ഫോറസ്ട്രിയുടെ പേരിൽ ലക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ഫണ്ട് അഴിമതിക്ക് വേണ്ടി പുഴയിലും തീരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും കണ്ടൽ കാടുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി മൽസ്യ സമ്പത്തിനും ജനജീവിതത്തിനും ദോഷകരമായ രീതിയിൽ റിസർവ് ഫോറസ്റ്റിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പ്രവർത്തികളാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്. പുഴയുടെ സ്വഭാവികമായ ഘടനയെയും നീരൊഴുക്കിനെയും മത്സ്യ ബന്ധനം, കക്ക വാരൽ... പോലുള്ള തൊഴിലുകളെയും ദോഷകരമായി ബാധിക്കുന്ന രീതിൽ ഭ്രാന്തൻ കണ്ടൽ കൃഷി ചെയ്ത് വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും അതിന് വേണ്ടി റിസർവ് ഫോറസ്റ്റാക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതും ശെരിയാണോ ? പുഴയുടെ തീരം ഇടിയാതിരിക്കാൻ അവിടെ സ്വഭാവികമായ മറ്റു സസ്യങ്ങളും കുറ്റിക്കാടുകളുമൊക്കെയുണ്ട്.
