I fish the local Jetty in Northern California ( Humboldt ) not SF. Lol.... anyways..... we were slaying Salmon off the Jetty and a boater noticed and came right into our casting range, occasionally there is a few rouge waves that sneaks up and can get you wet, but for a boat.... it can launch them onto the jetty. I yelled at them to get out of there but like typical boat owners they think they own the world. Sure as shit, 20 min later his boat got smashed into the rocks and dragged out, dude did not make it and I am not swimming to save someone when i myself don’t have any flotation device. Two other passengers made it but the Captain sank with his boat.
A tip to make your trek a little easier.... Get some PVC pipe and cut it to length with a angle on one end makes it easy to stick in the ground and a lot lighter to carry lol

You don't need pliers to take hook out of fish. I use a stick. I saw the gills bleeding which means the fish will die. The fish I use a stick on never die. I fish for bluegill. Here is how it works. 1. I take a chop stick because the diameter of the chop stick is approx the same size as the gap between the barb and the shank of the hook. 2. Slide the stick down the fishes throat past the hook (which is embedded in the fish). 3. Pull the line tight along side of the stick and clamp it tight against the stick using your finger and thumb. 4. Now with the fish hanging loose (you are holding the fishes weight up by the stick pinched to the line) spin the fish round and round. 5.The line will wrap around the stick as you turn the fish until it gets tight and the hook will wrap around the stick and slip out of the fish. The fish will survive with no injury. I used to use pliers to catch bait fish but would loose up to 30% of my baits to death. Now I rarely loose a single fish. Jesus is coming soon but there is another coming who will claim to be the Christ. The world will believe him. Turn to Jesus before it is too late. He loves you and doesn't want you to be deceived or to go to hell. Repent of your sins and serve Him. Lord be with you.
You are bonnafied crazy in fishing in toxic waters, even for fun. There are signs everywhere after the Lynchburg Ferry not to fish due to high mercury in the water. People that fish past the Lynchburg y'all just begging for your next born to have antlers pointing out of your child's heads. Back in the 80-90s I use to fish with friends at Port Houston Park and onto Ceder Bluff rail road, I hated walking onto an active rail bridge. It's scary when a train pass buy everything is vibrating rapidly as you holding on for dear life while on the other hand your fishing rod. We were young and foolish back then, now that I have a boat the farthest I'll come in is between Eagals Point and Smith's Point just to be safe. Be careful out there, you're young but not invincible.

I fished the bayous a lot a few years ago. I've caught 6ft gar in downtown, big cats, big carp, ect. I made a few videos of some hard-core urban fishing. I took all of them down because they started hurting my channel big time.
Man I worked at that plant on a weekly basis for about 9 years. 69th Street down off marcario Garcia. It actually is safe to eat the fish and I have seen some massive ones right out there.
Every year, a canoe race from the Galleria area to Allen's Landing on Baffalo Bayou is held...it is called "The Reeking Regatta". Buffalo Bayou has long been known for its pollution, foul odor, and unnatural water color. Water quality has been far below contact quality since before I was born. I recognize this area as around the 69th street area on the east end just before the bayou becomes the Ship Channel. I'm surpsied the fishing hook did not dissolve or that the fish didn't have three eyes and hands.
I grew up in Houston in the late 50s and 60s and even then we had better fishing water. Used to go out to just west of Eldritch Rd on I-10 and Addicks just below the dams. Lots of monster carp and gar in the swift water and big cats downstream. We'd throw cast nets into the eddys just off the swift water and have trouble landing them they'd be so full of stuff.
I'm 30 and we used to stick our hands into the bayou to catch turtles. I still can't believe I ever did something like that. Sometimes the water was rushing and we almost fell in a few times. I feel so sad for that man and his family.
UPDATE: His friends dared him to jump and swim in the bayou.

Ive seen it happen on the Brazos river behind a dam.Guy got swept away right in front of me.When the alarm goes off be on higher ground, just a bad deal..😬
Ah man, that's one of my biggest fears of fishing a dam.
Really!? I fish in NE Texas at Cooper lake, and when they sound the siren the water rises maybe 6 inches. I learned that one time fishing back there, and I was the only fool running to higher ground. No one else even flinched. Lol
Damn bro shits crazy, stay safe while fishing!
Thanks man!
Fishing in a sewer, surely better places to soak a line.
I wouldn't eat anything that touched that water. Not sure who pointed that location out to you for fishing but certainly not a friend!! Lol
It’s not about eating it it’s about catching beasts catch and release
A tip to make your trek a little easier.... Get some PVC pipe and cut it to length with a angle on one end makes it easy to stick in the ground and a lot lighter to carry lol
share the knowledge 🙂
Sad to here what happened, bless his soul but I work at a waste plant and love wildlife so I’m careful what we allow downstream but I will say..... don’t eat the fish that eat the floaters from a waste plant ..... I’m just saying ... 😏✌🏼
You already have but don't know it
You don't need pliers to take hook out of fish.
Man, now that's some sketchy shit lol. That's one thing I've never done. Crazy stuff man. There is a study in regards to genetics mutations that have raised in the general area, especially low income areas that state that the children have had significant risk for childhood cancers. This whole area is extremely nasty. Sucks having to be born in such a helpless situation.
Yeah i believe anything north of the Fred Hartman bridge is a no go as far as eating.
Amazing how the EMS guys saw the guy limping and in pain and offered no help. I was ems for twelve years we helped anyone who needed it or at the very least we asked " hey man you are limping you okay" We can wrap that ankle for you. Oh well
In the 70's the city of Spokane wa used to dump 160,000 gallons of overflow from the sewage treatment plant directly into the Spokane river. The river did not look as bad as that bayou.
Ohio towns along the Ohio River still do. Southern Ohio is bad for it.
That’s nuts, would you eat fish caught in the Spokane River? or far until it you’d consider safe
You're brave bud...I wouldn't eat any fish out of that water. I've lived here all my life and have never been down to that bayou. It just looks dirty.
Thanks for sharing though.
Its really nasty down there. I definitely wouldn't eat anything out of there lol.
You are a very brave and diverse fisherman. I love me a fishing adventure... but that area looked like death from the beginning. I'd not even want to drive by that water way... DISGUSTING!
this happens on the central coast of California where people think because of the temperature outside that they can swim in the water, no
Dang that sucks man
There's no way I would put my skin in contact with that water! I'm sure that you guys could find a better fishing spot than that!!!
We were bored and decided to come here lol.
Wonder why it stinks......treated waste water... .oh ya
@@mikepedersen9520Because it's just piss and shit
Do all y'all know that if y'all live in the city then your drinking that shit water as well. Hope y'all city people know that. And if u don't believe me then look up RUclips video on it.
So happy I live in country, with 100% well water. Nice and clean.
I work down the street from there. I always think of going to fish there on my lunch break.
Pancho Villa hahahah holy fck
Go fish there then Holmes. Don’t live your life and thinking what could of been.
Hell yeah, fishing in piss and shit water.
“This is it” HAHA ! I know this place. This is where they caught the three eyed fish in the simpsons. It also looks like the aftermath of the toxic tower exploding in robocop. YOU GUYS ARE THERE WITH NO GLOVES 🧤 ? You’d be thankful to get h.i.v. there. That spot is the definition of if’y.
Id be wearing gloves if I were you.
I'm sorry that you had to witness that. I'm sorry for the family.
I don’t think I would fish in that area ever 🤢😬
Depressing place huh
Beach Bomber Fishing you got that right
Wow this was the perfect collab I was looking for lol. 💩 I knew Wild Life was doing whatever it takes for the Game in our city bayous. I see you did as well! Hard work did pay off for the ultimate sacrifice. What did it smell like?
I fished the bayous a lot a few years ago. I've caught 6ft gar in downtown, big cats, big carp, ect. I made a few videos of some hard-core urban fishing. I took all of them down because they started hurting my channel big time.
@@BeachBomberFishing that's real interesting and I understand. To each his own and do what's best at what you do.
looks to me the only thing you will catch there is cancer..man you are braver than me.
As soon as I saw all that white foam I knew something wasn’t right
Lmao I cant believe you are fishing that bayou bro. You should try port rd. Off of 146.
I have fished there too. I lived right down the road from there.
I live in kemah on the water....sum good dock fishing!
Coming to a Bayou near you …
The Toxic Avenger 5: Bayou Force
I thought this was an episode of "the wire"
I keeps one in the chamber in case you pondering
Man I worked at that plant on a weekly basis for about 9 years. 69th Street down off marcario Garcia. It actually is safe to eat the fish and I have seen some massive ones right out there.
Remember back in the day this was about same location of that (I'm guessing lost) manatee/sea cow? Y'all remember!?? I know I do lol
Yep I remember that! That was along time ago back in 95. I was still a kid lolm
Damn a hike was right I would've killed myself getting down their 😆 🤣 😂 be safe
Every year, a canoe race from the Galleria area to Allen's Landing on Baffalo Bayou is held...it is called "The Reeking Regatta". Buffalo Bayou has long been known for its pollution, foul odor, and unnatural water color. Water quality has been far below contact quality since before I was born. I recognize this area as around the 69th street area on the east end just before the bayou becomes the Ship Channel. I'm surpsied the fishing hook did not dissolve or that the fish didn't have three eyes and hands.
Aint no way i would even let my tackle touch that water, to many bodies been found their.
Mr_Fields 😲
Damn the water condition in here is so bad! I thought you stop doing video for along time.
Fishing in doo doo. Great bro. U 2 guys should Fish in ur toilet like ice fishing
Sorry to this man...
RIP
I'm 30 and we used to stick our hands into the bayou to catch turtles. I still can't believe I ever did something like that. Sometimes the water was rushing and we almost fell in a few times. I feel so sad for that man and his family.
