Has anyone had the soft close mechanism fail? mine is now stuck in the locked position and won't reset
@@dav441983 haven't had that but can you try hard resetting the car and see if it releases? Or can you access it somehow from going through the back seats and release it?
@@MarkTBencze I tried disconnecting the cable from the unit, but nothing, and I can't see anyway on the unit to release the wire.
It's the lid catch part you were attaching in the boot around the 42/43 minute mark.
@@dav441983 honestly, my best advice at this point is to probably reach out to Ev offer support or whomever you bought yours from and ask what to do. They might have some advice that I don't have or have thought of
