  • Wash day using the new Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer [gifting - no obligation to post]
I’ve not been using this for long but I’ve been really excited about this launch from Dyson as there’s new built-in tech to protect the scalp as much as possible.
As someone that’s had so many issues with my scalp previously I am conscious of doing more to shield it from irritation and damage. It’s hard to tell the differences between this and my older Supersonic at the moment in terms of results but something that stands out already is the sensor which automatically adjusts the heat as you bring the hairdryer closer or further away from your hair. The idea is to simplify drying further, keep it fast and limit heat damage.
I love that we also finally have a new diffuser as well which I think the curlies with longer hair will appreciate as you can remove the top so you’re essentially left with a bowl you can dry your hair in. It is now a bulkier attachment but I think that will be a game changer when drying. This hairdryer also remembers the settings you used for each of your attachments which I just think is super clever.
I’ll keep you guys posted though on how I get on using it as I appreciate it’s an investment and I want to use a bit more before I give a verdict on whether this makes a real difference in comparison to the standard Supersonic. I’ve loved and used my Supsersonic for years and that’s already pretty gentle on my hair so I’m intrigued to see how this new one stacks up.

What's the difference between this & the normal one?

just google it, but the main difference is the 'nural' feature where it has a scalp protect mode where there's a sensor that detects the difference of the dryer from your scalp/head, the closer you get the lower the heat intensity is ,so it maintains about 55 celsius and doesn't damage your hair n scalp

Yes as the reply commented the main difference is the sensor which is there to protect too much heat on the scalp and the 'attachment learning' feature which means the device applies the last settings you used for each attachment. The attachment themselves are also slightly different and created to work with this dryer
