I own all the hair tools of Dyson and I can confidently say that they could have easily merged the Supersonic + Airwrap and airstrait into one single device that was 1800 watts. It's all the matter of selling more. all the mentioned three tools use the same concept. I prefer one powerfull engine + lots of attachments and a chip on board that could adjust the temp and engine power depending on the mode being used (Drying, styling, Ironing effect). That would have been impressive. But honestly Dyson is not anything especial. the only useful one for me is Dyson Coralle and v15 vacuum cleaner. the rest can easily be avoided. Though I had the money and it did not break my pocket BUT I ended up buying Revlon one brush which was under 100 bucks and I use that one way more than my Dysons. Dysons look cool on my toiletry table though.
I treated myself to an Air Wrap a couple months ago. QVC had a TSV so it came with extras plus you could make 5 payments. I'm 68 and have shoulder/wrist/hand issues and was having trouble drying my fine long hair so finally figured this might be helpful. For me it's been worth every penny. I scalp trained during the pandemic so I only wash my hair twice a week. The Dyson dries and straightens my hair in between 5-10 minutes and weighs less than my Revlon styler. Quieter too. I got 6 attatchments and haven't used them all but I have no desire to curl my hair (my hair won't hold a curl even if I wanted it) I want it smooth. So, for me at this stage of life, it was worth it even only using a couple attatchments. I can always sell the others along with the special stand to recoup part of my investment. I've never spent that much on any tool but at least I shouldn't have to buy anything else and it makes my life easier...and that's everything to me right now.
Do u know of any places that offer donated makeup items to women who are less fortunate but also love to play with makeup? And would like to test out and try out different makeup to their skin type. Sorry such a long question but I figured you might know?
My Dyson Airwrap had to be repaired and it took over a month for the whole process. I used a traditional dryer, air dried and Revlon dryer brush while it was gone. Traditional hair tools really made the condition of my hair much worse. The Airwrap delivers less heat so even if you also have to use a straightener overall the hair gets less heat on it.
I only used the brushes on the Airwrap for ages before I got used to the barrels, and still loved it far more than other tools, because the results lasted longer than others I'd tried, and my hair condition dramatically improved. It is possible to get a straighter, sleeker result with the Airwrap brushes, but there's a technique to it - I gave away my straighteners because of it.
Dyson hairdryer, airwrap and straightener saved my hair. I have fine, bleached hair. Less heat that Dyson provides, saved my hair. That alone is worth for me to pay extra $$ for their hair tools. 😀If I had thick, corse hair that take all abuse well ( or didn't care if I had occasional breakage) I would be ok with Revlon hair tools. 😉 I got the Airstrait and it is another wonderfull hair tool, however it took all the volume out of my hair... I just don't have enough hair on my head for stick straight hairstyle.🙃
I've had the Dyson Airwrap from the beginning of its introduction. It has replaced my Dyson Hairdryer and a curling iron. I can go from wet to wavy or curly with just one tool...the Dyson Airwrap. I could get my hair straight with this tool and have done that...but I like a little wave or some curl. Its the best hair tool I have ever used. Its also lightweight and doesn't make my hands or arms sore. It make drying and curling my hair easy with just one tool...no dryer and curling iron. It uses less heat, so it isn't damaging my hair. Touch ups on second or third day hair are easy and nothing I would have tried with any other tool.
I have the original Dyson Supersonic and have had it almost 6 years. I’m in the market for the air straight and these have bee super helpful. I knew I could come to you for a good, helpful review
Loving seeing the results of the Airstrait. I've seen multiple people use it and love how it looks. I would love to try it out. I have very long, fine, thin hair, it's also dyed red. I would love to see how long my hair last with this, but it's so expensive 😔
I totally agree that the Airwrap isn't worth the money if you don't use all the attachments. I would only use the smoothing brushes, so I chose the Airstrait instead because I have fine hair that gets frizzy, so the Airstrait is perfect.
You mentioned using Pureolgy The Color Fanatic with your color treatment and I want to THANK YOU! It's the best product ever... for my (previously) dry color treated stands. I was seeking tips for my new Airwrap, and you're right: Dyson should sell the dryer only version for people who don't wear a daily blowout or need those extra attachments. This was a great video. You give lots of helpful critique regarding each tool also. Luving it ALL! ❤
@@Milabuco I am so so happy! My hair care routine has changed for the better. I've found the right products to keep my color brilliant... thanks to YOU! I cannot thank you enough! I didn't know Pureolgy existed until you mentioned it as aside note. No response needed here...I just wanted to expound on some thoughts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge though, and please keep it up!
If you have fine hair and the original dryer, definitely try the smoothing attachment first if you’re just looking to straighten. It acts just like a flat iron on my hair. I could touch up with an iron if I wanted to but it’s not worth the additional time and heat.
Your comment helped me a lot. I bought the airwrap and also the supersonic dryer. And I was tempting to get the air strait but I have thin straight hair and overall with the supersonic alone I get straight hair! I use the air warp if I want some curls so after u comment I won’t be buying the air strat I don’t need it
I have both and they work very well. I have thick long hair and I like to always have my hair done. I use the air wrap for a bouncy blow out and my airstriat for more of a straighten press.
If they could come up with a tool that gives the same amount of tension that a brush and blowdryer have, then I would be interested. I want to love the air wrap but my hair is just too difficult to straighten.
I ordered and use Airstrait for a week and returned it, I’m asian and 5 ft tall, my hands are small and my wrist were strained very bad, I have watch 10 videos including yours unfortunately no one mentions how heavy the airstrait, also it’s wire has this bulky adaptor in between like those old printers that makes it so much heavier than just the item itself
With Dyson Airstraight I just saw ways to get volume/ movement at the roots and tuck at the end of the hair. You need to use all the features. This good for people workout allot and wash their hair every day. Because its so controlled it seems to preserve the hair the best.
I had the same results as you. The Airstrait is worth every penny it’s replaced all my tools. I’ve never had good results with the Airwrap,Supersonic or the Corrale straightener. I have them all. I’m always in search for a great product my hair is worth it. 😊I’ve also owned all the wet to dry appliances out but they are all terrible. Honestly they all fry my hair I’m constantly purchasing repairing products. Airstrait gives me a salon blow out in 20 minutes flat. It used to take me 1 1/2 hrs to style my hair and now only 20 minutes with only a heat protectant and no other products. This in the end is going to save me money because I won’t need a ton of products to tame my long frizzy hair. The Airstrait leaves my hair glossy, soft and no heat sizzle damage. The Airstrait doesn’t require a brush to wet hair for tension to give glossy frizz free results. Just to think that I used to brush my hair while wet and then applied heat to it makes me cringe. Not anymore! I’m going to save money because I won’t be purchasing a ton of repairing products. This is a game changer! ❤❤❤
I just got the airstrait and have a question, is there any way to curl the ends with it? I love the bouncy look from a salon blowout, but can’t get it on my own (I’m uncoordinated). I love this so far, but I don’t like the stick-straight ends. Would using it closed with a round brush at the ends work?
I finally bought the Dyson airwrap after years of wanting it but never had the money.. I love it but now I'm wishing I waited for another year or so because I would of bought the Dyson airstrait instead because it's more up my alley, I have thick hair and I always have to go in with a flat iron after using the airwrap.. I think I'm gunna wait until sephora has another sale going on so I can get the Dyson airstrait.. and who knows what will happen with my airwrap afterwards might replace it 😮
I would like to see if the Dyson Airstraight can put a subtle wave in the hair…Like just enough for body? I would like to see if it can give a voluminous sleek straight wave rather than a bone straight style?
Thank you for the review. My daughter said the air straight made her hair too straight which I can see. I happen to like the look for me. I would travel with the air wrap, more uses.
I have the Dyson Airwrap and I love it. My hair is quite curly and I have never been able to achieve the styles I can do with this. For me, it’s worth it.
you are the only one i trust when it comes to hair products, do you think the new airwrap is more violent than the old model? I'm sure the new airwrap has a much stronger and extremely warmer airflow!
It's still a no no. The Airstrait does not use hot plates (like ceramic, titanium, etc.) to straighten the hair. It just uses air, but instead of a nozzle like on a hairdryer you have the flat iron shape.
To the both of you.... I know that, it was a joke... hense the reason I said "oh how technology has advanced" 😒🙄 I have it I know how it works. But thank you.
Maybe I'm missing something but to me both sides of her head looked the same. Also, she said both were expensive but only gave the price on the Airwrap which was $600. I just watched a Brad Mondo video on the Airstrait and he mentioned it was $500. Yes both are very expensive but the price difference between the two is still only $100. I guess it really depends on what you're looking for. If you only want super straight and nothing else, you buy the Airstrait for $500. If you don't need super straight but want the ability to make your hair wavy or add curls you get the Airwrap which has 6? attachments for $600.
Loved this review and I own the airwrap. Airstrait hasn’t got released in Europe and they don’t know if it’s gonna be this year, which is odd to take this long… What I keep seeing on reviews are the roots on top of the head, they always seem to be more frizzy than with the airwrap. Did you feel that?❤❤
Thanks for doing this video. I might pick up the airstrait. I purchased the airwrap and god I wanted to love it so bad but I couldnt get it to work for me. I have thick hair and tried everything under the sun to get good results (which honestly for $600 i shouldnt have to do) but my dyson blow dryer gave a way better blow out and the curls didnt last.
I bought my og airwrap back in 2019 when they only had 2 options - the 7 piece $550, or the one that was about $100-$150 less, but with only 3(?) pieces. Of course the less expensive one didn’t have the attachment I needed as a part of it so yea, I had to spend more $$.. to this day I still only use that one piece so yea it’s definitely not worth it if you don’t use all of the pieces but I didn’t have as many options back then! Of course I’m looking at the airstraight now 😂 but I still love my airwrap! I don’t think dyson will ever sell the base, and then pieces separately.. I think they’d actually get a lot more money selling them separately!
The first time I used my Dyson AirStrait, my hair wasn’t so perfect, now I’m obsessed, maybe the cream that I’m using has to do with it, the Briogeo Farewell 😊
Pausing before I watch the video, the flat iron will win. :) The brush is great - I use it as a drying step when I know I want to straighten my hair. (I have 2c/3a hairtype). It cuts my straightening time in half, and reduce the amount of heat I need to use on my hair.
Can you compare it to the original circle fan pre-styler attachment? I know that Dyson told everyone that you weren't supposed to place your hair through it but it feels like the Airstrait is doing what the fan attachment used to do.
I may purchase as I’m trying not to keratin my hair. As a result I have to blow dry & flat iron a bit more which is not great for my hair. I’d like to use the Airstrait , then gently use my curling iron to get some soft waves.
Wow your hair looks so healthy! 😮 I have Dyson airwrap and I can’t wait for Dysosn Airstrait to come to Europe. Unfortunately, my hair are frizzy, using airwrap takes hours to straight them (and still they are frizzy, so in addition I use hair straightener). I hope airstrait will handle frizzy hair (I don’t need straight hair just no frizz would be a miracle). 😅
I live in hot and humid weather plus i have extremely frizzy wavy hair. The airwrap takes a lot of time and alsoy hair returns to their original form in 3-4 hrs. I haven't used airstraight but i think it will work better for extremely frizzy hair
Love your videos. I would love someone to try and style their hair with a curling iron after using the air strait. I’m curious how the curls would look and would they last or fall out quickly. I always blow my hair straight then style and wondering if this is the tool I need. I get it will straighten the hair, but curious about how curls would hold up after using this tool first. Also have you tried removing the copper attachments, for getting closer to the roots for fly aways and baby hair smoothing? Thanks
Mallory Brooke just did a video on this. She says using the air strait works great to prime the hair for longer lasting curls using an iron. But only if you don’t use the cool setting to lock the straight style in place.
I bought the airstrait because my hair is curly (not super it has definitely died down because of excessive hot tools -I use heat 350F protectant-) and my main goal is to make doing my hair easier for the school year. The airstrait is basically a 2 in 1. I had the revlon brush and ofc ik the Dyson airwrap is much better but the brush concept didn’t exactly work for my hair and I think it will make my hair harder to work with. Cool barrel tho. I would buy just the barrel for 250 if they sold it separately
I’ve seen videos and honestly I think the air strait is better because the other one combs and the air is out unlike the other one it closes and has airflow targeting the hair
Honestly If I want to spend money like really spend it I would go for the strait one I can later add curls using curlers or anything that would curl my hair Instead of the airwrap which we probably will get it (99% of us women) just for the curlers in it most of the time so it's not worth spending that much money on it since we have alternatives right
Hello Milabu, You did a very good and comprehensive comaprison with good selections of features and products! First I want to buy Airstrat cos I want to infuse the hair oil as treatment to my hair. But it is quite expensive for just one function. Do you think the Airwrap brush can infuse the oils into my hair? I have fizzy straight hair. Which one you think better? Love to hear you
I am curious if the straight hair lasts long enough though? I tried Airwrap, and unfortunately it doesn't last as long as a curling wand. What is your experience?
Since the airstrait wattage is the same as the supersonic, instead of it being a one trick pony with straightening and you want to just smooth out hair before using a curling iron, can you use the airstrait as a normal hair dryer that would be just as good as the supersonic?
There is no way the air straight is designed for curly /frizzy hair. It seems Dyson only makes hair products for fine already straight or light wavy hair. Anything else and your hair is guaranteed to frizz
Watch more videos, black women with coiled hair, it really works!! My hair is super frizzy after blow drying and desperately needs a flat iron. Not with the Airstrait, I have weird frizzy wavy hair.
I just bought two weeks and a half ago the air wrap for $599 and I regret it because I don’t use it and the 15 days for return is gone 😣 I can’t return it anymore,I bought it from Best Buy 😣
Glad it was helpful! I always state in the video and description if review was/is incentivized. It’s the law :) and no, this review is not incentivized.
Dyson honestly has great hair products. It's trial and error to find what works for you, but I really appreciate their quality and innovation. (I do have the Airwrap and the Straightener.)
Really thinking of getting the airwrap. I have such fine hair and need a way to heat style with minimal damage. Its a little cheaper than the airwrap and I can always pin curl my hair to get more volume so its not always just pin straight result
Finally got my Airwrap May 30th and by June 7 had to reach out to Dyson for troubleshooting because it started to blink red and even after all the measures to try to make it work they have decided the solution is to exchange it as it was faulty. I am now in the process of sending and exchanging it. It was brand new from Ulta which blew my mind. I have thin, fine hair and don’t use much products aside from heat protectant. I was willing to go through the process of learning the whole curling attachment thing I am just scared when my new Airwrap comes that I would still not like the results even if the machine works this time.
1st time watching yuur channel and here for the dyson hairtools. Your honest review betweent the two tools is very uswful. i m debating which one to buy already and i have to subscribe to your channel first. Tahnk you pls keep up the good work and honest reveiw!
So I have the ghd duet style and I feel like the heat isn’t doing much good for my hair. I’m considering buying the air straight, but would like your opinion. What’s better? The air straight or the normal blow dryer?
Does this mean that the Airstrait would be less damaging than a traditional flat iron? 🤷♀️ I’m trying to decide what would be best the “healthier” option for my hair
The highest setting on the Airstrait is 285 degrees, except for Boost mode (I'm not sure about that one). Yes, I would think it's much safer for your hair than a flat iron.
Most definitely the Airstrait is much better less heat and u don’t have to wait for ur hair to dry to style it with the Airstrait. The Airstrait is an All-In-One. I haven’t noticed any damage using my Airstrait I use it 3x/week. I don’t curi my hair because my hair has never been able to hold a curl. 🌸🌸🌸
I have airwrap and it straightens my wavy hair in less than ten minutes and it is such a lifesaver. But if I buy the Dyson air straightener, do you think it can make my hair silky straight?
i don’t really get how getting the airwrap for 1 or 2 attachments for 600 isn’t worth it but getting the airstrait for 500 when you can’t even get a wave with it and in most hair types doesn’t even straits it correctly is 🤷🏻♀️
@@staceyackerson5197 i keep watching airstrait videos and every time I feel like it doesn’t look much better than what you get with a revlon-type brush for 100 dollars less than the airwrap that has the round brush the smoothing brush AND the barrels?!! I live in latam im not getting any of these any time soon but if I could get one i feel like it’s not even a question which one i’d choose
@@mikaela1748 I have the Revlon brush and it causes a ton of damage. I also own every Dyson hair appliance and every high end appliance in the market. I’m a big high end hair product junky. I haven’t noticed any damage with the Airstrait. 🌸🌸🌸
Im pretty sure they made this product so loud so they can come out w the new version not so loud . Cuz I’m pretty sure they could make it not so loud it’s annoying . It’s louder than my regular blow dryer
I have a new ghd flat iron and a new Dyson hair dryer ( love it but expensive) I wish I knew they were going to come out with this to buy it instead. I live in Denver in case someone wants to buy the tools from me
Thanks for this! Which one would you recommend for straightening out bangs and some volume...? My bangs are like woody woodpecker. They are flat against my forehead but curvy like woody woodpecker, if that makes any sense. I would like them to have some lift and be straight! I can't figure out which would be better for me! The Dyson air straight is absolutely amazing.
Exactly. My hair looked crispy when I used the Revlon brush.
@@calliew311omg that Revlon brush fried my head😡😭
I got the Airstrait and it is another wonderfull hair tool, however it took all the volume out of my hair...
Do you think the airwrap is a good pick if you have curly hair that you want to straight but also want to have waves
I have the original Dyson Supersonic and have had it almost 6 years. I’m in the market for the air straight and these have bee super helpful. I knew I could come to you for a good, helpful review
For the airwrap they should sell the machine separately without the attachments and then people can purchase whatever attachment they need 👌
Agreed! I hope they offer this in the future
@@Milabuco me too!! Especially if the device was to ever die. God forbid!! But would hate to have to order the full set
If you buy from Dyson then you can kind of customize it, at least where I live. They have options for short hair long hair curly hair fine hair etc.
Does that work well for you?
Do you find you can curl your hair ends under with the airstrait or does hair only come out poker straight? Thanks 😊
@@dr.m6152not as well as I hoped. I have fine, wavy hair and usually still need to quickly use a flat iron to get it as sleek as Milana's.
So glad it was helpful! Thank you so much for your encouraging words ❤️
@@Milabuco which one is better? :)
Let me know in the comment section!
Any other European binge watching airstrait reviews without the possibility to purchase one here? It’s killing me
If you have fine hair and the original dryer, definitely try the smoothing attachment first if you’re just looking to straighten.
I use the air wrap for a bouncy blow out and my airstriat for more of a straighten press.
do you mind sharing what products you use on your blowout please because I have thick hair also but the blowout doesn’t last longer than an hour
@@sairasairasaira757 I use both the DryBar jumpstart quick dry blowout serum and olaplex bonding oil
If they could come up with a tool that gives the same amount of tension that a brush and blowdryer have, then I would be interested. I want to love the air wrap but my hair is just too difficult to straighten.
Great video thanks! Shame you didn't use the airwrap finisher tool in the end to see if it adds the sleek look too🤔
I like the airwrap and brush because I can dry my roots with it 😃 That alone made the investment worthwhile for me.🎉
Would love to see you do a comparison of the dyson air strait and the dyson hair straightener ❤
I ordered and use Airstrait for a week and returned it, I’m asian and 5 ft tall, my hands are small and my wrist were strained very bad, I have watch 10 videos including yours unfortunately no one mentions how heavy the airstrait, also it’s wire has this bulky adaptor in between like those old printers that makes it so much heavier than just the item itself
girl, you need to start working out bc when you're older, you will be in big trouble. start with training your grip strength and good luck!!

Love my airwrap, just because it does so much. The bone straight look isn't my goal, so no airstraight for me.
This video exactly what I search a lot of times ❤ Thank you
I’m really curious about battle corrale VS airstrait. That would be interesting.
I think I'm gunna wait until sephora has another sale going on so I can get the Dyson airstrait.. and who knows what will happen with my airwrap afterwards might replace it 😮
Airwrap does not straighte your hair??
I would like to see if the Dyson Airstraight can put a subtle wave in the hair…Like just enough for body? I would like to see if it can give a voluminous sleek straight wave rather than a bone straight style?
I think volume comes more with the Airwrap
Thank you for the review. My daughter said the air straight made her hair too straight which I can see. I happen to like the look for me. I would travel with the air wrap, more uses.
I have the Dyson Airwrap and I love it. My hair is quite curly and I have never been able to achieve the styles I can do with this.
For me, it’s worth it.
I need the dyson air strait to come out in the uk 😭😭
Thanks for the friendly and clear review, Milana. Really helpful! ❤
you are the only one i trust when it comes to hair products, do you think the new airwrap is more violent than the old model? I'm sure the new airwrap has a much stronger and extremely warmer airflow!
I remember when straightening your hair when wet was a no-no 😂 oh how technology has advanced lol
Ikr, those wet to dry hair straighteners they used to sell 😬 I can hear the sizzling just thinking about it lol
Is not a straighter
Maybe I'm missing something but to me both sides of her head looked the same. Also, she said both were expensive but only gave the price on the Airwrap which was $600. I just watched a Brad Mondo video on the Airstrait and he mentioned it was $500. Yes both are very expensive but the price difference between the two is still only $100. I guess it really depends on what you're looking for. If you only want super straight and nothing else, you buy the Airstrait for $500. If you don't need super straight but want the ability to make your hair wavy or add curls you get the Airwrap which has 6? attachments for $600.
Thanks for this video. Glad i waited for the airstrait here in the UK.
Loved this review and I own the airwrap. Airstrait hasn’t got released in Europe and they don’t know if it’s gonna be this year, which is odd to take this long…
What I keep seeing on reviews are the roots on top of the head, they always seem to be more frizzy than with the airwrap.
Did you feel that?❤❤
Her roots do look puffer with the airstrait...as a curly girl I would need the air wrap.
Also weird because they're a British company.
The first time I used my Dyson AirStrait, my hair wasn’t so perfect, now I’m obsessed, maybe the cream that I’m using has to do with it, the Briogeo Farewell 😊
hey does it actually style hair without any heat?
I just love your videos and reviews! You're the best! ❤
Thank you so much!!
I reckon that is what gave them the idea!!
I may purchase as I’m trying not to keratin my hair. As a result I have to blow dry & flat iron a bit more which is not great for my hair. I’d like to use the Airstrait , then gently use my curling iron to get some soft waves.
Sonunda öncesi sonrası geçiş olmayan bir güvenilir video buldum teşekkürler
Wow your hair looks so healthy! 😮 I have Dyson airwrap and I can’t wait for Dysosn Airstrait to come to Europe. Unfortunately, my hair are frizzy, using airwrap takes hours to straight them (and still they are frizzy, so in addition I use hair straightener). I hope airstrait will handle frizzy hair (I don’t need straight hair just no frizz would be a miracle). 😅
Hello can you do Dyson air strait vs the newest shark straight attachment.
I live in hot and humid weather plus i have extremely frizzy wavy hair. The airwrap takes a lot of time and alsoy hair returns to their original form in 3-4 hrs. I haven't used airstraight but i think it will work better for extremely frizzy hair
it does work extremely good on frizzy hair. I myself have the dyson airstraigt and it’s sooo good for EXTREMELY frizzy and long thick hair
You should be using the newer version of the Airwrap for comparison. Its common knowledge that the old version is no good
Love your videos.
But only if you don’t use the cool setting to lock the straight style in place.
the roots arent being put under tension on the airstrait. even for us straight hair girls, gotta have some directional control over the roots!
Your hair is so easy to work with!!! Mine is the definition of a nightmare lol
Great comparison video, thank you
Thanks for watching!
I’ve seen videos and honestly I think the air strait is better because the other one combs and the air is out unlike the other one it closes and has airflow targeting the hair
Your dress is amazing
May I ask from where did you get it?
Thank you for giving such a great and honest review.
Honestly If I want to spend money like really spend it I would go for the strait one
I can later add curls using curlers or anything that would curl my hair
Instead of the airwrap which we probably will get it (99% of us women) just for the curlers in it most of the time so it's not worth spending that much money on it since we have alternatives right
I have coarse hair and the airstrait was a no for me. My hair was poofy. I had to use a flat iron over it. Safe to say I returned the tool.
I have both the supersonic and the air strait… the supersonic dryer is much more powerful. They serve very different purposes so I still need both 🫣
Thanks for the comparison.
There is no way the air straight is designed for curly /frizzy hair. It seems Dyson only makes hair products for fine already straight or light wavy hair. Anything else and your hair is guaranteed to frizz
I bought it it works and my hair is Curly AF
Watch more videos, black women with coiled hair, it really works!! My hair is super frizzy after blow drying and desperately needs a flat iron. Not with the Airstrait, I have weird frizzy wavy hair.
I just bought two weeks and a half ago the air wrap for $599 and I regret it because I don’t use it and the 15 days for return is gone 😣 I can’t return it anymore,I bought it from Best Buy 😣
Did the airstraight side stay smooth throughout the day?
Thank you, this is the review I needed (although these days, it's always helpful to state whether the review was incentivized)
Glad it was helpful! I always state in the video and description if review was/is incentivized. It’s the law :) and no, this review is not incentivized.
I don’t use hairstyles equipment anymore. But if someday I want my hair without my natural curls I will use the Aisrtrait
Dyson honestly has great hair products. It's trial and error to find what works for you, but I really appreciate their quality and innovation. (I do have the Airwrap and the Straightener.)
Airstrait looks amazing
Awesome comparison!! Thanks for the video!
Which one's less damaging? Airstrait or Airwrap?
Airstraight
I was so close to buying the Dyson Gen5detect but then saw they were running budle saver, and now I am just procrastinating again 😢😂
The air strait is really more for ppl have fine to medium hair
Air wrap is far batter. It straightens and curls. Airstrait as compared is way too expensive to be value for money.
Can the air strainer do flips or curl under etc?
Really thinking of getting the airwrap. I have such fine hair and need a way to heat style with minimal damage. Its a little cheaper than the airwrap and I can always pin curl my hair to get more volume so its not always just pin straight result
Can curls be done with airstraight
Finally got my Airwrap May 30th and by June 7 had to reach out to Dyson for troubleshooting because it started to blink red and even after all the measures to try to make it work they have decided the solution is to exchange it as it was faulty. I am now in the process of sending and exchanging it. It was brand new from Ulta which blew my mind. I have thin, fine hair and don’t use much products aside from heat protectant. I was willing to go through the process of learning the whole curling attachment thing I am just scared when my new Airwrap comes that I would still not like the results even if the machine works this time.
Can it work on dry hair as well with the brush?
1st time watching yuur channel and here for the dyson hairtools. Your honest review betweent the two tools is very uswful. i m debating which one to buy already and i have to subscribe to your channel first. Tahnk you pls keep up the good work and honest reveiw!
So I have the ghd duet style and I feel like the heat isn’t doing much good for my hair. I’m considering buying the air straight, but would like your opinion. What’s better? The air straight or the normal blow dryer?
Looooove this video! I was in between those two, but now I am down for the air strainer
Does the Dyson airwrap damage your hair due to heat?
Can you purchase Airwrap attachments separately for the Super Sonic?
Air wrap attachments will not fit on the Super Sonic dryer, unfortunately.
@@traciewarren1070 Thanks for letting me know.
@@SweetZuni Thank you! I will definitely look into it. I’m really fascinated by the Airstrait

Hv u applied any heat protector product
I have airwrap and it straightens my wavy hair in less than ten minutes and it is such a lifesaver. But if I buy the Dyson air straightener, do you think it can make my hair silky straight?
i don’t really get how getting the airwrap for 1 or 2 attachments for 600 isn’t worth it but getting the airstrait for 500 when you can’t even get a wave with it and in most hair types doesn’t even straits it correctly is 🤷🏻♀️
Right?!

There’s lots of drying flat irons on the market, is this supposed to be less damaging?
Yes, this is supposed to have no heat damage per dysons claims.
