This is a cover. The band playing, A Studio, are the original band, but their singer died since their version (which was more poppy) was a hit. Dimash gave it his special treatment, as he does with everything he sings.

Dimash has a fanbase in about 140 countries. From the age of 5-99 years.
These middle easter sound (melisma) he does in one or another song. It’s really awesome.
The thing with the flowers has something to do with respect for the artist. It's a cultural thing. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. Russian audiences are more reserved, but that doesn't mean they don't love Dimash. They just don't show it that way. Like I said, it's a cultural thing.
23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. It’s unbelievable. He sang this song on the New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2018. This is an international contest for young performers founded by Igor Krutoy in 2002. Dimash sang here as a guest.
This song was in Russian, a language he speaks fluently.
The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.

Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible.
In this case he thanked the band A-Studio. It’s a Kazakh band who wrote this song. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion, much better 😄.

Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯

You don't ever have to look outside of Dimash's channel for subtitles. Every video on his own channel has subtitles in many different languages. You just have to click on closed captions and choose whatever language you need.

I feel very blessed to be attending the concert in Budapest on 4th May and very envious of those attending his 30th birthday concert in Istanbul on 24th May.

Dimash came off the stage at the end of his Dubai concert. He picked up a small boy and hoisted him on his shoulders and went back and forth. I even got to touch him, At his
one concert, he got the crowd singing along with him and heard a great voice in the audience and got the girl on stage to sing a bit on her own. He is wonderful with the audience. In turkey, a woman had her baby with her and handed him to Dimash on stage, who then cradled and kissed him and started singing the next song, babe in arms. Everything is so spontaneous. Love dimash. I’m going to Budapest for his next concert.

Dimash came to New York in Dec, of 2019 .......
He stepped off stage & into the audience of the arena to shake
our hands & to mingle with us
while singing his song screaming, his fans weren't escorted out of the arena,
Dimash had a few body guards who followed him into the audience ....
I never saw anyone try to pull or tug at him & I saw no indication of him loosing his footing while he interacted with the audience.
Dimashs concert was incredible & the best concert
I've witnessed & experienced in my entire life, you just can't imagine what it's like to see & witness someone like Dimash who
has an Ethereal presence that's so powerful it commanded the
attention of the
thousands of people who were surrounding hm without saying one word ......
This is beyond comprehension
it just is .......

Aerosmith ...
Rolling Stones ...
to name a few great concerts
and as great as they were and are there's no
comparision to Dimash that's a fact, anyone who has been to see Dimash will say the same thing, country culture, religion doesn't matter
because it's

Unfortunately, it's not always the case in his concerts these days that he gets so close to us. And I say on purpose He's getting too close to us. Because he tries to bypass security at every concert and jump off the stage whenever possible to get to the fans. Because he always wants as near as possible with his Dears. That's why he's also called the Security Killer😂. This is hard work for security.
By the way there are a lot of fanclubs all around the world. We comunicate with fans in different countries in different languages. Google is a big support😂. And I know of some Dears who learn English, Russian or Kazakh because of him.

The band Dimash is performing with its called A-Studio as others have said... and specifically the pianist wrote this and Dimash was a huge fan of the band and the lead singer passed away... the Vocalize is basically a prayer from what I understand

This was a concert put on by Igor krutyor a famous Russian composer who after witnessing dimash sing this song came out if retirement to compose other songs for Dimash. This concert they were invited singers to sing 1 song of A Studio whose lead singer passed away. Hence dimash doing the ode in the middle of the song to honour the lead singer. All the band is A studio and this song they couldn't get to number 1 b4 dimash took it to another level. Look at how amazed the guitarist is. He's in shock.

I suggest you watch “story of one sky”, even though the MV is a must!, I see you are interested in his performance, stage presence, the crowd and his overall artistry, in addition to his singing, per se! , you will need to watch THE LIVE PREMIERE OF THE SONG in Almaty concert!😊 or even hid latest live “omir” with his brother! Or “stranger” or even why not his opera duet with maestro Placido Domingo!
This performance was still at a singing competition a few years back. You're still going to get a relatively reserved audience. You will see what you're anticipating as far as demographics and audience behavior and participation when you begin watching his live concerts.

This venue was in Sochi, Russia 2018, during the contest New Wave sponsored by Igor Krutoy, the man who stands up at the end of the performance. Igor is a famous songwriter and invited Dimash to this show. Since then, he has written amazing song for Dimash, the best of them all for me. Examples are Olimpico,Ave Maria, Stranger, Your Love, I miss you, O'key, Passione. Dimash also sings old songs by Igor, like Love is Like a Dream, Know, Madmoiselle Hide, and many others. We hope to have more of Igor's in the future.

I think the monitors often show the lyrics, in case the vocalist forgets where he is. At Dimash's concert in NYC, before the pandemic, he announced mid-song, "I forget the lyrics, but it's okay." He manages to turn mistakes into charming moments of interaction with the crowd.

The way the chap said Dimash's name is influenced by the russian language. The last bit is not added by Kazakh people as far as i know. This is the only person that i have heard saying that way.

Russians when its male they add “ov “ at end, as in kudaibergenov, with female they would add”a “at end of “ov” as in Kudaibergenova. His last name is actually Qudaibergen but Russians does not have Q in their alphabet. I know, my husband’s grandmother is from Russia. And as usual Great Reaction.

Also My second favorite singer Dan Vasc. He is also classically trained like Dimash and Lara but actually a metal singer. His Gethsemane from Jesus Christ superstar is a phenomenal performance.
