SaaS is only expensive if you are not technical. The SaaSes I've built cost very little to run and maintain. Once you have to hire, it can get expensive, but that is true with any business.
ok so wasn't 0 to 1mil from nothing, it's years in making with all the contacts they built, already having access to the target customers makes it quite easy, so the title shouldn't be that surprising

Strangest definition of co-founder I've ever come across, someone joining the company a few years in as CTO! (The clue is in the name - FOUNDER, like someone who was there at the very beginning!)
Not necessarily because here are some real powerful SaaS products that can be white labelled. This has some significant downsides (e.g. in terms of selling the business, you don't own the underlying tech so it will be harder to find a buyer and it will sell for a lot less) but there is also massive upside in terms of affordability and getting started in SaaS for a non-technical founder. But if you main aim is to create a shit ton of revenue and profit with SaaS and you are not a techy type, then it's a good route to go down.
he says within 87 days, but when he introduced himself he has been an entrepreneur for 7 years. don't give up. for every overnight success, sometimes 10 years of no results
Where is he and other founders finding developers for a SaaS if you do t have the technical skills? Upwork and Fiverr is hard to know what your getting and the offers vary so much
I only watched the first 7 minutes, then stopped. There are a lot of inconsistencies here. 1/ If they (were) fulfilling manually, how do they generate 1k-10k actual leads for a client of them, especially in a day? 2/ If they use their previous contacts, well first of all I doubt it is agreed by those in the list to sell their data left and right.. , but even so, then it's not 80something days, but years in the making. 3/ The rest I won't write now.

yes but the business is purposefully not very profitable, the value is in the valuation, and i think they'll make a bag when they sell it in a few years
Yeah that’s true. Assuming 10x EBITDA on 3M ARR(750k profit). It’s 7.5M/5 =1.5M for a co-founder. You can do that with a 200k ARR 75% profit margin as well(10x EBITDA) with one person.

5:30 I think you took the completely wrong lesson out of this by saying he started it with 0 dollars... He's saying very correctly that a SaaS costs a lot of money (especially marketing and being able to survive until your MRR is high enough). To be able to start that without any initial funds, you can start an agency and provide services. This allows you to learn the business and then come up with ways to do it more efficiently.
