Thanks for sharing, when I purchased some land in Nigeria. My friend took me to a lawyer and suggested that I hire a government official surveyor. The surveyor advised that we place some material on the land, to keep people from trying to claim my land. Building a concrete fence on my property was the first thing I have done.
Greetings BAG Family, I won’t be sending money to everyone in Africa to do business that I should be doing myself prior to relocating or visiting Africa. Great informative information. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you both for being so detailed, for always keeping it real, and for your honesty in how the process of having your house built could go wrong if you are not on top of things! I had no clue that there were so many steps or thought about the small things to watch out for, or really how much a women could say or do when it comes to input about her house being built over there. In fact, I only heard horror stories abt ppl being duped into buying land already sold 20x's over, getting cheap supplies instead of the one they wanted, having cheap or bad foundations built, to the men not listening to women, and basically just building their houses the way they wanted to. And thank you for the advice about not sending money to ANYONE. A brother from the Diaspora wants the full amount of the house in 10 days in order to get it at half price, and a house in 3 yrs. After watching your video, I am now super leerie of sending my money to him, Diaspora dealing or not! In fact, I will be coming down to check things out myself and do a lot of research like you mentioned. Thanks again for all your videos, and for being 2 beautiful souls! I hope to meet you both one day soon. Continual blessings...!
Thanks guys very useful I was about to send money but you validated my concerns I will start booking flight to come, boarder rainy season so can purchase property with good knowledge of land suitability and spend some time to explore and make informed decision based. Thanks again❤
Dear Mr. Sweet Daddy I would like to start off saying congratulations your getting things done around Gambia home sweet home one of my biggest dreams since 1965 at the age of 4 years old I'll be there one day once I get all these paperwork signed and done cause that here my money at so I may live there I being study on the land there and I found a good realtor whom can build 7 homes for me which is call a compound complex cause I'm a single man and one wife is not going to do for me , now I saw your video preparing for the rainy season my plans is to bring my own equipment lawn mowers, bulldozers, trackers and my own asphalt and trucks, hoping the neighborhood doesn't mean a little brother to brother sharing cause we all have to drive to the store and it will also help keep down snakes and. The place a gate up is a great idea cause having all those women around I hate to find Jody creeping around my home cause I'm not trying to find myself and a Africa incarceration from putting my foot up someone ----? Anyway thanks for the ups
Great suggestions, currently still in the U.S. and have experienced issues with contractors in North America. Always important to monitor, monitor, monitor, and be on worksite.
Heyy Bag family it’s been a while. I don’t know if you remember me “Raven” I lived in Senegal 10months almost a year now, me and my children left March 21, we are back in the States. I understand the sealing of those windows bc my apartment room would get water running down the walls and I WOULD HAVE TO CLEAN all that water out. I will come back soon just need some time😁💛
Thank you brother Rick and your beautiful wife for this very much needed information. I appreciate you guys so much for being so professional and detailed with the information you are helping your brothers and sisters with. I'm at the first phase of my project and I look forward to meeting you guys soon as your neighbor in Pirang! God bless always! Brother Manatazach
Thanks so much for being transparent. A lot of it is funny. You had the patience of Job. THANK God you guys were there to oversee each step of the way‼️😅😅 Laugh to keep from crying. 😅
Hello BAG family, Kenyan watching from Canada, I love your progress and your inspiration. Hope one day to visit you guys. Great insight about building a home, I think it's all the same wherever you are in Africa. But no matter what happens we can overcome challenges. Hoping to be back home soon for good. See my gardening videos in Canada and good recipes from Kenya on my RUclips Channel. God bless you all
HELLO CYNTHIA AND RICK, I SO ENJOY THAT YOU SHARE WITH EVERYONE ABOUT LAND PURCHASING AND HOME BUILDING EXPECTATIONS AND WAYS TO PREVENT DISAPPOINTMENTS. I HAVE ONE QUESTION TO ASK OF YOU IF IT'S OK. COMING FROM THE ILLUSIONS WHERE THE ELECTRICAL PANELS ARE MAINLY 110, CAN I BRING A BOX FROM THE STATES AND THEN ADD A 220 WATT PANEL BOX FOR ELECTRICAL ITEMS PURCHASED IN BOTH PLACES, TO AVOID DESTROYING ANY APPLIANCES I BRING FROM THE STATES?
Total shame to go thru having blueprints for your house and the contractor DOES NOT build according to print. Unbelievable. No licensing or regulations in Africa for residential construction?!?😢 Glad you both have Hearts to Forewarn and Help Others. ✨️
Most African countries are a free market for those who knows what they are doing....less government regulations has huge advantages. America is trying hard to be like Africa...no taxes for your homes, no tax on tax for goods and services and you can do what ever you want on your property without having the government coming after you for some BS regulations.
My husband lives in the gambia and one day I will probably move there but my question is, what do you do for dental appointments? My teeth and health are important to me.
Black folks doing it. You are an inspiration to us all.
BLACK IS A COLOUR NOT PERSON/PEOPLE
STOP BEING A NON-EXISTENT PERSON/PEOPLE
BAG dropping jewels. I'm taking lessons. ❤🖤💚🇬🇲✊🏾
Funny thing is that many people will listen to your information and then go do the opposite. Good information.
CYNTHIA, YOUR HAIR HAS GOTTEN SO LONG. IT LOOKS VERY HEALTHY AND BEAUTIFUL.. LOVE YOU GUYS AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU BOTH ARE SHARING WITH US 💚❤️🖤
♥️♥️♥️
