Of all the developers I have listened to, this guy has the smartest and most realistic concept so far. This will work very well in a developing country like Ghana, which faces challenges with waste disposal and pollution in some areas. His eco-friendly and biodegradable concepts check all the boxes for me. Developers don’t need all those million-dollar homes that less than 1% of the population can afford. He will do very well. This is a community I wouldn’t mind living in.
Kudos to you and your building project. I ve done the this on a smaller scale. I built a home off grid. Dug a borehole, using Solar Energy to light the house. I do small farming like pumpkin, peppers, maze. Only moved here in November 2nd not a week yet. Took a little longer to build cause of the rainy season. I want the metal fencing because it's more natural looking then the block fencing. I ll grow heges to add to private looking living space. I collect rain water by a slanted roof and pipes that connects to a Polytank. Used for washing ND watering my farm.
Thank you, this video is shot by Cobbie who I’ve worked with for years but we took onboard comments from previous videos whilst shooting 🎉. Glad you like the price point! X
Intelligent my a… you find someone to purchase from but no true land ownership! Makes no sense! The concept of building off grid is great but wrong country! It's amazing how one can come to the conclusion, tha a person is intelligent. I can say just what he says, but it does not mean I am intelligent. Don't forget all the men in Africa who have scammed people . Just saying.
Love the video Vanessa. And it was definitely a pleasure to have you visit with us in the bush. Thank you for coming. You are always welcomed anytime you want to take a break from Scotland. 🤗
This is an amazing, stupendous undertaking. I love the concept of the pod, off-the-grid neighborhood. It is wonderful to know who is living next to you. I would like to have my own little garden on my own property to grow mustard greens and spinach. I will want to eat fish every day. I will eat rabbit as long as I do not have to see it alive prior to the prep of the meat.I will want to have a public space/building for teaching both academic and home economics classes. I will want to have solar panels installed on my house. There’s far too many negative comments on here from people who probably have never done anything impactful in their lives. Thank you for taking a vision with its obstacles and pressing forward overcoming the barriers even with what the government has done with the water rerouting system. Build a fishing pier.
Man, if I were younger I would want a home like this. If only Jamaica had something or someone like this. Thanks for sharing Vanessa. And Congratulations to Eric on this chosen path.
Yeah non black people wish you did ! 😂 but we all know you're billionaires and millionaires will sell you down the drain everytime. Why hasn't a single NBA player or rapper helped in africa?? Why 😂
From Cameroon. This idea of Eric is adorable. The biggest difference here is living with the nature which nobody in big cities cares about. Many developers have houses with no single tree around.
Been saying this for years; Africa is the best place to invest. Everywhere else if "full" so to speak. The only reason to hold back is how dysfunctional the government can be. In countries like Cameroon, you have the chinese who have been making plans over there for well over a decade now. I pray many more African-Americans take a chance with us before it's too late.
Finally someone with practical common sense and vision. How the entirety of Africa is not running off solar is beyond me & with the sustainable element its a no brainer. Wish the didn't use talapia as a farmed fish & you do the research on that fish you will understand why
Thank you. Yes, I'm very familiar with tilapia and catfish and the reasons why many prefer not to eat them. But if you know anything about Ghana, you know that tilapia is pretty much a staple of their diet. So, anyone trying to go against that trend should be prepared to lose money.
@@EricIsFreeBut we Voltarians never farmed tilapia… it’s always been our cultural fish. The Keta Lagoon breeds them naturally and so does the Volta. Farm raised tilapia comes in boxes from China. The solar inverter and battery is costly for the average person so that’s why everyone doesn’t have solar, but if the government subsidizes a part, that would be great.
Great content Vanessa! Migrating Culture Crossing is a true gem 💎 in Ghana! 🇬🇭 Peace and blessings to Eric and all he sets out to do. ❤️🖤💚 And Happy Juneteenth Eric from America! 🇺🇸 You are representing African Americans well in Ghana.
Thanks Vanessa for this upload. This is very inspiring and a real commitment to be sustainable and a world where this may be frowned upon. Good work very impressive work being undertaken here.

Great interview and tour. Vanessa cracked through to the roots of Eric, so we have a much better understanding of his personal history, and the 'method to the madness' of his serial entrepreneurial journeys. Very interesting. Best wishes.

Informative. I will put Ghana on my short list of countries to visit in Africa.
Try and you won't regret it , vast opportunities here with arable lands for agriculture, real estate, school, pub, mining, etc
Just back from Ghana no I am researching moving there, feels so natural you can have city or country living all amenities of any developed country.
