It is good that you are having positive experiences. May you continue to do so. My only criticism would be that it is not correct (and is actually harmful) to state that you get what you put out. I, for one, have experienced racism without putting out negative energy or having any negative expectations of the people that I was around at the time. That way of thinking seeks to hold the "victim" responsible for the actions of others ("well, if you were a more positive thinker, it wouldn't have happened...")
I think that she is saying don't sweat it, don't let it racism bother you. If racism exists, and it does, don't allow it to steer you off course. If you concentrate on your goals, then when racists or negative people in general come around, you will clearly be able to recognize them because you didn't have preconceived notions to begin with. For example, it would be foolish on my part to go into a basketball game and assume that the referees are going to make calls against me because I'm a good player. That negative type of attitude would ruin my entire game. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Their true colors will either remain the same or show up eventually. And Allah knows best.
Great teamwork... making your dreams come to reality. I totally love your sense of adventure. My international travel already includes 9 African countries. Egypt is at the top of my list to experience next. God bless you both!

@@bcl5667 Exactly what I said. It's a bubble. It's an enclave of affluence that's far removed from the reality of the majority population. For one thing these enclaves are very westernized. They are removed from a lot of aspects of traditional culture. For example , if a man wears traditional attire he'll be restricted acess to any upscale establishment even if he's wealthy and can afford it. I've seen women cussed out for trying to enter a restauraunt simply because they were wearing headscarfs.

Lebanon is a beautiful country and the Lebanese people are some of the nicest folks around, but it is certainly not a country I would recommend anyone move to, certainly not for the last 10+ years. The political situation there is very dicey, it's difficult to do things there if you are an American because a lot of sanctions and restrictions are put on services there if it has anything to do with American companies, there's regular blackouts as you mentioned and the value of the Lebanese currency has dropped by over 90-95% in the past few years. Lebanese citizens aren't even able to get access to their own money that they had deposited into their own bank accounts, because the government imposed restrictions on how much cash you are allowed to take out every month.
I am so happy for you and proud of you both. Thank you for your positive commentary and video. What a beautiful apartment, for $85 i'd take it flaws and all. I'd just like to know more about healthcare cost.
They told me the same thing. They’ll run out of social security money by the time you’re ready to retire. That had my generation in a panic. I’m a boomer, by the way. As long as they want seniors to vote, they’ll find the money. They’ll raise the age of retirement, but that’s it. This doesn’t mean a person shouldn’t save for their future-you may get less money at retirement, but the US will have to collapse before they get rid of the entire program. If that happens, the whole world is in trouble. The headlines are just to get you to read it. Click bait, you call it now. I’ve seen those headlines well over 40 years. I’m retired now but getting less than they used to get.
The US *is* going to collapse, you're a fool if you don't see this. They would have to raise the age of retirement to be higher than the average life expectancy and even that would be a temporary measure at best...the amount of money owed on interest payments to service our existing national debt is soon going to overtake our entire national GDP...it's only going to get worse as the debt crisis spirals out of control. So no, this isn't anything like your generation whatsoever. You're a boomer, you are lucky you got to grow up in a MUCH easier time and experience America at it's peak. We're experiencing it in it's collapse.

If you're moving somewhere, it's best to know the prices and standards of living. If you want to flaunt your dollars you are very free to do so , just not at the expense of the locals

If you don’t find a means of multiplying your money, you will wake up one day to realize that the money you thought you had, had exhausted. Investment is a ladder to climb the financial wall.
…And then one day
Someone walks into your life,
A total stranger,
And they become so important to you.

You’re only a victim if you “choose” to be.

Great teamwork... making your dreams come to reality. I totally love your sense of adventure. My international travel already includes 9 African countries. Egypt is at the top of my list to experience next. God bless you both!
I have spoken to Arab Egyptians and they told me themselves that Egypt is racist. They told me to visit Morocco instead. I am happy you are safe, but I will not risk going there.
To a degree everywhere is racist it's called a curse, but there's millions of Sudanese refugees living and working in Egypt, not to mention the others coming from all over Africa to work in Egypt
Racism is hatred. Hatred is everywhere because people are everywhere! Live your life.

El Gouna is an outlier. It's a bunble. You can't use it as an indicator of what life is like in Egypt. Central Cairo or Alexandria whole other ball game.
Can you elaborate.... what's different? Medical care or safety etc. Thnx ☺️

I'd love to visit to learn Arabic. So many people of the darkened African continent speak it, and there's great value in the religious aspects of the language, culture, and beauty. I love the script. I took a course once and found how, because I speak, "ebonics," and have been exposed to how to learn languages;... I found how fast I was progressing without awareness.
I was so proud of myself, and whenever I used what Arabic I knew, oh, boy, people were impressed. It was like dividing the Red Sea. I was walking on water.

@@luckycat-tarot that makes me sad
You siblings are awesome

Biden said he don't need your vote and I believe him.
That's a nice apartment. I lived in Jordan, Uganda and Kenya. The prices are so small for what you get. You just have to adjust to the lifestyle of what you are used to. Once you retrain your mind that you don't need all the extras, then you can enjoy the moment. Great Video and I just subscribed.

I DONT CARE ABOUT THE $85-RENT! That MEANS NOTHING IF YOU GET SICK! TALK ABOUT MEDICAL CARE! Where’s the hospitals ! How does their medical system work? Where is a good DENTIST, etc
Health care is good, i am a 69+ year old man, when i go to doctor, he see me, he does not wonder round from patient to patient, he see you, when he finish with me, he give me my prescription if i need one, they have the same health care treatment if not better,
It is more than good enough. Panic less, the west isn't the only place with good health care.
