What makes jim gordon great in his first scene is that everyone else in the police station is thinking about the death of Thomas and Martha Wayne, but gordon is the only one thinking about bruce.
yep...he showed bruce theres light at the end of the tunnel...theres good people out there....he can model himself to live up to gordon's standards..simple storytelling...the normal hero of our hero ...the guiding force

Actually I like Begins as much as Knight. The second one was great because of Joker, but the first one had the best comic book/iconic Batman moments.

I feel like the real unpopular opinion would be to think that Rises is the best. Because honestly, despite having some really good stuff in there, it is also kind of a poorly paced, plot-hole ridden mess.

Nah Dark Knight is definitively the best..
Henri Ducard (Ra's al Ghul's alias in the movie) was an actual character in the comic books. He was one of the people who trained Bruce Wayne during the years before he became Batman. (See Detective Comics #599-600, written by Sam Hamm -- the screenwriter of the 1989 Batman film)
Fun Fact: during the training on the ice scene, the crew could hear the ice cracking beneath their feet while they were filming, but continued filming there anyway. The next day, that very spot was all melted.

Thomas Wayne has always been a doctor!He became a businessman due to donations he received from the philanthropic work he did as a Gotham medical doctor for which he was so well-loved!

Everyone's allowed to have their opinions but Batman Begins is 100x better than The Dark Knight Rises.
No way. I think Begins is better but not by much. TDR is phenomenal as well & honestly I feel like it’s more enjoyable even though BB is a “better” film.

growing up I do realize there were theaters that had side or back exits come to think about it and he's long dark depressingly empty hallways where someone could easily have been mugged

My brother and I were 16 when this came. We had never heard of Ra's al Ghul until this movie. Even now, I don't recall the character in the animated series.
By the way...Batman has ALWAYS been my #1 favorite superhero since the '89 film.

😬, honestly I've seen plenty of people say they prefer begins over tdk, but I haven't heard to many people say they prefer rises over tdk, respect ure opinion but tdk is a much much better film imo ( and this is coming from someone who doesn't think tdk is like the best comic book movie of all time, I prefer movies like Logan, man of steel, and days of future past )
@@patricktorres1292 I like all 3 of the movies but every time I've watched TDK right when the boat scene happens I'm like wait what just happened we just saw him in a cop car and now he's about to blow up two boats with no hints that he was gonna do that at any other point in the movie. Its just a giant jump that I'm not a big fan of
I prefer Begins, then TDK, then TDKR.
I think TDR is the most enjoyable as a movie. Heath Ledger is the best performance. Batman Begins is special in that it really set the tone for the films and revitalized an absolute dead franchise.

The Nolan trilogy is not that great IMHO. They did very interesting things, especially in The Dark Knight, but overall it just rang hollow to me.
Bale and Caine never convinced me they were not acting out a script, both Rachel Dawes the same, Dent started good but then became the same. And I don't think it was the actors' faults.
BvS Utimate Cut is actually climbing in my esteem now that I'm rewatching the Nolan films. Batman a xenophobic paranoid held back by Alfred? Yeah, seems right for the character in a more realistic take on a DC universe, especially when drawing from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.
The most boring and only batman trilogy begins.
As a Batman fan I’m not a fan of the Nolan trilogy. Ironically it has some of the stupidest moments in Batman because it’s trying to be more realistic. Superheroes just can’t be taken realistically. First of all his no killing at all rule is especially dumb in this series because realistically you just can’t fight crime without having to kill someone eventually. I refuse to kill this man so I’m gonna burn this place to the ground with everyone in it. And then when he tells ra’s I don’t have to save you, he’s the one that told Gordon and gave him the means to kill ra’s so that pretty much is him killing him. The fighting looks bad, some of the punches in the Bane fight were faker than 66 Batman and there was no venom so no explanation for why Bane was strong enough to punch through concrete. Batman can just bend guns with his bare hands and crumple cars by landing on them and he’s fine. Wtf is with that bike where the wheels spin horizontally like how does that happen and what does that accomplish. And the dumbest thing has to be how did he survive the nuke? That would’ve been so impactful if he sacrificed himself. Previous iterations of Batman may have had campy stuff but they were meant to be that way.
I agree with practically everything you said except the bending that gun barrel was him using a device made by Lucius Fox.
