@@FPT84 they got in a huge fight like maybe a few days ago, almost divorced, but now they’re just as happy as ever. They suit eachother well, just my mom is a bit too emotional. It’s all good at the moment.

I’m a ISTJ-T and I’m dating an ENFP. Apparently those are polar opposites but we get along well. I just sometimes don’t understand how he has so much energy and how he’s always so warm and optimistic.
ISTJs are not known for their tempers. Perhaps that's why in all the 3/4 of a decade the ISTJ I know lived with an ENFP, only one dish was broken. Hey! Only one dish? That's pretty good, ISTJ! 👏
I'm in a friendship trio with an istj and enfp....this is literally summing up their whole relationship. They get along just fine. But she (istj) is really exhausted afterwards. My enfp friend is just a firework of emotions. She makes us both laugh and although our social batteries run out fast, we still love our enfp

@@Its_serenityyyyy They (in my experience) have an abundance of energy, are chaotic, a bit flighty, have emotions that are a bit strong for me, aren’t serious enough sometimes imo, and they won’t leave me alone. I think that not all ENFPs are like this fully, but my experience with them has been far from enjoyable.
@@INTPanther yeah, I’ll admit as an enfp, I can be a bit immature, but I can’t really help it, it’s just part of who I am. Sorry if we are too chaotic, (and I think I can speak for all extroverts when I say this) we just get overly excited. And when we won’t leave you alone, it’s because we want to talk to you, extroverts REALLY like talking and find every opportunity to make new friends because they just like people. I know it’s hard to understand, but in my experience, it’s almost like I can’t stop myself from talking, I know that’s weird, but it’s exactly what it feels like.

@@j.s.3284 As an ENFP I will volunteer myself to apologise to you eventhough that does not related to me. I kind of sorry that you had to go through something like that, I myself am not a perfect being and sometimes gone full savage by abusing my INFJ sister when we was a child and also blame and set up a prank to my innocent friend and teacher because of my bad messy misunderstanding. (one of them is coincidentally also an ENTJ) The thing is ENFP brain never work fully functional, when we are good, it's on autopilot and when we are in control, it's just out of basic ideas. Asking or the showingness of apology also quite unclear in ENFP mind because we are always on cloud. So, I am very sorry that every person on Earth including you had to gone through with personality like us in this case a bad ENFP. But abusing is just straight out of line though. I wish you best of luck and try to not put him in stress in any situation to tighten up your relationship with him. Try to make everything on point.

I have plenty of estj and istj work buddies, and both of us learn so much from each other.. as an intuitive it's fascinating and admirable that they copy us and try to learn from us, while ofc we get to learn tons of work stuff from them no doubt in that ~enfp

ISTJs and ENFPs actually have a lot in common. I'm an ISTJ, and I get along great with ENFPs. I am friends with several, and I'm married to one. 🙂
ESTPs annoy me to death. Also, the opposite of an ISTJ is actually an ENFJ, if you look at the cognitive functions.

Regardless, I like ENFPs as well. It makes sense since the functions are shared, but it makes me wonder why so many people say that the two types don't get along well.
@@xlGoldenlx. ENFJs are more different because of the introversion/extraversion and because the dominant function of each is the blind spot of the other.
I think the people who assume ISTJs and ENFPs are opposite do so because of the false dichomoties (E vs I, S vs N, etc.) and not understanding the cognitive functions. That being said, there are stark differences. It's strange that my husband and I are so similar and dissimilar at the same time. 😄

I’m an ENFP and my boyfriend is an ISTJ. We are always on cloud 9 or in the 9th circle. At least sort of, not actually it’s just we’re both intense people. He gets ice cold at times while run red hot. When it’s bad it’s bad but when it’s great it’s amazing. And we continuously get better and the bad constantly gets less bad. Also I exhaust him with my insane mental jump ability while he exhausts me with his practical advice and every now and then when he squashes my feelings.
