please at least be a little more direct. I'm gong to steal from another comment I saw on here: You should ask them directly if they would date you if hypothetically you were to ask them out on a date. Schrodinger's hypothetical
Poor Miss INFJ!! She was so close…and yet so far, lol!! 😂 Like so many others, I’m also so invested in the INFJ-ISTJ storyline! :) Encore!! Such great freewheeling interactions at the library amongst the types, loved this episode!! 😊🙏🙏
Unfortunately the INFJ hasn't learned that for successful communication you have to make it in a way the other party understands, something like "Would you like to go on a date with me?" especially if the plan for the failed communication is never seeing this person again, the sting of rejection has to be less than the agony of self recrimination for failing to be brave.
@@KarlJeager Of course being straight forward is the most effective way. However, the INFJ made it SO obvious. Therefore , the ISTJ must develop more awareness of social cues. So both of them were responsible for the lack of communication in my opinion.
(2:35-2:40) As an ISTJ, I have to say that is painfully accurate. Dating involves talking about emotions and allowing yourself to feel emotions. Neither of which is my strong suit. Being open about what you're feeling with another person and having to deal with your heart and those pesky emotions that are erratic and not logical at all? Not gonna happen. Edit, I will fully admit that as an ISTJ, I am in fact, totally clueless when someone is flirting with me or trying to show they're interested in me.
And as an INFJ, I would never put myself out there like that. I would totally hint, and ask questions I already new the answer to in order to spend more time with someone I was interested in, but at the same not show I was interested just in case they weren't interested. I too would never go back to that library. Sound like that sketch was spot on with both of us.

Good to know that I’m neatly fitting into the INTJ type by saying something nobody would care to think about and leaving without anyone caring or lacking the knowledge that I was there
That was fantastic. Intricate storytelling that weaves together many disconnected plotlines. All driven by characters with agency, navigating the library driven by their own personal motivations. Masterful.
I worked at a library. I was tech services… I did digitization for a bunch of Roman law books… did FRIDA services… The library is still there but thanks to my team and I… physical books are all self check out, everything is E-books… the stacks have diminished, and now there’s a coffee shop and hangout area for the students. If you want actual books they’d have to request them online and they get delivered. So stacks management is done by the delivery team, no more crazy librarians, you’d automatically get your credit card charged or your tuition bill goes up for late returns, and the university saves money. I’m very proud of my accomplishments. We are in a new era. I no longer work for that library. But everyone who still has a job there remembers me.
I'm an INFJ who has worked at a library. This is creepily accurate. Especially the kid biting the toe and a man not wearing pants just being another day at work. lol
Honestly, yes😂 INFP, former library aide here - one of the most common things I noticed at my library is that so many people take their shoes off. *Grown adults*. Sometimes, the kids have better library etiquette than their parents!

We read different books while cuddling in a corner. He was telling me how unrealistic something was or character analysis while I was pretending I was the main character in my book Sadly my boyfriend now (an ENTJ who must've saw something great in me cause after breaking up with me he started spamming me to get me back soo weird) he is for chill dates but says he doesn't want to read books. This might just be my favourite video of yours yet! I'm so invested in all the plots and characters. The INTPs relatability, the love story, the character that you think might just plan to commit a murder (until the end), the archival quality paper bookmarks :'), etc etc etc. So good!
Yep. That’s me the INFJ. Asking questions and trying to gauge interest before making any kind of move that could maybe invite a move….
...and they wonder why we never make a move 🤦🏻
please at least be a little more direct. I'm gong to steal from another comment I saw on here:
You should ask them directly if they would date you if hypothetically you were to ask them out on a date. Schrodinger's hypothetical
@@ivangrozny496 Oooh, mind if I try this method?
@princesserika9899 please do, let me know how it goes
Poor Miss INFJ!! She was so close…and yet so far, lol!! 😂 Like so many others, I’m also so invested in the INFJ-ISTJ storyline! :) Encore!!
I totally also relate to the ISFJ loving the old-school feel of books…and also in an essentially kindhearted way letting an accidentally judgmental statement slip out, lol! 🥹🥹 (I test INFP, but i relate also to a lot of the ISFJ life, lol!!) Such great freewheeling interactions at the library amongst the types, loved this episode!! 😊🙏🙏
I wanted INFJ to get that date SO bad.
IKR me too
Same! I wish she got the date.
@@KarlJeager
Of course being straight forward is the most effective way. However, the INFJ made it SO obvious. Therefore , the ISTJ must develop more awareness of social cues.
So both of them were responsible for the lack of communication in my opinion.
@@KarlJeager just be direct and ask them out
As an ENFP i can guarantee i would never enter the library for any purposes that the library is actually made for. Great skit FJ loved it so much xD
Lol i rarely see sensors on mbti videos
@@julieharden2433 what's with the hints and stuff? If you like someone just tell that person already. What's the worst that can happen?
Edit - I'm INTJ
Real if you want to date me just say it so I can assess you and decline or start evaluating you right away
Yep I'm like that too. Also an ISTJ
My favorite video so far, from an introverted retired librarian (public, college, and corporate). I've met all those characters, worked with all those librarians. Have you every worked in a library, or been a librarian? Great "liberry" video.
I love your videos! As an INFP, just walking around and seeing what others are doing, and commenting on it in my head was pretty relatable 😂
YESSS!!! 😂
INFPs are just naturally life's narrators
Absolutely!!!
This was so fun to watch! Especially the INFJ and ISTJ part lol
You keep making your content better Frank keep it up
This longer format was really great. At some point I felt like I was watching a pilot episode of a quirky tv series. And the dialogues as always witty and fun. Great work FJ 👏
thanks!!
THAT!!! That is exactly what it feels like!!!!
I agree 100% with this comment.
Who else wants to read “The Sound of Quiet” by P.J. Hackenstack now? That is iconic!😱
I'm an INTJ, and I personally adore libraries & bookstores. So much knowledge & brain-entertainment 🤩
Nowadays, I prefer exploring digital texts due to the increased range of accessibility; when I was younger (too young to drive) my parents would regularly drop me off at a public library, or a bookstore, for HOURS while they ran errands. 📚
Matilda is an INTJ, and loves the library too
I'm also an INTJ, and I personally adore libraries & bookstores. So much knowledge & brain-entertainment
Nowadays, I prefer exploring digital texts due to the increased range of accessibility; when I was younger (too young to drive) my parents would regularly drop me off at a public library, or a bookstore, for HOURS while they ran errands. Is it plagiarism if every single word you wrote applies to me?
@@wingman4356 Lol, for a shorter version to convey the meaning of your reply, you could phrase it in the way the teens nowadays uses: "SAME"
Me too! Mom dropped me off at the library in town and went grocery shopping, to the pharmacy, to the hair salon, etc every week. By age 9 I could have been the librarian for the whole kids section!
ISTJ really suits being in library, something they expert to do and really organized, is like the were born there. 😄👏
I like the fact how fast infj spotted the infp. As one of the latter I can speak out loud and no one will notice. Only infjs do from my experience
oh my gosh, I'm an ENFP with a degree in music tech and I have a db & Hz meter on my phone!!! I love that thing!
the INFP's shirt "I do what I want" killed me.
As an INFJ/INTP who dreamed of being a librarian, this one was made for me.
As an INFJ I would 100% flirt like this and it’s upsetting to know. lol 😂
In a world where youtubers make similar videos on the same topics over and over again I really appreciate this channel. It's unique and something I never expect yet all videos end up being amazing.
I appreciate your hard work Frank!
Thank you very much!
As in INFJ I really felt the trying to get the guy to ask her out.
Omg, I'm an INFJ and dated an ISTJ. I swear half our conversations were exactly like the characters 😂
INFP who worked as a library aide for 3 years and you really do get all kinds of people in the library! (the good, the bad, and everyone in between) Could really relate to the ISTP librarian at 3:20 - if you work long enough, you really DO have a good sense of where everything is, even if you haven't completely memorized the whole catalogue😂
Girl, you had my dream job...!!! What an AWESOME opportunity 😎
Totes! 😄 Fellow INFP library assistant here too, love how everyday you come across different people and the regulars too ❤
@@theneriiren For sure! That was one of my favorite parts of the job - getting to know the community😊
@@madeleinemilligan8155 💯🥰
Lol Infp and actually need to finish my application for an aide.
Hello, this is your (trying-to-be) friendly neighbourhood INTJ telling you all to get a damn library card. Even if you don't use it, it can help them get desperately needed funding and regardless of what you may think, libraries perform an essential function in our society and we will miss them if they ever do disappear
I would like to help fund libraries, but how can I help get rid of public education?
ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE ✨ As an INFP with an ENFP sister, I can confirm 100% accuracy. (Also, the INFJ and ISTJ’s unrequited love hit a little too close to home.) Thank you so much for this video ❤️
thanks for your kind comment!!
_1....FJ is surprisingly fetching as a blonde. 2...I still miss the old card catalogues. Just saying._
I'm an INFJ and I love reading, I love libraries, I love booooks😍
INFP being the narrator is hilarious! INFJ trying to hint to her crush is relatable! I am ISFJ and that was too real!
You are on fire FJ! Sincerely, a long time INFP fan who just answered “I do what I want” to the poll before seeing this. 🎯
Idea : The 16 personalities as Geek/Anime fans
Yesss voting for it
Yes please 🙏🏼
As an ISTJ, I can confirm that we are extermely oblivious to any signs of emotions.
The INTP Dad and bitey toddler interactions are very much like my relationship with my late father was during my childhood. He was always trying to teach me something...and I was constantly creeping away to get up to mischief. As a small child, I used to think my full name ended in "COME HERE!". 😂
😂 Ha ha. I relate! My Dad is INTP, too, and he used to set us kids occasional test papers to assess what we'd learned from him! But we would scoot away for fun. What's your mischievous MBTI?
@@SelenaSeaInfj, according to another one of their comments. As an infj myself, this makes me happy 😂 no one talks about our mischievous side enough. I drove my parents nuts allllll the time.
This video is made for INFP happiness 😊
The ESTJ being a famous author really took me off guard, it was genius! FJ, have you ever considered writing your own mystery novel? Your creative skills are awesome, I'd definitely read it 😃
PETITION TO DO 16 PERSONALTIES IN THEATRE
I’m a theatre kid and a ENFJ and all the different personalities are hilarious in even my community theatre. ❤❤
He is a fellow theatre kid!!! I’ll sign the petition!
5:16 😮💨True, i couldn't count how many times I've had to ask people to put their clothes back on while working at a library
Masterful.
As an ISTJ, I loved this sketch lmao. Yes, I too would be completely oblivious and focused on the task, thanks.
I know I felt called out. Like how am I supposed to know you aren’t really just interested in finding books?
You are great 😂
I worked at a library. I was tech services… I did digitization for a bunch of Roman law books… did FRIDA services…
The library is still there but thanks to my team and I… physical books are all self check out, everything is E-books… the stacks have diminished, and now there’s a coffee shop and hangout area for the students.
Can confirm that I enjoy overanalysing the deeper metaphorical aspects of classic childhood books (although I’m far too shy to actually speak, lol)
- an INTP :)
Infj and istj are soooo well written 😂😂 , tbh the ISTJ was doing his job . i believe he wouldn't mind dating the infj if she was clear about dating him .
again great job fj
am istj, can confirm I would be extremely oblivious, but indeed wouldn't mind dating the infj if I somehow picked up on her signals
I’m an INFJ and i confirm I would totally do that 😂. My bf is an ISFP but I can see some ISTJ in him
@shubikl9826 tell the rest of your kind to stop being so cryptic
@ivangrozny496 we can't 😅
@kissmelicia81 not saying don't be cryptic, just make your crypticity comprehensible to us robots
For the record, if INTJ showed up, INTJ would be in the corner with a laptop and one or two select books (that they brought from home), watching the surroundings silently in supervillain mode, not going for the purpose of loudly slamming book-readers for going to libraries.
Wow, that was fun! I loved the ongoing saga of INFJ trying to ask out ISTP! What a clueless dude! The ENFP with no pants was a riot, too! Great skit, Frank! You know, that kid has terrible parents.🙌💜
glad you enjoyed!
ENFP:why noone likes me
ISTJ:thats a point
It is the ISTJ dude 😂
It's the ISTJ. You don't even pay attention
I'm an ENFP.😂
Okay ... hands down... now I shipp ISTJ and INFJ - that's so cute and so saaaaad. As INFJs it's so hard to ask someone out... But this could evolve to a wholesome lovestory. Next week my mum (ISFJ) and I will go to the library, maybe I should keep my eyes open. - hopelessly single INFJ that don't like dating apps. 😘
P.S. Great video the storytelling is awesome. Love it.
I 100% believe in the importance of libraries and fully support greater funding - from a distance.
Sincerely,
an INTJ.
As an INFJ with ISTJ boyfriend, thank you for reliving my past trauma! 😂
my friend and i are entj and intj and we have had that exact connversation.
"Rocko the Taco flew a plane to Morocco" 😂. I love your videos because they helped me so much to better understand my personality type, never skipped a single video since subscribing to your channel 2 years ago. A fellow Infj from Morocco 😊
yay! Thanks so much for your kind words!! Hooray Morocco!
@@FrankJames 🌹🌹❤
As an ENFP, I have left the house wearing shoes that I don’t wear outside my house, and not realized until I got to work…and immediately drove back home to change my shoes as soon as possible!
Rocko the Taco by Frank James is now a best seller not only for children but for EVERYONE (it’s that good).
As an INFP, observing others behavior at the library is my thing for sure
That & also I would go hoping some guy would come over & reach for a book that was above me to give it to me because I couldn't reach, but remember I'm 5'6" & can reach for basically everything anything I can't reach for there's always a stool nearby
Anyways one of my most peaceful dates was at the library with my ex (an INTP). We read different books while cuddling in a corner. He was telling me how unrealistic something was or character analysis while I was pretending I was the main character in my book
Sadly my boyfriend now (an ENTJ who must've saw something great in me cause after breaking up with me he started spamming me to get me back soo weird) he is for chill dates but says he doesn't want to read books. Ahh
That was perfect, FJ! I'm now waiting for you to write a movie!! The INFJ had a blessing there, ISTJ can't catch the thread, and it's really a very true estimation of how we truly communicate with people we're checking out to see if they could be a close friend.....then we can open up fully because they get our threads!!
Love that the INFP feels so comfortable there that they became the narrator :DD
If you wanna commit a crime I'll go along with it, wanna solve a crime? I'll go along with it I really don't care -ISTP
The fact that I'm Moroccan and immediately started screaming when I saw that taco flew a plain to Morocco is making me feel proud but idk why lol- a fellow INFJ
Thanks Frank, now I am shipping INFJ and ISTJ...
Frank: the people have spoken!!! Definitely follow-up episodes of INFJ & ISTJ - - I can see it now……….. Thanks for this, possibly the most ‘real’ episode of all!!
There’s a library in MA that’s accepting cat photos and cat drawings in lieu of overdue payments 😆👏 🐈
Feels like I js watched a kdrama which the main characters r INFJ and ISTJ👹💀
Spoiler!!! With sad ending😭❗🗣️
INFP breaking the 4th wall is probably my favourite bit hahaha
Memorable mention: The accidental burn of the ISTJ back to the INFJ saying "No, they're in the social skills section" at 2:26 is *chefs kiss*
The pairings in this one is spectacular.
My fav is the ESTJ & the ISTP 😂
The INFP as the narrator is so accurate as an INFP-T.
I'm an INFJ and that's exactly how i (try to) flirt 😂
Man, this one is PACKED with subplots! Thanks Frank, this might be the single video that made me physically laugh the most times (and that includes compilations!). Hats off!
My mother was a librarian. It was one of my most favourite places when I was a kid. I still loved it as an adult but it was especially magical when I was very young. Not many of them around any more -- INFP
Genuinely found myself rooting for INFJ, actually kinda sad they didn’t have a happy ending
C'est la vie 😢
Best istj skit ever! As an istj I am completely clueless when people are giving me hints of any kind and I can never tell if a person is flirting with me or just being a regular human being 😅
We NEED more of the INTP dad
Awww I love the cute interaction between INFJ and ISTJ
