These Rangers won this for themselves, but they also know that they won it for their fans (from DFW to Texas to Oklahoma to everywhere) and I think that the players know that part of the reason that they were able to reach such heights is because they were on the shoulders of all those players who came before them wearing the Rangers' uniform. All of them are proud of what this team has accomplished and thank you for such a memorable year.

      1. you have to be a wild card
      2. you can't have ANY home field advantage in any series
      3. every series has to go the distance. 2 (3 is the max here, but you'd have to lose a road game to get there), 5, 7, and 7.

Growing up watching the rangers mid 2000's teams with Mark Texeira, Michael Young, Alphonso Soriano and Hank Blalock infield where all we could do is hit homeruns, and eventually watching them evolve into the world series team that never could seal the deal, there is absolutely nothing more satisfying than 20 years of fandom later seeing this team win it all. On a separate note, I hope the baseball tradition continues to develop in DFW, I look around that stadium throughout the games this postseason ( I was able to attend one in person, but watched all the rest of games on tv) and I see alot of fairweather fans, people who are just looking for a night out. Glad to see a full stadium, but I hope one day our fan base resembles something similar to Philidelphia or Boston as far as the level of intensity goes.

Lowe’s homerun might be my favorite (obvious Cory’s and Adolis is my fav but this is my unknown fav). He was struggling so badly and finally broke it open! You can see the relief on his face

The path to the World Series for this team was mathematically low! The way they lost the division on the last day. Yet, this team had the "IT" factor, never losing away from home and getting one clutch hit after another from the very first Wild Card Series all the way through the World Series was simply magical! 🏆⚾🏆

What makes this offense so special, every scheduled starter for Texas had at least 1 HR in the Postseason. Most of them 2 HR or more. Sure most of the attention went to Garcia and Seager but that Offense can, and did, hurt you at every position. Home Runs don't necessarily win ball games, but to know all positions have the power to do so is pretty special. And scary for opposing teams. I must also say the pitching staff held up their end, enough clutch to win each series. Congrats!
