As awesome as this postseason run was for the Rangers, there's a special side note for me. Late in the ALCS, I lost my Mom while she was in the hospital due to complications from illness. In dealing with sadness from my Mom's death, this postseason run became an incredible beacon of light and hope for me. When the Rangers went o to the World Series, I wasn't sure they would win, but I was going to enjoy every bit of this Series and hope for a different outcome from 2011. On the last out of game 5, I wept because it would've been nice to share the moment with my Mom.. even though she wasn't a big baseball fan. It's just a joy to relive this postseason run anytime I'd like. The emotions are as genuine as when they originally happened. Thanks!!!!!!
I still get teary eye'd watching the 2023 run. Ending of the regular season, then the stress of the playoffs against some seriously scary teams. The series versus the Astros was ulcer levels of amazing. Best sports month I ever had as a fan.
Looking back on this run, the Rays and Orioles series are underrated imo. 200 combined wins and the Rangers swept both of 'em. They had to fly from Seattle to Tampa to Baltimore about a week apart. Without those strong performances by the lineup and starting pitchers, we never see Garcia beating Houston or hitting a World Series walk-off. A remarkable ride all the way through!
As the 2024 season continues & the Rangers deal with injuries, I watch this incredible compilation of how the Rangers clawed their way to win the 2023 World Series. And I cry with insane joy all over again!
Game 1 of the WS has to go down as one of the best playoff games of all time. This Rangers team is the stuff of legends and I can't get enough of rewatching this run.
About once a day I think about how we won the World Series, and every time I still can't believe it. 30 days have gone by and it still doesn't feel real.

I still love the call from the Game 3 robbery of Walker's run. "...runs through the stop sign and Garcia guns him down". Like imagine hearing that without any video reference or baseball knowledge. As far as you know, Walker ran a stop sign and got gunned down by someone named Garcia to the sound of thunderous applause. Baseball announcers sure have a weird way of phrasing things
This team was just dominant, i was rooting for the Phillies in the post season but they started fading to the Dbacks and i dont think they wouldve won against rangers, The Rangers were just kicking ass, even though the astros and rangers were close the rangers still kicked their ass, again this team was just dominant
The thing barely anybody thinks about is the fact that the Rangers have been one of the most competitive teams over the last 15 years in MLB I'm not talking the 6 consecutive losing seasons from 2017 till 2022 I'm talking about the span between 2009 to 2016 up till now they have been one of the best overall teams
The boys are in a hard spot, but dang it watching this makes me think that if Adolis and Jung shorten their swings like last fall this team still has a chance for the division in 2024. No matter what happens this season though, flags fly forever!
