I don't think anyone was booing him for preaching God- I think some people just don't agree with the way he practices Christianity because the Bible says not to judge others. The problem is, studies have shown that; when public figures be they, actors, politicians, or even religious leaders put forth messages of, intolerance, hate, etc; it encourages people to act upon those words. This is so much so that, studies show a much higher probability some members of a church will commit a hate crime after a sermon that promotes hate towards segments of the population. Let's not forget that, the passage in Laviticus used.against the LGBT community includes the words, "and their blood shall surely be upon them", if this passage was used against minorities, it would be recognized for the hate it is. I have seen these literalist Christians on, LGBT, Atheism, and other forums; declaring members of these groups, will burn in hell, should be tortured, denied civil rights, be deported, and put to death. There is a difference between stating one's beliefs and hate speech; and the scripture has hate filled passages within it.
Social Media Meham there have been “Christians” who tell others they are going to hell. And yes, there will be people who identified as homosexual in hell. There will also be people who identify as straight in hell too. Unfortunately many people fail to see that any sexual activity outside marriage is sin. Heterosexual or homosexual. And things such as stealing, murder, drunkenness and even gossip are also sin! But here’s the thing, there is a Savior and He died for the sins of all of us. Through Him and only Him - Jesus - there is salvation. He loves us all the same and He’ll accept any one of us. But He does have a standard. He will be our Savior but He also needs to be our Lord and King.
This show hit so close to home. I grew up in Long Island and was the only daughter of 3 kids. And my brothers were like that especially my brother Bob and Kirk. They tortured me too. have an the oldest.
I couldn't finish watching this interview. After Jeremy finished talking about Alan, I couldn't go on. He spoke the truth about Alan. He was a great human being minus the acting and songwriting.
Wow, Jeremy is so articulate, charismatic, and down to earth. I thought he was a "has-been" in Hollywood, but he's a real man in his own right. Kirk is a born again Christian who lives the Faith to be an example to others and to bring honor and glory to our Lord.

Alan Thicke crosses my mind everyday. It's so sad he died in late 2016 and by today's age standards he was too young. He was only 69. I have a feeling he was the same guy in real life he was on the show.
Liked what he said about Kirk Cameron. Same can be said about a lot of people. 1. The media will twist and omit things (and for us "private citizens", other private citizens do the same thing to us). 2. We are all human. Sometimes we get high on our way with something we are passionate about and through that exited we miss what it really means. (I have seen examples of this with religion, liberalism... you name it). The important thing is that we eventually correct ourselves and grow from it.
u realize kirk cameron is not crazy right? hes a follower of Jesus Christ . anyone who thinks they're athiests because it makes sense? how can u believe that nothing made something? that's just idiotic and if people think we're so great as humans yet we somehow evolved from monkeys supposedly.. it's humans are so great we would need it even greater creator
@@cd123atd4e So something cannot come from nothing yet somehow you give "god" a pass on that. Obviously something had to create god. Also humans did not evolve from monkeys. Monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor. In the end though there is no evidence of a conscious omnipotent creator and certainly no evidence of one in the way the bible or any religious scripture past or present claims.
@Jay Brown But you have not proven that something exists outside of natural laws is responsible, nobody has. So claiming something supernatural caused it is just that, a claim. How about simply saying "I don't know" until evidence can show otherwise. And if humans never find out the true cause then so be it. But making up stories is not the way to arrive at truth.
@Jay Brown Such backwards thinking. You can't assume something is truth until it is proven false unless evidence has been shown that makes it a viable "theory" and by theory I mean in the way the word theory is used in scientific circles. Also we do not know 100% certain if the universe has always existed or not. Science has simply shown that based on current models it appears the universe had a starting point. Also we do not know if something existed before this universe and if something existed before that and before that. Either way you can't make a credible argument that any supernatural "creator" is in any way like the "gods" religion now or in the past has claimed it to be so basically if you even remotely following the teachings of any religion as it pertains to a creator or creation you are exercising nothing but blind faith with zero evidence to back it. Who knows maybe this "creator" seeded our planet with life and moved on. Never looked back and couldn't give a crap about the results of its creation. In the end no human now or in the past can possibly the know the who, what, when, where, why and how of said creator.
Adam N it cant be a God if something made God right?🤔. How ridiculous!! It can only be a God if it’s it’s own that’s what makes a God !! Than who ever or whatever made a God it can’t be a God. Cause God stands alone!! Or it wouldn’t be a God!

Oh yes, bigotry is such a wonderful thing. All hail the great Kirk Cameron.
@Jay Brown Not tolerating bigotry and the oppression of a minority group is not bigotry.
@Jay Brown Sorry but I don't deal in false equivalencies. Defending yourself against an attack is not the same as being the attacker. You really can't be this stupid..lol
@Jay Brown Wow, that statement is not only ignorant but just straight up stupid..lol You obviously have zero ability to use reason or logic.

Take your hatred somewhere else
Years ago I saw you in a Jewish Sesame Street show.
I love your spirit! 💗🙏
Lina K I saw that too.
That’s sad about Alan Thicke he is still missed
I was blessed to see him in the national tour of the Broadway show Chicago some years ago 🌞
I remember him in an interview with the rest of the cast. Jeremy wanted to sing a song but was timid about starting the song and asked Alan to help him. Alan said, "you can do it" but he was a bit shy so Alan started singing and Jeremy took over. He was a cute kid.
He seems like a great guy!
Well the public forgives you Kirk. 😊You’re a great person and so is your amazing wife. As for Jeremy what an absolute gem.
Show me that smile again.
Show me that smile.
Don't waste another minute on your crying. We're nowhere near the end. The best is ready to begin.
Everytime I would hear that start to play on the tv, I just felt so happy!
Loved that show! 🤗
I LOVE what he said about Kirk - that's what happens when you have a real experience with the pure love and grace of God ❤ it changes you
NessaLee30 Religion is for hateful bigots and brainwashed people.
@@FreedomPost you are a anti Christian bigot.
this show was a favorite of mine
im glad to see Jeremy doing so well
Kirk could have became a drug addict and that would be ok with hollywood that they could understand
but becoming a stand up person they dont know what to do with that
"In an insane society the sane man must appear insane"
so true they would have loved to see him on the list of the destroyed
Awesome interview. Thank you so much.
What a wonderful man. I am so thankful that he had and has people in his life that truly loves him and is watching out for their friend. God bless you Jeremy. Never turn your eyes away from God. God will see you through the difficulties of life.
You look great Jeremy, glad things are going well for you...So very sorry about Alan,You could see the love that was on Growing Pains,I loved that show...Take Care,God Bless
Jeremy Miller seems so lovable! Good on him for all his success.
This young man *Rocks*😎
I wish JM all the best❤❤
lesbian here...and I absolutely think people have the right to profess their faith without being accused of hate or intolerance
Your ignorance and stupidity is astounding.
Doby Gillis she has a right to her opinion. Just like you do. Funny how you call her stupid and ignorant. Takes one to know one, I guess
💯
Always cool to see how stars are doing after their shows have ended by chance, but still try stay on track doing side projects and all.
Jeremy, Kirk, Alan ❤️❤️❤️ Great guys.
Kirk is a born again Christian who lives the Faith to be an example to others and to bring honor and glory to our Lord.
so very happy things are working out for you
Seems like a genuinely nice guy
Aww.. His still got his ever cute smile... So down to earth..
Good interview, good guy.
Who is this interviewer? He’s fantastic!!!
Just love him. Very nice man.
Wow! Amazing man
He looks better here than he has in a lot of recent interviews
He really turned it around 👏🙏
Praise God we all need to stand up for the Lord.
Paula King At 9:18, his “defense” of Kirk’s misogynistic statement did not refute it - it confirmed it. Casting men solely in the paternalistic “caretaker/provider” role is just as sexist as as casting women as subservient and servile to men. The entire concept of gender roles is still highly archaic, outdated, and extremely sexist. It’s fine if anyone CHOOSES those roles voluntarily, good for them and more power to them. But to insinuate that those rigid gender roles should apply to ALL men and women is ridiculous.
oh please
RUclipsName I really feel sorry for you liberals always looking to be offended. Always looking to attack people and call them names. How sad.
stinray2118 ...You know what is truly offensive, bible thumping hypocrites!
What "backlash"? Jeremy, thanks for speaking the truth about Kirk. Glad to see you're doing well!😊
He turned into a good looking man
WOW!!! That’s Janis Freeman from the Voice in the background.
Love you Janis r
RIP!!!
I noticed that too. Must've been right before her passing, as this was published March 17th and she passed on the 3rd. 😢
I had a major crush on Ben Seav! I still do, not gonna lie... him talking about the love of his life actually crushed me a bit haha. 😔
@Harlo Del Rey that was very nice of you to say!
He seems like a really nice guy.
What a lovely smile
Awwww he’s so sweet ! Love that he’s normal!
Alan Thicke crosses my mind everyday. It's so sad he died in late 2016 and by today's age standards he was too young. He was only 69. I have a feeling he was the same guy in real life he was on the show.
Great defense of Kirk
good interview
So great that he dressed up for this.
Wow this Guy is awesome.
Jeremy is awesome!
Is the host here one of the singers on the group All-4-One?
Sean Swinton i was just about to ask the same question
Yes he is, great voice
I was about to ask the same thing
Fuck why did we get old
Can’t get any more chill than flip flops 😃
lol He called him 'Ben'.
An interview in cheap flip flops? Classy!
Sounds like the interviewer had posters up of Kirk at one time. So did I..
u realize kirk cameron is not crazy right? hes a follower of Jesus Christ . anyone who thinks they're athiests because it makes sense? how can u believe that nothing made something? that's just idiotic and if people think we're so great as humans yet we somehow evolved from monkeys supposedly.. it's humans are so great we would need it even greater creator
@@cd123atd4e
So something cannot come from nothing yet somehow you give "god" a pass on that. Obviously something had to create god. Also humans did not evolve from monkeys. Monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor. In the end though there is no evidence of a conscious omnipotent creator and certainly no evidence of one in the way the bible or any religious scripture past or present claims.
@Jay Brown
But you have not proven that something exists outside of natural laws is responsible, nobody has. So claiming something supernatural caused it is just that, a claim. How about simply saying "I don't know" until evidence can show otherwise. And if humans never find out the true cause then so be it. But making up stories is not the way to arrive at truth.
@Jay Brown
Such backwards thinking.
He's 43. Looks great.
He's younger than DiCaprio? Doesn't look that :)
Same age as me and looking 20 times better!
Cuba Gooding Jr. doing interviews now?
Thank you jeremy for your kind and true words regarding Kirk. How shamefull that the interviewer was so ready to buy into the mainstream media hype about Kirk. He gives journalist a bad name. Thank you Jeremy for who you have become and I hope that you one day see and accept the same faith and hope for a future in Christ that Kirk has found!!!
I'm pretty sure I saw on Jeremy's social media he was talking about being Christian a couple years ago.
