I lived just north of West Palm Beach for four years and have moved back to Tennessee! I was a purchasing manager for the largest custom stair company in Florida for three years and I can tell you that the poor guys that worked in our shop suffered horribly in the summer. South Florida hits mid to high 90's for 10 months and the humidity stays super high when the winds come off the gulf side. I love being back home in Tennessee. We do get hot but even during this time of year the night time temps can get into the 60's. Fall and spring are crisp and cool. I do miss the Cuban food though, but I have my biscuits and gravy back!

Put some industrial shelving and an overhead crane first. You could source those for fairly cheap. But that over head lift will be a key feature for unloading motors, installing motors, lifting anything. And have it go from the main door to the shelving rack. I like everyone else did this after the fact. And well nothing like moving in. Then out. Then back in again to put the shelf in and over head electric hoiste on an i beam track.
Stoked on your new shop congratulations. Once you get it painted line the walls with pallet racks. It will give you an insane amount of space because you can always stack stuff up instead of just put it on the floor and have it take up all the room.
