@@nopitterpatter7632 I guess it's cuz of the reliability. But honestly I haven't seen any major problems with the new v6 other than the wastegate issues.

@@Tekonic.I still have my 270,537 mile 5.7 Crewmax from 2007 which I will gift to my dad since I now have the 23 TRD Pro in the Lunar Rock color. As far as performance I won’t miss the old V8. These wastegate arguments have been generalized and overblown as it was mostly just a small number of trucks. Same thing with my old V8 back in 2007 when it was dropping valves after just 886 miles. It was a quick one day fix and no other issues ever since. These are new car problems folks. That’s why you have a warranty. I would suggest to any real truck guy to test drive the new Tundra with an open mind. Whether it’s the base 3.5 or the iForce Max you can’t go wrong with either.

24 hasn’t been released yet… so 23? Also it’s an off road truck. Not luxury. It’s built off the limited model. Platinum, capstone, and 1794 are their luxury models. 😂

Might just be me but they feel cheaply made. I know it's a Toyota and it's probably mechanically great but the fit and finish on these trucks feels cheap.
1000 defective engines made with timing chains that will fail and cause engine damage,window rattles.waste gate issues
I bought a 2021 tundra the new tundra puts the tundra name to shame…very sad
