I don’t collect Harry Potter sets, but when I saw how this could combine I went out and got them all. Can’t wait until June 1st so I can combine them all!
What really annoys me is that Lego doesn’t have the entrance to the chamber of secrets above the slide into the chamber. You know what I think I’m going to switch out Lockharts classroom for the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets
I stopped adding to my collection a couple of years ago because of thinking I wouldn't get to create the whole hogwarts castle after the micro hogwarts castle was brought out, I'm a minifig fan and really dislike micros, so now I need to catch up on everything I've missed buying so I can complete this beauty 😍
Once I saw the build, that suddenly made the third wave of Hogwarts castle sets my favorite. The first one has the vertical stackability, but it’s blocky. The second wave had the best detail, but connects in an odd horizontal way with no flexibility on angles. This wave combines the best of both waves. Plus I hate nanofigure scale, and passed on a lot of cool sets because of it.
i've been collecting and only need three. the grey roofed sets look SO good and i love tinkering with these. so glad it looks this amazing. edit: i also cannot stand nano figures so... this is cool

I built the same thing but also added the gatehouse from the 2018 set and the owlary and boat house from the 2024 sets. I ordered extra green roof pieces to make them match the main 2021 to 2023 castle sets.
What I did was add in the Forbidden Forest set that has the Centaurs, Gwawp, and Umbridge and the Room of Requirement that had Harry and Luna and the Potions Class Book set and the Hogwarts Trunk to round out the castle and have more rooms. I also switched the rooms around a bit and moved the stairs from Sirius’s Escape to be part of Dumbledore’s Office with the Gargoyle Statue in front of the stairs. Also took out Fluffy and made that set an extra classroom.
Oooh I'm so close, just needing the new room of requirement and the new final battle!! Almost there! (I have some others not in the video as well, fun stuff)
This looks really good, but why didn’t you put the abandoned bathroom set over the Chamber of Secrets? It has a feature where the bathroom set leads directly into the Chamber.
Impressive! But I don’t like the fact that this official combination doesn’t care about the connections between the toilets and the Chamber of Secrets, nor does it include the Fluffy set. I shall make something half official, half custom when I’ll built all of those sets !

I like that they had thought out how to connect everything, like they did with the original sets. But, as an adult who doesn’t actually play with my LEGO sets, I prefer the microscale set for the detail rather than the play set versions.

So I just need the new final battle set. It looks like the staircase gwp or gryfindor common room isn't in the back of book. I had to change my interior portion of hogwarts after I got the room of requirement. They really need to stop making these connectable castles after doing the gray and now these new green sets. I have the nano/micro figure set and love it. I really like this minifigure size as well, but the light green roof color is off to me. I much prefer the dark grey.
Myrtle's Bathroom is supposed to on top of the Chamber of Secrets because the bathroom is the entrance to it. Also, the Room Of Requirements is supposed to be on the top floor of Hogwarts
ngl, microscale version would look way better as the minifig scale just looks all messy and the figures dont seem to fit at all but micro atleast the figures match the side and the back isnt just a bunch of random things

Looks surprisingly accurate, but have you ever realized how they have the Room of Requirement face outward? Isn’t it supposed to be a room coming from a wall inside of the castle?
I wonder if this is the end of this castle and whether we will get the start of a new castle next year. I also think if they showed they were building up to this these sets would have sold better.
i sure hope so. it always bothered me how crowded the castle parts are as in many figures but the place is small. well now this makes the castle seem decently big but when there are 20 minifigs it again seems like the local grocery shop where everyone is touching everyone. so yea they need to do the castle like 1.5 times bigger without adding any figures
All I needed was the Sirius escape and I missed it before the Christmas rush but I managed to get it for 30% off for the last call restock before it retired!!! So happy
My only problem with this connection is the fact that the flying lesson set, fluffy encounter set and the GWP’s aren’t included. Theres also no continuity w/ the bathroom and slide unfortunately
My issue is that it’s not enclosed. I like minifigure scale more as well, but I like have enclosed buildings more, so for that reason I’d have to go with the micro figure scale castle. That’s just me. That being said it’s truly nice to have all the little Easter eggs from the minifigure scale sets. Ugh! It’s tough!

I NEEDED this video to help assemble the model lol. The images in the instruction booklets were too small, so thank you so much! One change I made was instead of putting Lockheart's office (from the Chamber of Secrets set) below the stairs i put it with the fluffy rooms (and put those to the right of the Room of Requirement/Clock Tower) then put the devil's snare room where the booklet said to put Lockheart's office. This is now the most massive LEGO Castle I own. It almost puts the 2022 Lion Knight's castle to shame, having it on the same table XD
I put Lockhart’s office next to his classroom and used Fluffy’s room as an extra classroom. Then I put the stairs below Dumbledore’s Office and had the Clock Tower be located above a few of the smaller sections to give it some height since it is one of the highest points of the castle.
The only issue i have with it is that none of the roof sections really line up. It makes it feel very messy and jumbled together. The ucs style feels so clean in comparison

We have the battle at Hogwarts set for our first one, but in its big castle configuration, it's so wobbly and comes apart too easily. Do people usually fix it to be more stable?
I'd rather have the other castle set tbh. I don't hate these individual sets but to me they just seem kinda messy. Although, I do like the minifigures since you can have actual movie characters around the castle
I have almost all of them (besides room of requirement and the new battle of hog warts) But all of them, besides the office, are destroyed. I think I might rebuild them all if I find enough room.
It's really a smart concept but I'm not sure if I really love it. It's a bit too small in terms of rooms for my liking. And for me, it would need lots of add ons to the sets that are very bare bones and not much to them to bulk them up and make the set fuller from the back. I love the look in the front It's the back and the rooms I'm not set on.
Having the final battle as the final set to complete the castle was a nice touch
I was not a huge fan of the new Hogwarts sets at first and I having bought any yet, but seeing this display piece is making me reconsider!

They do. But it’s a separate style. I wanted to just focus on LEGOs suggested build and the other ones in this new style

That’ what I did. I put Lockhart’s Classroom and his office next to each other and had the Polyjuice Bathroom above the slide.
