Thank you, you have saved me from going completely round the bend with the collar. I read and read and reread the instructions and still did it wrong but your video explained it so well. I have always sewn women's clothes until my husband asked me to make him a shirt, I have done about 7 so far. I just cut up a shirt he no longer wears and use that as a pattern.

Thank you very much for this sew-along! I am new to sewing and I purchased the S9157 pattern and was so frustrated trying to figure out the pattern instructions. Although this is a different pattern, Simplicity uses the same instructions for similar shirt patterns and your sew-along followed it step by step. Thanks again! Also, I subscribed!

Just purchased the pattern, so excited to sew this! Is there a benefit to sewing a straight stitch and cleaning up the seams with a serger over just serging the seam directly ?
So when you serger them directly before sewing the seams together you have the easy option to make alterations to your garment if the fit get too tight in the future. When you serger the seams together you might wanna be certain you won’t need to let anything out most times.
Hi, I just purchased the pattern and I am excited to start sewing but how do I print the pattern out? I am unsure of the print settings. Please help :/ I downloaded the A4 option for myself.
