    R.I.P. to John “Ecstasy” Fletcher another hip hop legend has fallen my father had the pleasure of meeting him along with Jalil Hutchins and Drew “Grandmaster Dee” back in the Disco Fever in the Bronx NY man 2020 has been a terrible year for people falling down to this madness he will greatly be missed thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the rap game.

      Sampling was really just beginning to take over. It was maybe some rapping over loops, but mostly original programmed tracks with live instrument accompaniment. In '88, *then* it's predominantly samples.

    I was 16 when this came out,and I remember Marley Marl used to kill this song on WBLS Rap Attack with Mr Magic (RIP),and this was just another one of the bangas that Whodini dropped.They were definitely one of my faves....RIP Twin (Ecstacy).
