This song is fascinating when you really put your ear to it. The rhythm carries the melody throughout the entire song. Yet it's never repetitive or overbearing. There's a lot going on within the instrumentation as well as the vocal performances in every section of the song. No part is exactly the same. Everything in this WHODINI song just seems to totally click. Great composition and recording. It's a masterpiece of our BLACK Musical culture

The man who produced this was Larry Smith. He passed away on Dec 19, 2014 in a hospital where he could not walk or speak because of a stroke. Yet, his name seems to be never mentioned when it comes to producers. RUN-DMC'S Sucker Mc's was all him, Whodini's Freaks come out at night was all him. Whodini didn't even give him a shout out when they received their Hip Hop Honors performing songs he created. The only person who I see give him his props in the industry is DMC. #RIP Larry Smith, you made me fall in love with Hip Hop
