Ok, coldplay didn't copy that song.. it's noticed ont their website ( coldplay.com ) that they have taken some elements of "I Got to Rio" for their new single :)
@Zsjefsjendaol They aren't paying royalties. They said they made up that melody themselves. This is not the first time Coldplay has done this. Other songs also have stolen riffs. I don't get how they keep getting away with it
@jixsibabe I agree with you. I am here b/c of the film Biutiful and that beautiful night club scene in which this music is used. I just saw the film this past weekend and really enjoyed it. I love Coldplay, but had no idea (not having heard yet that song everyone's talking about) about their use of this music. They probably saw the movie and got inspired, haha.
