Would you please call Horizon hobbies and mention this? I just had this problem and they claimed I’m the first person to bring this up. The spacers are too narrow. If they were as wide as the locking collar, there would be no problem. The Chinese manufacturer should not have made these spacers so narrow. It’s especially frustrating since this is literally the first step in the build and it reveals issues with quality control.
Hey guys, I also had the same issue what I did was put a little bit of heat shrink on the elbow of the landing gear right before the spacer is the best thing I could come up with, but it worked
@@Happyroadside That’s a great solution. Thanks for posting this. I will probably do this since it’s an easy and lightweight solution. My issue is that Horizon hobbies is selling this kit with a spacer that is too narrow. It really sucks for a kid to receive this as a gift and then they are unable to assemble and fly the airplane because they can’t get past step one in the build. It shouldn’t require heat shrink to make it work, but here we are.
The first step shows the wheel spacers stopping at the first bend….the wheel spacers on mine don’t stop at the bend, they move freely up that axle to the point where the fairings mount…what do I do?

Excellent overview of the building process.
Ohh! You talk very calm and relaxed! Rare quality today! Thank!
I’m happy for this video as I have this plane unopened in a box upstairs.
My inside wheel spacers just fall down the wire them don't stay in place😢

Great video I’m going to watch it when I’m building my plane.

Mine do the same. Not sure what to do
mine also, seem the spacer collar on the landing gear do nothing.
@@TheFlagInspector Yes, it is frustrating.
First ever plane build for me. 3:45 in and you have installed the landing gear retainers wrong. 😢
You made this so simple thanks a lot
All the setups are assuming you are a beginner pilot, you may want to think about different settings according to your experience, thank you.
Dude, I just got my first plane. This is perfect.
@@JWGasper0125 hope it's going well?
Seems like that stand you’re using is very helpful. Do you recommend that I use such a stand to build the plane?
Very nicely done.
Very precize discripton, great job, thank you. At this size, also send models outside the United States?, for example to Europe ?
i would really love one of these, but worried if that i took a few nose dives into the ground, will it totally wreck it?
It is fairly durable, so it’ll prob be fine. Too many crashes might eventually be too many crashes though
The way he’s talking is freaking me out
Just perfect thanks!
So I lost a couple of screws during the build process. How do you recommend a replacement?
Same here.
Very helpful! Great video!
Bellissimo video.
We’re can I get a stand like that ?
Homie adding an extra U in aileron
do you need to add the elevators
I noticed one of my vortex generators was installed backwards. Does anyone know what this May result in?
Ur plane will fly weird and wont be as stable
Could you please help me with Where each cable goes on the flight control

This is an "assembly"...Not a build.
Unpacking Chinese foam and screwing it together is not building an airplane.
respectfully, its not that deep
Ur probably another grumpy old man that thinks anything that isn’t balsa wood isn’t a real rc plane
