18:43 I don't remember everything anymore but I will try to explain. In fake love it is explained that you will loose yourself because you try to be someone else you aren't. They wished for weaknesses to be hidden. Therefore they have fears too. Each Person had an object they traded with a different object. The shopkeeper looked like that guy in fake love with a robe and a mask. They traded an Object that symbolizes their fears with an object that symbolized something happy/hopeful.
It is believed/theorized that the guy with the mask is that member who met him (Jungkook) himself. The one with the mask is the Part of him who tries to put on a mask and hide his weaknesses/be someone else. The other one is his true self.
The members traded not only the objects (Symbols of their fears) into an object that symbolizes happines (fake happines) but in reality they traded their true selves and turned into the people with balck robes and masks.
Edit: In the song "Magic Shop" they traded the objects not in Fake love. But both Songs have a connection.
your videos are so fun, I really hope you will continue your journey with bts! the 4 singers and 3 rappers all have really unique styles and have released solo music (along with bts decade long catalog), so they really span a lot of genres and the lyrics are a lot deeper than people realize. hope to see more!
Enjoyed your reaction (as usual). Don't take it to heart if you didn't understand all the imagery. BTS has a storyline that runs through their MVs called the Bangtan Universe (or BU for short). Anyway, there is a lot of imagery that relates to the BU in this video: fire, water, flower, candy, phones. I think you would enjoy the BU because the story is told in snippets and you have to piece it together.
Also, if you ever have questions re how something was done, you can generally find a behind-the-scenes or making of video.
BTS uses practical effects whether possible. They did do the fire effect practically, but they did enhance it with post-production. (They have behind-the-scenes videos for all of their MVs so you can see how they make them!)
This rapper that gave you goosebumps is actually Suga also known as Agust D. You can check more of his solo song specially Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala. He is actually a rapper, producer and song writer.

Sugar's real name is Min Yoongi you will hear the other members calling him Yoongi often. He was inducted into what would be equal to the writers Hall of Fame 4 South Korea when he was only about 25 or 26 years old. He is also a classical pianist. He has been producing music for pretty big artists since he was around 17 or 18. All of the BTS members can sing rap dance and play musical instruments and in my opinion they are all good actors in comedians.

Once you dive into BTS there's no way getting out. There's more to it than just the music. Min Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D became who he is thanks to these bois help. They're his brothers. They're family. They been with him through everything and helped him in so many ways. You have to start from the beginning with BTS to see the growth and storyline with these songs.

This song was the MV my granddaughters showed me and I fell immediately in the rabbit hole. It doesn’t have to be romantic relationships I dealt with this with family trying to please my parents and never meeting the expectations. This affect me until my adulthood. This song is form their love myself era and was so dynamic in my family. I have the best relationship with my daughter and granddaughters because of BTS. We travel to concerts together 3 generations of ARMY. You will learn them by names soon enough.💜

Ohh, I feel another Suga/Agust D fan is being born. 😂 There is a helluva lot to unpack in this MV, don't worry if you didn't catch everything. It's a part of a very long and convoluted multiverse story, they even have a mobile game about it (with a great original soundtrack, among which Heartbeat is fans' favourite. It has a great MV too). Keep digging. Suga, by the way, has plenty of solo work within BTS, plus three rappers as a unit are mind-blowing, especially live! Suga's First Love or Shadow solo songs within BTS are always giving me shivers. DDAENG, UGH or Outro: Tear are my other favourites from the three rappers. I love bts they are a 7 member group from south Korea and they do different genre's its all just so incredible. Bts has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Their fans are called Army we are super active sweet and such incredible people as well. There are guides to help you with who is who and ao much more about the group.
when i say you shoul watch all their mvs from 2013 to understand what's going on and every little thing in the music videos has a meaning related to each member. they worked really hard on this story line

I dont understand why people still always suggest joke, when he has SO many better tracks to showcase his talent. YUN from INDIGO really shows his individual colour and is Exactly the type of style that RM has always admired and went for. JOKE gives you nothing, just a word ramble, and the worst part is that theres not a proper translations for it, he used so much slang in it, that it just cannot be translated in detail. Even Do you or Monster is better than Joke, lets not drag it into the present anymore, at least not as the First song a new listener will hear. Total turn off.
@@jennaeveliina313 If the reactor is into heavy rap and flow switches, then Joke is a good way to rope him in, but I agree it is definitely not his objectively best or most representative song. And the translation you pick makes a big difference, too.

BTS have really deep and relatable meanings in their songs. That's why we love them so much. They really helped many people overcome really hard times of their life by giving them hope and something to grab on to continue living. I for example was in a really dark place some years ago and I was really unhappy and not knowing how to face it or overcome it and I was feeling really alone. And then I found BTS. And almost immediately I fell in love with ther music and them. They made me happy and helped me love myself. And today four years later I'll still cry with some of their songs and laugh with others. It's like we arre a family. All of us. Armys and BTS.. They say that BTS will find you when you really need them and it's true💜💜💜💜
These 7 amazing men debuted in 2013 and their lyrics arw so meaningful and impacts people's lives as well their songs have helped me through my personal struggles. You gotta react to Magic Shop live performance it literally will hit you differently for sure.

Yes, the fire and water in this MV are real! There's bts footage of them filming this MV showing it :)
BTS is known to mostly use practical effects (meaning non-CGI) in their MVs! Of course, they'll still use CGI and special effects, but they seem to prefer practical effects and I think it stems from the days when the company had very, very little money to spare on MVs and their teams got super creative with it. And it just stuck from then on

If you like rap and vocals, listen to "Dis-ease"...it has live and lyrics. It's not the most famous, but it's one of my favorites.

i recommend if you reacted to BTS albums from 2013-2022 (last album until their return from the mandatory military service in 2026) to really see their evolution musically and their diverse discography. Also, you'll find many hiphop songs from their early days because they started as a hiphop group. they also have this song called "HIPHOP PHILE" where they pay hommage to rappers who shaped them as artists it's so so good
also it'll help you understand their messages better because they have this whole alternative universe plot where they are 7 guys who's struggling through life as teenagers, students, young adults, adulthood, mental health, etc.

Actually fun fact about jungkook 🤭 aka the guy that was lifting his shirt in the chorus, he had said before the music video came out that he had a special surprise that he’d been working on for army (army is the name of the fanbase) and it was that he’d been working out and the six back shocked us all LOL

I love your reactions! They always come across as genuine, which is something hard to find these days. You've already reacted to 2 of the members of BTS - j-hope and SUGA/Agust D (he goes by Agust D on his solo projects). This video is very hard to interpret for someone just starting with BTS as it's part of their fictional storyline (called Bangtan Universe, or BU for short) which connects to previous music videos (among other things) mainly starting in 2015. But you always find your way through their lyrics and accurately interpret them for the most part. I really enjoy your reactions, I hope we get to see more of you reacting to BTS and other members. 💜

It is possible to keep them straight, but it may take awhile if you only watch them when you react to them. You already know three of them.

The other four are 6:50 Jimin, 7:04 Jin, 3:28 RM, and 8:28 V (he's also the one that lifted his friend at the beginning).
16:25 They have a "making of" video you can watch if you'd like. With the exception of Idol and the pandemic era videos, they use very little cgi. For Idol, the heavy use of cgi was a clapback against some hate comments. You'd probably want an explanation video to explain everything.
17:58 Save Me is another song of theirs that you should check out. If you take a screenshot at this point and flip it upside down, it's another song that is a response song to Save Me. I've only recently come across it and I've been listening to them for over two years now.
18:20 He's a character you see in a couple other videos... at least in Fire. This video is part of a wider storyline called The Bangtan (the B and T of BTS) Universe. Not many new ARMY has delved much into the BU because it involves more than just their videos. If I see something odd, I just assume it's part of the BU. 😂

There's an extended version of this music video, which features more of the masks and a surprise ending. That version also has a bit more of a 'rock' feel in the instrumentation. Worth checking out if you're really interested in this concept.

It might seem hard to memorize seven names and seven faces, but it should be easier if you remember that there are three rappers (RM, Suga/Agust D, J-hope), and four singers (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook). So if you see someone rapping, he can only be RM or Suga or J-hope, not the four singers. The same with the singers.
To help you get to know them, you can explore their solo work, or watch some rappers-only and singers-only songs. I see others have given you some recommendations.
